I been eating here since I could barely see over the shop Counter. I know the proprietors really well and this family run business always delivers the highest level of service to all their customers...
This is the only Kebab takeaway in the UK that will never serve you the same doner from the night before... if it sells it sells (which 99.99% of the time it does, you're luckily if you get There late and find there's still doner left on two massive grills!!) if It doesn't sell it goes straight into the bin..... I've witnessed this with my own eyes! Bravo to the owners
The owners are always polite, friendly and know their punters well
I've been to the kitchen and food preparation area and it's immaculate! Hygiene is 10/10
Now we come to the taste.... Put it quiet simply The Best Turkish Kebab really is the BEST!!
The döner meat tastes amazing as does all other food on the menu. The döner is the best I've had and you can taste the quality in the meat!
Prices are very reasonable and you get a lot of food as staff are very generous with the portions of food they serve.
This is a must Kebab Take away that one must try before they die!

Without any shadow of a doubt the best Kebab house in London. If I'm ever in Stoke Newington I always stop for one. Only problem is they are so good I can't eat them anywhere else because no other place can compete. I know many people think it's crap fast food but they use fresh ingredients changed daily and the difference is noticeable when compared to any other kebab house.

Spectacular! I was living upstairs and I got weight! Their doner wrap so delicious! Although I have moved from there I am still going often.

This most definitely has to be "The Best Turkish Kebab". I always call about 15-20 minutes prior to getting there and once I am there I'm usually served within five minutes. That means either my meat and chips with wrap bread or doner wrap with an input of chips is served within 5 minutes. In that 5 minutes I will get to choose the salads and sauces I'd like on my food. I usually go for some onion for that extra flavour. My wife chooses Onion and red Cabbage. We both go for a little ketchup and mayonaise. They don't do Garlic sauce, because from what I've been told it would take away the special taste of the kebab.
My friends and I use to come here on late Friday and Saturday nights. The customer service is great from all members of staff and in particular two brothers who are perhaps the heads of the family business. The doner kebab isn't made from the usual left over pink slime. It is made from real shoulder meat and made by themselves. That's probably why it doesn't make you feel oily and sluggish after eating it. A must eat if you aren't a regular customer already!
Always come here for the doner wrap which includes chips inside and salad... Its a must have.. Also the best egg meat burger EVER.. MUST TRY!!! Does not compare to any other

I wandered into this establishment after a fun night at a nearby pub craving some delicious food and if their sign was anything to go by it looked like where to go.
Now the rating I'm giving is not wholly reflective of their food quality but the service I got on this occasion as well. As a new comer I noticed a queue stretching out the door and presumed this was to place an order. However 5 minutes in and I realised that it was to collect your food already ordered. Now after placing my order I must say I waited the longest I ever have for a kebab ... there was an nice air of familiarity as the staff conversed with their regulars but as a hungry and increasingly impatient newcomer you can imagine I was not pleased. 3 times I thought my order was ready and was called forward only to realise it was meant for someone else. I was about to just leave it when they finally called me up and the attitude was much like here ya go and out ya go.
So on that note the rating took a hit because part of the food experience is about how you're treated and served...but in all fairness their food did actually taste good would have been better if I could have got the sauces I wanted...but oh well. Still I guess worth going to.
Been going to these guys for years and the quality is always top notch, from the burgers to the doner it all tastes good.
I probably eat there more than I should each week due to it being easy and so tasty.

Prices are quite high for what you get in my opinion..
The kebab wrap was quite good but nothing outstanding in my opinion..
Chips were quite crunchy and fairly light in comparison to many other shops.
Service was so fast I almost didn’t realise to be served!
The staff are extremely friendly & professional, hygiene standards are high, food was prepared very quickly & packaged well, quantity was generous too.
Only reason I’m giving it 4* is because the chilli sauce is a let down & also a variety of sauces could’ve made it alot better.
Keep up the great work & get onto a variety of sauces.
For me it's the nostalgic place as I lived so close when I was a student about 25years ago. Back then my English wasn't so good and I didn't understand the order system, but the staff were all friendly and very helpful. I used to go there all the time. One time the black cab I was in got hit by another car in front of the shop. As soon as the staff saw I was inside they came out calling my name and supported me because they knew I didn't speak much English. I am really thankful about that.
I didn't understand much about the doner kebab then so I used to order chicken kebab all the time. It's my nostalgic kebab house in London and I have so much memories. When I go back I should visit there again.

The food is always 10/10, never once over the many years of coming here have I been left disappointed..

Delicious, Ordered got my food under 20 seconds, generous amounts of salad, generous portions of meat for a small, could not asked for better! Definitely recommend for a good meal!
First visited back in ‘04/‘05 and have been a regular since. High quality doner meat with good portion sizes. However, I feel that in recent times, the quality has dropped and they aren’t on the level they once were. For all the OGs who’ve been coming here from the beginning and not just visiting because it’s spread through social media, will understand what I’m talking about.

It was my first visit, a recommendation from a couple of lovely neighbours my son and I ran into as were putting on our helmets to, admittedly blindly (no specific plan), ride into a hectic London Friday evening in search for a bite and an experience.
So we hopped on the moped and rode 14 minutes to get there.
I got the traditional Doner Kebab (also recommended by the neighbours), while my son got the chicken shish version. Together with a pile of chips and a superbly chilled bottle of Moretti (for me), well, it turned out to be a swell father and son evening 😉.
P.S. The guy hunched over the toppings? His speed, precision and style, including the killer comb-over…awesome!
The Best Turkish Kebab is the art of making kebabs efficiently maintaining a high comedic standard of customer service. It’s everything you want in your neighbourhood shop and if you don’t think so too, you have to visit a few times to understand that they are all about business when it comes to wrapping, not only a falafel wrap, but in charm. Give yourself a break and stand in front of the window and watch them work for a minute. You will come to appreciate the mastery of a PHD level in fast food at it’s highest level. This place grounds you and brings you back each time, not only for the flavour of their amazing chilli sauce, but it its brightness it casts onto the whole street trough it's windows. It is the place of one kind of experience that comes not only trough great food.

UPDATED REVIEW 3/10/23 - ordered a large chicken shish in box. lots of lovely chicken. great salad and chilli sauce. added chips were perfect, plentiful and reasonably priced. sent a large pitta, but also a small one too. nice touch. as with my first order, everything carefully packaged. i like this place. they seem to take good food and service seriously and i think it shows. i will be ordering again soon. i can even live with the disappointment of no chicken donner. i think i will go there for the mixed special when next in the area.
ORIGINAL REVIEW - negatives first then the good. website and info on uber eats app are amusingly unhelpful though app does have some photos but not totally conclusive. interested in the best special but not certain what it is. i think great to have such confidence in the food, but i feel giving us customers more info might help sales. i also understand items are always priced higher on the apps, but best special is 15 quid on menu and 22 with ubereats, so makes me pause.
i had to assume the mixed kebab was like everyone's as no info, so expected lamb and chicken donner. actually it's lamb donner, shish and kofte. i always find lamb shish a bit tough but this was better than most re texture and tasted lovely. the donner and particularly the kofte were outstanding. i plan a kofte soon as was the best i can ever remember having. or maybe a chicken donner as i have been craving. decisions, decisions... all food packed very well with nice salad and pittas and a really generous amount and properly good chilli sauce. seems to me on my first experience that these guys take customer pleasure in their food quite seriously despite it also being a step into the unknown. i would love if they offered more mixed options as i would definitely order from here more often if i could get a lamb and chicken donner mix, or a lamb kofte and chicken or lamb donner mix. as it is i think i will return, but not as likely as if they had more options and as I'm moving soon i may try and find a place in stokey so i can go there. delighted to pay them for such good food. less keen paying uber almost as much just for delivering it. 50% increase on some items is troubling.

Best donner by FAR, can’t think of any other place on this level. Forget about visiting London, if you visit the UK, be sure to go and try their food.

Recently voted The Best Turkish Kebab shop in London. You can see why very quickly. The lamb donner it cut via an automatic machine blade to ensure consistency. The walls are covered with photos of famous people that have visited.
Every meal is packaged in branded paper bags covered to single use plastic bags.
You get a tub of salad and chilli sauce free too. The lamb donner itself is wonderfully cooked, tasty and juicy.
Add this placs to your visit list. There are no seats, so it is take away only.

Best doner kebab I've ever had - and I'm hard to please (also sober at the time of eating). I ordered a small doner kebab wrap (£9) and it was both absolutely delicious and huge. They have this big machine on a rail that slices the meat so you get really nice, perfectly even thin slices all the way. Great selection of salad and the garlic and chilli sauces were excellent. Very, very impressed. Lovely staff too, friendly and up for a laugh. Perfect 10/10 🌯🧄🌶️🥇🏆👌🏼
I honestly believe it’s the best Turkish in London for take away. The food always tastes fresh and a forever queue which shows just how popular the place is. Paid £40 for 2 specials which fed 5 of us with more than enough to feed the same amount again.
