V&a Cafe - London - Photo album

A great selection of savoury and sweet, I definitely recommend stopping here for a bite if you're visiting the museum! I would recommend choosing the hot food option that's made fresh, some of the other food choices have been left on the display and it shows.
Not to be missed is the V&A stunning cafe with frescoes, stained windows and great food options. Had tasty scone with clotted cream & jam & cappuccino - can't get better when surrounded by such ornate beauty. Great way to rest your feet after browsing the amazing collections here.
A very nice place to go for tea and coffee, including light lunches. The interior of this cafe is stunning, especially the main hall, seating is comfortable, prices are reasonable, coffee is very good, and staff are friendly. Very clean here, definitely a really nice place to come for afternoon tea,
I decided that @vamuseum would be the museum of this London trip instead of the other big and famous ones. Saw a few good reviews of their cafe and it was indeed very beautiful! The cake was nice and not a bad price for a museum, but most importantly it was so nice to sit and enjoy tea time and the
A wonderful cafe located inside V&A museum. The cakes are not sweet and you will definitely feel relaxed after a cup of tea or wine.
I haven't tried all the scones in London but at least among the places I've been to, The V&A cafe serves the best scone. Really decent atmosphere inside. It's quite packed on the weekends afternoon so recommend you visit early on the weekdays and enjoy cream tea.
Such a beautiful location for a cafe, there really is nothing like sitting in that beautiful room! However I found the chocolate muffin to be incredibly dry, and I wouldn’t have it again. Would probably just stick to the tea
We had the pleasure of dining at lunchtime on Sunday at the world's oldest museum cafe. What a delight! The food was superb, fresh, healthy, tasty and freshly prepared. Fabio, the maitre de, was professional and efficient and supprtive of his staff. We felt very comfortable and welcomed in a warm an
Excellent sightseeing experience. It takes a few days to see it all. It certainly is worthwhile.❤️♥️👏
Great coffee in superb surroundings but the service was so s l o w. They were not at all organised and this was frustrating, many mutterings in the queue!
Just afternoon coffee but delicious cakes, scones etc, good selection and well presented. Average price at 3.95. Lose a star for no obvious vegan labelling and maybe no vegan choice. Coffee was good. Staff seemed little disorganised but young and maybe still in training. Pleasant though. No out
My wife’s niece brought my wife, our younger daughter and I here for an afternoon tea on Friday, Nov 11, 2022. While the ambience was distinctly different, there weren’t any paradox of choices on food and drinks. I made use of the very friendly free WiFi to write this review.
Members only, but it’s an oasis of quiet within the Museum. Get a member to take you there.
Self service with different counters for hot drinks and food. Delicious salads are served as an accompaniment to various options such as wraps, crab tart, etc usually with 2 combination salads from a choice of 4. Everything looks healthy, fresh and interesting. There are also slab cakes, cheese or f
Absolutely stunning place! I enjoyed my tea and millionaire’s shortcake while listening to fabulous piano music and looking at the splendour of the interior 😍
Lovely place for afternoon tea. The scones of the V&A cafe are the best I’ve ever had. They are a must to try if going to the museum. You may be able to experience a live piano performance as there is one in the middle of the tea room
