Loved this place. Turned up at 6.30 on a busy Friday night and we got a table although hadn't booked. To make things easy we had the set menu for 2 and it was excellent. Hot fresh food bought to the with little delay . Can recommend the Pinot Noir which went down a treat. We finished with a tai che tea and although again delicious but just too much. Perhaps a small cup would be sufficient but no complaints. After all you can drink as much as you like. Thanks to waiters who were attentive and informative.
I'm a regular at the Stratford Westfield branch normally but yesterday Saturday the 12th I visited the Covent Garden branch whist on the way to a birthday treat the savoy theatre. The waitress who served must of heard us taking because at no point was she told it was my birthday. To my surprise at the end of our meal she came along with a dessert with a candle singing happy birthday to me
I would like to say thank and what a lovely gesture this was. The name on the receipt was Zsofia S a mixed race lady with curly hair. Thank you.
Fantastic food, ambience and service. Perfect for those who are new to Chinese cuisine as lots of variety. Amazing menu. Staff very attentive and happy to recommend or make suggestions . In fab location close to Covent Garden Market. Would highly recommend.
Best dim sum ever! :) Delicious food and good teas aswell.. Couldn`t stop eating even when I was full! :P The food is very fesh and served quickly.. Really nice and helpful staff and very nice interior.. definetly my type pf restaurant :D Good job guys!! (Y)
Birthday brunch on Saturday with two littlies in our group. Staff were great with the kids - brought their food quickly, provided special kid-friendly chopsticks that worked a treat, and very helpful about our choices of dishes. Thumbs up from me - food was delicious and with generous serves. Would definitely return when in London.
Had a cocktail masterclass and meal here for my daughter's hen night. We were treated wonderfully by the staff and they made it an evening to remember. Thank you all x
Great meal at their Covent Garden restaurant. Been to their other restaurants at Soho and Southbank. Busy and bustling atmosphere. Good service standards and excellent food. We went to celebrate our eldest going to University and they made it special by offering a range of yummy desserts on the house. Highly recommended.
Friendly staff who were chatty and even laughed at our poor jokes. The food was very good and didn't take long to arrive after we placed our order
This was a first visit and I will definitely be returning next time I'm in the area
Fantastic food and great service. Price; you get what you pay for. Quality food in a great location tied to great service is worth paying for.
Delicious food, Very friendly staff
a must go place!
I went to Ping Pong Convent Garden with my friends for a get together. Loved this place a lot.
The noodles and pasta was very delicious.
You guys should definitely visit this outlet.
Chegámos por volta das 13h sem reserva e havia mesa. Provámos bao, edamame, o molho dos brócolos era delicioso, dumplings. Tudo mesmo delicioso.
This place is the bomb!!
Every platter of dimsum was a delight. Notable ones being the black prawn dumplings served with squid ink pastry. It’s got to be the best dumpling I’ve tried to date. The chicken cashew dumplings, the chicken wontons were all wonderful.
My only problem was with the soupy dumpling that was definitely not as advertised. I’ve had them in a couple of other establishments and this could do with some work.
I love Ping Pong and have been to quite a few of the branches in Central London. I've been to Covent Garden branch quite a few times now. Decided to have lunch here with my friend, we had the Ping Pong selection which is always a good choice and good value for the money. You get some duck spring rolls, crispy and steamed dumplings and sticky vegetable rice. We also had the fried chicken with was tasty. The flowering tea was refreshing. They lost one star because for some weird reason the prawn toast and ribs have been removed from the menu!! Please bring them back!
Great experience. The servers were very polite, though the host at the front was a little rude. The food was amazing I ate much more then I probably should have simply because I wanted to try as much as possible. They have a wide assortment of vegan and vegetarian options. The process of ordering was a little confusing, you are meant to mark what you want on a paper menu but at one point the person taking my order didn’t use the paper but at another point they did use the paper. It was just a little confusing overall. They also recommend that you order 3 to 5 dishes. I ended up ordering 5 because I wanted to but I do wonder if there are limitations on ordering 2 or 6.
Very tasty food. However ordering can be confusing, staff sometimes forget to add everything, and portion sizes are pretty small for the price you pay - spent £40 each for 3 people and left still wanting more. However, most of the food was delicious, didn't take too long for food and drinks to arrive, and tables were cleaned quickly.
Amazing service and food as usual! I went for my 2 year anniversary with my boyfriend, and mentioned this in my reservation.
Immediately upon arriving, we were seated in a private booth-style table, and given two glasses of Prosecco and some prawn crackers on the house, which was really nice.
The servers were very attentive throughout the whole time, and congratulated us on our anniversary.
The dimsum and lychee rose cocktail was excellent as always, and especially since we went at happy hour time, was of a reasonable price.
Ping Pong Dim Sum in Covent Garden is a solid choice for those looking to enjoy some Chinese cuisine. The service is attentive and the ambiance is cozy and stylish. The standout dish for me was the black prawn dumplings, which were delicious and definitely worth trying. The vegetable buns were also a good choice. If you're in the mood for a cocktail, the rose and lychee martini is a favourite I return to every time. The waiters are friendly and helpful, making for an enjoyable dining experience.
I enjoyed my bottomless brunch experience, I liked how they have wine included as part of the bottomless brunch. I’d say the food was really good I would defiantly come back for the food. There was good speedy service for the food. I felt like the bottomless brunch was good value as you got to try a lot of food.
Prepare to spend a bit of money here. The food is so good and full of exotic flavors. We go the holiday present menu and it was fantastic. The bartender was great but one of the servers was straight up rude when she came to ask us if we got our food, I couldn't hear her as there was loud music, asked her to repeat what she had said and she rolled her eyes at me. The service is so so here but that's what you get in London. Aside from the service, the food is pretty great and they have good bar service and drinks.
The manager said only reservations for lunch but let us have a table near the door which was fine for us.
The food was amazing very flavourful and beautifully presented.
Drinks were on par and service impeccable. My new favorite next time in the Covent Garden/ Soho area
We dined as a group and had the top floor space to ourselves. Food was fresh and amazing dumplings served authentically in a steam basket. The set group menu was perfect. Esta served us and she was so friendly. I highly recommend
Absolutley loved it! This wasnt our first choice but ended up here thinking they were not busy. I was completely wrong and this place is actually bigger than what u see outside. Came to visit and not familiar with everything around but so happy we ended up here. Food was realllllly good. There was a little hiccup with our duck order but they corrected it in the end and we didnt even have to ask. Would love to go back because this place is one of the best dimsums I've ever had! We had more but forgot to take pics coz i was enjoying my food lol.
Good choice for dumplings dinner.. they have other options if you don’t want dumplings only. Duck salad was good portion and delicious. The beef Gyoza was great too. They have multiple locations.
We had an amazing time for our first anniversary! We had the lazy Sumday dim sum and Suzie hade sure we were well taken care of! Thank you Suzie for an amazing evening!
