Loved our visit last night, a party of 7, staff are so friendly and helpful, huge thank you to Juan, our waiter, who couldn’t do enough for us. Try the tortilla, it was mine and my daughters favourite, would definitely visit again when in the area.
Well worth a visit. We came with a group of 8 and the food was great. There's a fabulous selection of tapas dishes and the wine choice is great. It's busy so booking is recommended.
Genial!!!
Buenisimo todo y el trato espectacular .
Recomendado 100%100 .
Volveremos sin duda y seguro que sera pronto .
Always guaranteed a great night, with delicious food and the most hospitable service.
Un trato excelente y la comida fabulosa, muy española por cierto, muy recomendable.
Very tasty food, buzzy Sunday lunchtime atmosphere - though got a couple of seats within 5 minutes of walking in, lively Spanish music (not TOO loud!) - what's not to like!!
Great food in a great location. Very friendly staff.
Always good tapas. Love eating here when in South Kensington. Great food as good as when in Spain.
Lovely decor. Don't miss the WCs.
Food was very good for the most part. Highlights of our order were big juicy clams in white wine sauce, stuffed peppers with a deliciously light sauce which was a coulis of pureed tomato and red pepper flesh as well as the torta canarejal. This last item was a pot of melted soft ewes cheese for dipping rounds of toast, roasted new potatoes and massive capers. Heavenly. Who knew that fondue could be Spanish?
Gambas ajillo were tasty but a touch overcooked for my taste. We also had the broccoli and almonds smothered in garlicky oil, padron pepper roulette, and bacalhao tempura drizzled in honey which were all pleasant. Midmeal we ordered a basket of plain sour dough which I would recommend for soaking up all the sauces.
On the pricey side. With two glasses of wine and tap water, a big lunch for two including service came to £92.
Although all dishes we had tasted very good, the portions of some were smaller than what I am used to and I therefore felt slightly disappointed. In particular, the Patatas Bravas y Alioli and Croquetas de Jamon y Pollo left me wanting for more. I've been to tapas places which are more expensive and their portions were larger. Other dishes we had were the Pimientos de Padron (very decent portion), Chorizo de Leon, and Brócoli con Ajo y Marconas.
My friend arrived before I did and had been temporary seated on their terrace while they prepared our table. Before long, they showed us inside, tucked away in a corner with a view of the kitchen staff, which I enjoyed. The service was very decent throughout the evening. It did however take some time before we managed to ask for the bill and then another while before we could actually pay.
On Christmas Eve I had the unexpected treat of having Matthew around. As he usually works over the Christmas and New Year's period he's ordinarily in the office, but as Christmas Eve fell on a Saturday we got to spend the whole day together. It's my favourite day of the year, so it was lovely to get to share it with him.
Leave your chilled Evian at the door because nothing's more refreshing on a sunny day than Brindisa's gazpacho! The fish platter tasted like it was reeled from the ocean moments before being served. Everything comes bathed in a sumptuous splash of olive oil. The tomato toast is out of this world.
Love it! Had the chicory salad and sirloin steak for dinner. The almond cake with coffee for dessert. Service was great. Place was packed with people. Great find!
Excellent tapas, loved the tortilla with chorizo, the jamon croquettas and the selection of jamon. The staff is very friendly and I do recommend you to drink a sparkling cava with your dinner.
Wow. This is a great place to enjoy an exceptional Spanish meal. The food is traditional with fab flavours - the fish and calamari is wonderful. Worth the effort to make your way here
Actually very good but how they get a price of £12 for a rump steak tapas dish is beyond me. Tinyand nothing special. Don't order it! Otherwise good food and good service
More Brindisa. There suddenly seems to be no shortage of good tapas places to eat at around london. Part of the growing Brindisa chain this one is located just round the corner from the V&A museum - so very handy if you have just come out of and exhibition and are ready to graze!
We tried the tortilla, padron peppers (one of my favourite tapas dishes) chicken croquetas and chorizo. All were good I was only a little disapointed with the tortilla which was preprepared rather than freshly made which some of the other good tapas places do to order. But other than that its worth a visit. There is a little shop downstairs too if you have run out of chorzio at home!
Our meal at Casa Brindisa. We had a delicious meal . We started with olives stuffed with orange , which were really unusual but very tasty . Then we had some delicious hand carved ham , as good as any I have had in Spain . We had some great lentils with a goats curd that gave them a really sharp tangy flavour . We had some very tender filet steak topped with torta de barros cheese ...fantastic . we finished off with a turron mousse . I think it is the best spanish food I have eaten outside of Spain , and much better than most I have eaten in Spain . The service was good and the bill very reasonable .
We love the food at Casa Brindisa (South Kensington) where we have been to several times over the last few years for dinner, brunch, lunch etc., and every time, we want to go back for more. The al fresco seating on Exhibition Road makes the visit all the more exciting in good weather. Visits to other Tapas Brindisa locations (in Soho and in London Bridge ) and Tramontana Brindisa (in Shoreditch) are now long overdue for Not Just Vegetarian . I am also thrilled that I can buy the right ingredients and recreate recipes from the Brindisa Tapas Kitchens’!! On a busy weekday evening in Casa Brindisa in London Inside Casa Brindisa in South Ke
Last Friday some friends invited me to join them at Casa Brindisa in South Kensington. A few bad reviews dampened my excitement but I still went along, bracing myself for disappointment. I arrive at the restaurant to find my friends propped up at the chic
Sorry this gets 5 all day, slight biased as this was where i went for my first date with the now wife. But saying that the food is good so little surprised at the low average, could be due to prices but all in all not a bad place, good for a first day????????
Casa Brindisa is a small Spanish Tapas bar, just across the Natural History museum with a lovely range of Spanish cured meats, tapas and wines.
They have a lot of original Spanish cured meats and in a bid to sample a few varieties, I ordered the Charcuteria Selection. It came with iberico de sebo ham, salchichon, loin, and chorizo with fresh sourdough bread and olive oil. The platter was really huge and meant for 4 rather than 2 people.
The latte that I ordered was 2.75 pounds and quite good.
They have quite a few mains and hot starters too. Definitely worth trying.

Located just outside the Museum of Natural History in South Ken, this is a good place to go in the summers as they have plenty of seating out in the Sun. I quite liked the Vegetarian Bomba, which was basically a croquette served with lots of gravy. Overall food was good but not fantastic. Chorizo and Spanish Omlette were tasty, but served with an overly generous dripping of olive oil. Overall, a decent Spanish tapas bar.
Casa Brindisa is an attractive, inviting tapas bar just around the corner from South Kensington tube station. The cheerful yellow facade opens into a spacious interior which is invariably bustling. The tapas are simple and generally well done (the olives happen to be outstanding). For a quick mid-week lunch, the bill tends to be a bit steep, especially with wine added to the mix - but it is still worth a visit every once in a while.
One of the best meals I've ever had. From an initial cheese flight to the spectacular prawns and inky risotto... the food was excellent and the service was spectacular. The staff is also super helpful when it comes to explaining dishes and recommending the perfect wines to complement. Amazing.
We meet this place this weekend and we felt in love. The food is really nice, the waitress all the time taking care of you and good wines. We highly recommend
I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food after reading some poor reviews. Yes it's not Michelin level but you are not paying those prices. The service was very good and fast for us especially on this very busy day. Some portions are not enormous but expected for the area and economy. The tortilla was very good and good portion. It was the very thick type that I personally prefer. The garlic prawns were very good even though some may say few. The padron peppers where tasty and fresh. The gazpacho was very good to my taste and really enjoyed it. The patatas bravas fine. The black rice was on the smaller portion but fresh and well cooked. Bread and tomato was a little overloaded with tomato but that's me being picky. The only hiccup was an error on the bill but that was corrected rapidly and professionally. The only thing I thought was missing was a chicken rice paella/arroz and a good calamares frito. The only issue for me was that although there was a disabled toilet, a small step of 2-3 inches had to be climbed over and my powerchair wont do that. Actually thinking about this, eating here in winter may be harder for a wheelchair user although someone in a manual chair would very possibly be able to get over the step. Would I eat here again? The answer is yes but in good weather or if I had assistance.
The two of us ended up here without reservation. They found a table for us and we delighted in the food and vine. Every dish we tried was excellent! Each dish had its iwn sauce and distinktive taste. I wish we remembered to take more photos! We'll happily come again and bring gs friends with!
I got recommended to this place by a friend after a conversation about Spanish food. We had a drink at the bar upon arrival, and the bar tender (I believe victor was his name) was very welcoming and friendly. The dishes we got, were all really tasty. The best was Ham croquettes and Ibérico ham with their pan con tomate, Delicious! I would also like to mention Patricia (the host?) who I talked through the phone to book our table. She was really also very friendly and with great and helped us with some our requests in a very helpful and friendly manner! I would definitely recommend.
The waiters are very attentive, and the food is incredible, thank you for the good time you made us have
Fantastic meal before a show in town. We had a jug of sangria, iberico jambom, pan com tomate, Spanish omelette, beef cheek with mashed potato, and garlic prawns. Everything was delicious. The service was attentive and friendly. We loved it.
A really lovely restaurant, great food and friendly service. Good vegetarian and vegan options, at very fair prices. The olives were amazing! We were walk in guests, and the team explained in advance they would need the table for pre-booked guests in an hour or so. This was perfect as we needed a quick meal before a concert. Thank you for looking after us.
Terrific food, great wine, and fantastic service! A lovely way to spend my last night in London.
Delicious food and a well varied menu. We reserved a large table and were taken care of quickly throughout the night. They had kids menus and crayons for the kids too.
Excellent seafood, pleasant ambiance inside and outside.
One of the best restaurant experiences I had in the UK. The chicken thigh and King prawns were a choice! Try their special bread with Sangria ❤️❤️❤️
Tamara and Valentin were excellent in their service, hospitality and friendliness. Their knowledge of the dishes and recommendations were extremely helpful. All the dishes were quick, hot and well presented. We will definitely be back even if the place was a bit too loud.
Love this place. Always great service and the food never fails to impress. As a vegetarian I am particularly impressed with the range of options and as a wine drinker their list of options is delectable. If the weathers good, sit outside and soak up the atmosphere
