A hidden gem, with authentic and delicious Malaysian food, served by warm people of Malaysian Deli! The weekend buffet is our favourite - value for money.
I just had the most authentic and delicious malaysian food! Ordered chicken rendang, beef rendang, chicken masek marah (not very spicy to cater to more people), achar, curry vegetables with peanut sauce and sambal tumis. Devoured it! I even had teh halia (milk tea with fresh ginger)! The staff were friendly and helpful. Cravings fulfilled! i'm a happy girl. Will definitely go back again for more~ looking forward to your menu!! They have wkend mini buffet which is very value for money~
Always love this place. Truly the taste of south east Asia. Lovely joint, tasty food always with a smile.
The New Yorker called Singaporeans 'the most culinarily homesick people in the world'. My husband and I were missing home – and Malaysian Deli brought us back. We had murtabak, terung berlada, beef rendang and teh halia, and all of it was delicious and affordable. (We're used to the food being a lot spicier, but I understand the need to cater to a wide range of tastebuds.) Thank you so much for a shiok dinner. We live close by, so we'll be back!
Thank you Trish for accommodating us, the family of 9 who arrived fr Manchester last week. Your warm hospitality and great service; even after closing hours, was much appreciated. Great service, delicious food. Superb! BIG thanks from us, the hungry Singaporeans :)
Highly recommended.
Best food and best service! Thanks for feeding me every week guys :)

Amazing tasty food. Friend staff. Great value. Would definitely come back
The best lamb curry ever made!!!
Cant get enough of it!!!
Unrelentingly top quality food and great service. The rotis are unbelievable.
Tried many in and around central london but so far i have to say Best authentic Malay food in london, cooked with love and passion.Makanan Melayu yang Paling sedap di london!
Amazing place! I go there about 3 times a week now for the teh tarik and beautiful nasi lemak!!!!
Delicious food! Fantastic people running the cafe! Worth the trip visiting, will be back again soon!
Authentic cuisine, cozy ambience n great customer service! Really taste like home cooked food! Well done!
I am Malaysian and have worked as a Malaysian chef in London and Malaysia. This place is amazing, big portions, well priced and most importantly delicious! Very authentic flavour, just like how you’d get in Malaysia. Will definitely visit again, thank you!
It’s one of the treasures close to home! 🤩
It’s very nice place to enjoy the real Malaysian food!
I came with my boyfriend a couple of times and we have always been satisfied.
I recommend this restaurant.
Absolutely delicious food at extremely good prices. Main dish and dessert for 3 people came to less than £40. Lots of good vegan options. The staff are kind and accomodating - we turned up without a booking on a busy Friday night and they managed to squeeze us in without making us feel rushed. Will definitely be back - thank you!
We tried to go a couple of weeks in a row and couldn’t get in on a weekend, so calling and booking in advance highly recommended.
The food was actually pretty amazing and there were multiple vegetarian (with the option for vegan), fish and meat options. You can BYOB for a £2 charge too.
Would definitely recommend as it was relatively cheap and staff seemed nice!
Affordable, yummy and cosy! I've almost tried every single dish on their menu and loved everything. My favourites are the nasi lemak beef rendang, mee mamak goreng and the onion fritters! It's cash only on Wed and Sun, but there are plenty of cash machines along the road. Highly recommend!
It was pleasant surprise to find real Malaysian food in this neighbourhood and I’m obsessed. Nasi Lemak was fresh, authentic and delicious, the meat was tender and flavour was spot on. The teh tarik was strong just like how it should be. Staffs were friendly and attentive. Would recommend to give it a try if you enjoy Southeast Asian cuisines, it can get quite popular on weekends so better book in advance.
We really enjoyed this place. Food was fresh, delicious and very flavourful. Service was super friendly and attentive but not overbearing. They do a Sunday brunch menu with veggie, vegan and kids options which we will definitely give a go. For those interested they do BYOB. We’ll be back.
My friend was telling me about this lovely Malaysian deli for weeks before I finally managed to make it down. The staff were friendly and welcoming when we came in. Keep in mind that the place is not normally open during the day and opens from 6pm usually with earlier opening times on a Sunday morning (so check beforehand).
We ordered the mamak mee goreng, nasi lemak with beef rendang and a chow kweoy teow. Loved it.
It is rare to find places that do an authentic beef rendang curry (as most do a beef curry and try to pass it off as the same). The flavours were just like back in Malaysia and I'd happily go back again.
I’m not an expert in Malaysian food, but we really enjoyed our meal. I especially liked the acar awak (pickled veg). The roti were fresh and delicious! And I love pandan so loved the custard dessert. Friendly staff and great prices.
Can't believe we missed such close HALAL southeast asian restaurant near our place! Really good to satisfy our craving of hometown food. Not exactly cheap but we'll take it.
However, the nasi lemak is not really lemak but normal nasi, was confused about that, but besides that the food was great!
Best Malaysian restaurant I've come across. Strongly recommend the beef rendang. The chicken curry/roti starter was great too but the roti is usually slightly undercooked
Sensational food, friendly service, a buzzy atmosphere and very authentic. So glad to have discovered this place, thank you! Definitely book ahead 👍🏼
Really good place for a nice meal!
Generous portion size of chicken satay! It was juicy, nicely cooked with a thin layer of crispiness and yummy peanut sauce.
The chicken randang wasn't over spicy, gave enough kick and flavours are still there. Where you don't just taste chili. Roti went well with the randang and a nice chewy texture and better than having rice!
Amazing little restaurant. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. They don't serve alcoholic beverages but you can buy them separately and bring it with you. He food is absolutely delicious and for very reasonable price.
I ordered several dishes for takeaway: Nasi Lemak, Mee Goreng, and Sambal Tempeh. Everything is good and the portion is big.
The nasi lemak came with a beef rendang and it is beyond great. The rice is savory and cooked perfectly plus the rendang is tender, tasty, and everything else you would like your rendang taste like. To note: there are several different version of rendang and this is one of the best.
The mee goreng exceeds my expectation as it filled with tons of things; chicken, prawn, tofu, etc. You rarely get that far even in Malaysia/Indonesia, not even with your mom cooking. Unless its your birthday, probably. Sad that it doesn't come with some kerupuk/crackers but don't sweat it they gave you so much already plus I have some at home.
The sambal tempeh is OK, I was looking for aubergine with sambal (it's amazing) but I don't mind switching to tempe bcs it is equally awesome.
All in all, trust me, this place is great. Think of a humble canteen somewhere in KL/Putrajaya/Penang or probably in Batam/Pekanbaru but add more ooomph to that. Yes, Malaysian Deli is that good. Go help yourself and buy some.
I will try nasi kerabu and laksa next time.
A must visit, hidden gem of London.
Upon entering we were instantly transported back to the hawker centres of Malaysia.
The hospitality is warm, the atmosphere is cosy, as though you have entered a friends home.
The food is delicious, frankly, some of the tastiest and most authentic south east Asian food I've eaten.
We had roti canai, rendang, fritters, and mee goreng - all of it faultless, and reasonably priced. They do BYOB for those interested
I cannot overstate how amazing this place is. Its a small restaurant so booking is preferable.
