My favourite local restaurant walking distance. Value for money and the food is always tasty..
No doubt, the best in e17. We started going there about one year ago. From outside and the road that is in looks like nothing appealing but my girlfriend and i decided to give it a try and so glad we did. We had become kind of regular customers and never had a bad meal. The burger is simply glorious as the other specialties; when the food arrives to the table you can see the chef had put a lot of caring in the presentation and everything in the plate is cooked properly, normally gently spicy.Do not miss the desserts, specially the lemon cake The service very attentive and professional. Of all the restaurants i had been in London the quality-price is unbeatable, definitively if you are around the area and looking for a good place to eat, look no farther
A warm welcome with absolutely delicious food on offer. Veg/ fish options are superb at very reasonable prices. Portions were generous also. The terrace area is the better option as the interior lighting is quite bright. Wine seemed pricey for the area, a cheaper House wine option would be a good addition. Easily accessable on Forest Rd close to the 123 bus stop. A great night out!
First time in La Cafeteria....and boy was I impressed with the food!
Dined for lunch with neighbours as it's local and was pleasantly surprised!!
The chefs special...chicken salad is one if not the best I've ever had! No lettuce!!! Lol... seriously though...fillets if chicken...and plenty...medium boiled eggs and boiled potatoes....with this amazing dressing!

A small Italian based Restaurant that provides good food at reasonable prices. It started small but they have expanded over the years. The restaurant provides two menus, specials of the day and a set menu. You cannot go wrong with either one. They can cater for small and medium groups if you make reservations. An outdoor area is available when the weather is nice. This restaurant is good value for money and will not break the bank. A light dinner for two cost me under £40 pounds. Staff are friendly and accomodating.
I have been a regular here for a few years and they have never failed to amaze me. Their food is always delicious (especially their shawarma wraps). The staff are all very friendly and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. I definitely recommend this place to everyone.
Nice little cafe at Wood Street. It's much bigger than it looks form the outside as it extends to the back with outdoor seating.
I had the Full English with a cappuccino and it was lovely. Fresh and good quality ingredients used. Sausage was thick and full and the mushrooms were gorgeous.
I thought it was weird that it came with one egg as I thought these came with two eggs standard, and how much is an egg really to try and skimp on that.
Otherwise. Great experience and massive portions to be honest. Will def recommend and visit myself again sooon.
Came here for breakfast, but we had missed the time. Thankfully they were happy to accommodate us. Great traditional english fry. Fresh, hot food.
The chips are also 10/10.

This lovely cafeteria is bigger than it looks from the entrance. The food comes as a very satisfying portion and very delicious.

I can't believe that I haven't made a review on this sooner! I come here very often and am always very surprised with the meals. They are always very tasty and filling (in a good way). They also allow dogs in the area and staff are VERY nice! I've never had the garlic bread before and would definitely recommend it! It was very tasty and had a nice crunch to it. I had the chicken linguine, which I did not take a picture of, and it was delicious and had tasty greens too! The tuna nicoise salad was excellent, came with a two tuna steaks which were both delicious. It was a great meal size for one person! Definitely a great place to visit if you're hungry and want to try somewhere new!

Lovely food (breakfast), affordable prices and very friendly staff. Their coffee's isn't good could do with improving the quality of the coffees otherwise a lovely place to go and dine. Would recommend 😊
Amazing place! Quite a hidden gem, the place has a nice vibe and the food is amazing! My wife had lasagna and said it was the best she ever had. My place was a speciality and also delicious! But tot top everything we got the best desert ever. Some pancakes with bananas and icecream wich were amaazing. The serving was good! The waiter was firendly and nice and helped us to choosing the food!
Will come here again when we return in London!

100% must visit if you have never been before. Great variety of freshly made food. My last visit was smoked haddock, mash with seasonal vegetables with a extra special egg on top from the chef which really perfected the dish. Truely superb!!!

Excellent food and excellent service. We went for brunch as a group of adults and with children. Staff were attentive, friendly and accommodating. We have lived in the area for 3 years and never visited this eatery - shame on us as it’s a gem. We will be visiting again in the future. Highly recommend.
