Nice airy little place clad in varnished plywood with tables to match. Not the cheapest (compared to other South Indian places in other parts of London) but this is the West End. The rasa vadu, paneer dosa and jaggery dosa with ice cream were delicious. I will certainly be visiting again.

Incredible range of meals for vegans (ask for the vegan menu so you don't have to work out what you can have) and the non-vegans among us for very well served too. Delicious meal. We’ll be back.

Probably the best dosa I've tasted - Sagar Special Dosa. I will be back to try more.

Came here in a Saturday night with a group of 18 for my birthday, an even mix of vegans, veggies and non-veg. They were brilliant, didn’t demand a deposit or a set menu. The food was delicious and we had so much fun. At the end of the night the bill was so reasonable too so no arguments with splitting the bill evenly. Staff we friendly and attentive. Will definitely come back.

Paradise for vegetarians. Food was awesome. Except Veg Hakka Noodles which we felt were quite plain, less spicy and less salt compared to other dishes. The other items such as Idli Vada with Sambhar and chuttney were super. Dahi vada was super tasty. Along with that we ordered Bhatura (which we thought will come with some curry, but only Bhatura we got). We ordered Sambhar and pulao rice also which was quite tasty. The restaurant was very clean. Proper hygiene is maintained including washrooms which were quite clean. The was full with every region people like Local British, Indian and most of the Asian people were eating this South Indian food with full interest. We waited quite a long time for food to arrive. Later we come to know that they thought we will take full order at a time instead of one after one. Last words good tasty food (with a little less quality), nice staff, great hygiene and atmosphere maintained.

I had the pleasure of dining at this Sagar restaurant in Percy Street, and it was a delightful experience. The food was incredibly flavorful, and their wide range of dosas was a highlight. The service was warm and welcoming, making us feel like cherished guests. If you're in London and craving South Indian cuisine, don't miss this gem!

Sagar Vegan & Vegetarian Restaurant on Percy Street is a delightful find for those seeking a scrumptious dining experience in West End! Upon entering, we were greeted by a warm and inviting ambiance that set the stage for a relaxing meal. Now, let's talk about the food, including the Sagar specials we tried! The Sagar Special Dosa was an absolute delight - crispy and bursting with flavor. We couldn't get enough of it! However, the Sagar Special Uthapam was just okay - it didn't quite match the dosa's excitement. Moving on to the main course, the coconut curry was rich and creamy, leaving a pleasant impression. The use of fresh, locally-sourced ingredients was evident and added to the overall appeal of the dishes. Sagar also caters to dietary restrictions with their onion and garlic free options, making it inclusive and accommodating for all. The mango lassi was a refreshing and satisfying way to round off the meal, with the perfect balance of sweetness and tanginess. The pricing was reasonable, especially given the quality of the food and experience. In conclusion, Sagar Vegan & Vegetarian Restaurant is a lovely spot for a vegan dining adventure. The Sagar Special Dosa was a standout, and while some aspects could be improved for uthapam. If you're in West End and seeking delicious veg or vegan dishes, Sagar is well worth a visit!

Really tasty food, generous portions and lots of unique options! My only constructive feedback would be to try and implement a wider range of vegan options

Very good Dosa's! Staff seemed rather rushed and service was a little offhand and haphazard. Not a lot of atmosphere - a somewhat utilitarian interior. Gent's loos down steep stairs and not all were working. Go for the Indian vegetarian food if you are in the area, but be aware that booking through their website doesn't seem to work properly.

Food is okay, there's a lot of it with each order. Restaurant is small and staff are friendly. Moderately expensive, not much mild stuff - not good if you're not great with spice. Recommend if you just need an Indian fix.

Very good experience, The manager and waiter were very good. We liked them and the food as well. Very calm and quiet atmosphere to dine in. Recommending to all for south Asian foods. The table service was awesome. Best of luck fo the team.

Delicious food. Very kind staff. I'm surprised it's not always full. It is said that in a traditional restaurant, if the food is good you will find there citizens of the same ethnicity. Well, the vast majority of the tables were occupied by Indians. Which means that food is really appreciated. I personally stayed super excited and I will definitely be back.

I ordered to the wrong Saga and they were able to change my order to the right location and make it fresh when I got there vegan, gluten free, and free of onions and garlic. I got the Masala Dosas and they were mouth watering. So hearty. Very filling. Worth every pence. I love the atmosphere and will definitely be ordering again next time I’m in the area. Special thanks to Naitik for his hospitality (someone should give him a raise). <3

Hidden away from the main street, just off Tottenham court road, this is a really nice restaurant if you are looking for some nice hot delicious South Indian food. The Udupi style restaurant has all the delicacies that you’d expect - wide range of idlis, vada and dosas. There are fair few starters to get you going too. The service is nice and the food is great. They also do food without onion or garlic, so it is Jain friendly too. If you want something off menu, they do that too, as we got some masala chai to go with our dosas. Budget friendly, and one of the few places in central london where you can eat for less than £10 pp.

Specially I like there Shev Puri, it was delicious same as Indian chat taste feels like having in India. I had Mysore masala Dosa and Biryani amazing taste. Staff really Good. Service as well. One star is less because the quantity of biryani was not satisfactory. Otherwise it is really the nice place. 5 min walking Distance from tottenham court station.

Great selection of authentic South Indian veggie food. Good vegan options. Good value for money. Not too busy so good for catch up with friends. Dosas are great but loads of more unusual options to choose from and not too spicy (a couple of the small garnish pots were hot).

On point as always. The staff are excellent. The food is good although the Aloo Papdi Chaat needs to be watered down less. Finally. Why does the Service Charge not go to the staff. They provide excellent service. I would recommend you ask them to remove it and give the staff cash tips.

Quite a calm place around oxford circus. Average settle place. Didn't feel crowded. Tried idli, vada, panner paper masala dosa .idli and vada was good. Dosa was good too,but somehow wasn't happy with the stuffing . Chutney variety is limited. Just they serve coconut chutney. Felt lil pricy compared to other South Indian restaurants. Staffs good. Fast and clean service and atmosphere.
