Wonderfully quirky bicycle repair centre that's turned into a coffee shop and bar. Set in a goodsized shed/warehouse with indoor sitting space and a partially covered yard full of bikes and trestle tables. The coffee smelt good, but I'd had my fix earlier in the day so had a beer and a delicious roll/bap/bready thing stuffed full of veggie goodies. Great atmosphere, helpful staff.

Up in London for family wedding & 5 of us popped in for breakfast on both the mornings we were there. Was excellent! Food was freshly cooked, tasty & well presented, good choice and we felt very good value for money. Juices & coffees were very nice too! Staff friendly & efficient and we loved the layout. Good size place with plenty of tables inside & several outside. Would definitely recommend!

I was curious to see the concept of a coffee shop with a bicycle workshop. I found out that at LMNH it works brilliantly! The employees were very kind! Had a cappuccino with a croissant and treated myself to a banana Cap and a jumper..wish they will open something similar in southern Switzerland!

Great vibe to the place with good food to boot - made a point of dropping in on a recent visit to London and celebrated surviving my maiden bike ride across the city with a yummy cheeseburger before heading off to Euston station for my journey home.

I wanted to put a new frame on my bike and I had a specific budget in mind. The guys helped me find the frame and fitted everything while I was away on holiday. Going down a frame size was definitely the right thing to do and the frame is fantastic - so responsive like it isn’t made of steel! It's so nice to work with people who are knowledgeable but who also share your excitement for a project. Thank you for all the good work, your patience and advice!

I love LMNH - quiet enough to work during the daytime, a great meeting point for business or pleasure, tasty food and coffee, and an excellent event venue to boot - bonus if you like bikes!

Really cool hipster spot in Shoreditch for a coffee, snack and light lunch. It's inside a cycle shop which adds to the uber hipster vibe, and with the free wifi it's attracted quite the crowd! The coffee is pretty good, and they have some healthier options to eat for the health nuts.

Pleasantly surprised. Some good dishes and nice coffee. Place has a good buzz to it in a trendy part of town. Nice to sit outside when the sun is out.

First time visit to a cycle cafe in London. Breakfast was perfect! Ordered a fresh orange juice followed by the bacon and egg ciabatta sandwich. Chased down by a green tea. Hit the spot. Bonus that it's a cycle shop/workshop. Very busy but can always find a seat.

Cool place, great place to chill. Lovely breakfast. Yet to taste their brownie, which was supposed to be a must-try! Would come back just to do my work here and have a cup of coffee.

Really original coffee place, with a great concept! The design is based around bicycles and there are random on-theme items hanging from the ceilings or placed on the tables everywhere. It doesn't feel like clutter though because the room is really big with lots of windows that really bring light in and open up the place.

Their flat white is really great and I love the different soups they serve, especially the mushroom soup! Everything is really simple and really tasty and unpretentious.

This is the perfect place to sit down with a good book or do some work. There are plugs everywhere to charge your laptop and they play non-distracting house music in the background.

Great relaxed location. Good quality coffee and friendly staff. Let down by the lunch in my opinion, there was nothing wrong with it but meatball pasta that had two tiny average tasting meatballs and carrot and coriander soup that tasted more like makhani curry sauce. Have heard breakfast / brunch is good so will go back to try that.

Great atmosphere, nice coffee.. The service was a tad stiff, but the food was good (fresh creative salads and a yummy vegetarian scotch egg) and the atmosphere was perfect for some laptop work - solid wifi, comfortable seating, abundant electrical sockets, good music. Not too noisy, but definitely not distractingly deserted either. I really like that it closes later than most coffee shops, and I'll definitely be back.

Great coffee. Nice atmosphere. A good spot to visit in the evening for a boutique beer (or porter or stout in my case). Great on a Sunday morning for coffee and breakfast.

Felt a bit strainge not having a bike with me, it seems to be standard gear for all who partake. Had the Thai Chicken Pie with salad mix for lunch. Wow ! Great pie! I'll be back.

The name of this coffee shop is genius, very easy to remember. Besides, I've never seen a good coffee shop with a bike workshop in it.

Look Mum No Hands is a unique cafe for bicycle lovers. Its a cafe cum a bicycle workshop where you can get stuff for your bicycle or related merchandise. The ambience is quirky and totally amusing. The place is full of working people with their laptops as the cafe had free wifi. The food is really nice and yet not costly. Even if not a rider, its a great place to sit for working or for a cup of coffee.

the emerging gem around the world: have the coffee, and something passionate to go with: not necessarily in the menu but within your concept.

It might be a combination of a coffee shop with vintage clothing shop, a book shop at the back or the frequent garage sale, the affordable art displays, or a start-up center. This time, it is the bikes and the cycling all around. Does not feel phony and the venue seems quite dedicated to the cyclers of London, with eventsi workshops and any support for some repair you might need for your old friend or new hobby.

I do love the scenery from outer street, a large garden with pretty much space welcoming you, everyone looks busy on the table, and the clientele resembles that of Shoreditch hipsters.

Now I don’t know what this new obsession with bicycle/coffee shops is – is it even a new obsession? But, it seems to be the new “in” thing that’s got everyone talking.

This week’s post is on Look mum no hands; which was actually the first coffee shop I had seen/heard about/attended with this sort of sport/social vibe.

This place doesn’t take itself too seriously, I mean take a little look at the name, you do sort of imagine a child kicking both their legs out and holding their arms up in the air whilst being chased down the road by their mum. The general vibe of this place is pretty chilled, I’m pretty sure they pride themselves on this, as when I popped my head in to this place it was full of a variety of people; groups of friends, solo readers, people tapping away on their laptops, and my favourite – the business meeting.

Starbucks pride themselves on being a “home away from home”, if this independent coffee shop can create not only the same ethos but something a little bit unique, I truly believe they’re on to a bit of a winner here – and they are.

It isn’t a huge location, but when the sun is out and shining you can sit on the tables outside, absolutely perfect for the weather we’re having in London recently. Even though the coffee shop has a blended love for all things cycling and coffee, it still keeps them completely separate. The main desk for the cycling area is housed in a little cubby hole, and the only thing that has managed to filter in to the coffee shop is memorabilia; bikes, hats etc.

It was a while ago that I popped my head in, and it was insatiably grey, so I decided to opt for a nice cup of tea (yes I know, why go to a coffee shop for just a tea) – but truth is, the person I was with had a coffee so you see, you have a well rounded view of all of their beverages. Now quit your beverage bashing ways.

I opted for an Early Grey, and when it arrived it came in the absolute cutest tea pot. The person who I was with ordered a latte; both the tea and the latte were great sizes, no half measures here. My tea arrived perfectly steeped, and was absolutely glorious; my friend even said that his latte was just the right consistency, with a beautiful creaminess to it. Now, there’s so far I can go with describing hot beverages without sounding like a narcissistic bumhead, so I’ll refrain. I also had a freshly baked flapjack, which needs absolutely no describing it was the biggest flapjack I have ever eaten, and on a serious level I had a sugar rush once I finished it.

I’ve heard great things about the food there, which I am yet to try, and I’m pretty sure they’re famous for their pies – so, I guess I’ll just have to return there again…oh, what a shame.

It has a nice atmosphere. The staff are good at why they do but the cafe being so busy has had an impact on how they treat their customers, not as friendly as you would want them to be really.

The coffee is amazing but it usually takes a while for it to get ready and sometimes arrives a bit cold. For a cycling enthusiast it is THE cafe to go but if like me your not that into cycling and care more about the service that the looks of a cafe, I would say its not for you.

It gets very busy in the afternoons and finding a seat can be a challenge.

If the coffees were cheaper I would still grab one when I pass by but I believe all hot beverages are overpriced.

Look Mum No Hands, is a cool cafe for cycling fans! They have cycling on all the time on their screens, and offer some repair services. They have a great selection of home made foods which change frequently. The only downside to this place is that it is sometimes hard to find seating and can get a little cramped. It is also a little bit over priced. Definitely a cool place to hang out for a couple of hours, if you have time to kill.

Both a bike workshop and a cafe, this place manages to exceed at both. It boasts an open-concept dining room with bicycle decor and a welcoming garage door entrance, a lovely choice of fresh food & good coffee, not to mention a very pleasant staff.

Food and drinks are always good, service always friendly. Comfortable place to hang out. Inside tables are snugly placed so not great for wheelchairs but there's seating outside. Cycle races often shown, cool cycling related prints & pics up to buy and lots of local and creative publications to pick up. Wifi is very good and the line up of laptops along the window seats is proof. Thoughtfully there are laptop free tables.

A great place for two wheel lovers! Usually busy, great place for a breakfast or brunch, try the full english or the avocado toast, coffee is pretty good as well. The atmosphere is very cool, they have a nice little cyclist shop and workshop, they only negative will be perhaps the prices, but it is quite an different place so I guess you have to pay for that too. Nice little patio to enjoy during summer time too! Would recommend 100%! Felix

Amazing food, super friendly staff, the eggs were perfectly poached and the English muffin was delicious. Ordered the green detox juice which is healthy and the place is really unique and cozy. I heard they have amazing burgers at night but sadly didn't have the chance and time to go but will do for sure next time. The decoration is nice with many bicycles and a workshop inside.

The staff are amazingly friendly, helpful and genuinely nice. Just had their Vegan breakfast and it was out of this world! For those on a plant based/vegan diet, they have always had milk alternatives to suit your taste buds. You simply can't go wrong with choosing to grab your hot drink or a bite to eat at this vibrant coffee shop. It's respectable enough to bring a client or business partner or if you just want to hang out with a friend or loved one. Enjoy!!

Have to go to this place if you are a self respecting cyclist. They have excellent coffee (I just tried a latte extra large but I figure any coffee will be nice). They have a great collection of cakes and lots of different breakfast and lunch choices. I would pass by if you are into this hipster-coffee-newwave kinda thing.

This might be first bike cafe in London. I really enjoy the laid-Baird staff as well as the atmosphere when they have big screens for games. Their coffee is more at the strong side while their food offering is usually a bit heavier, great for cyclists though. Including free mags for people to collect and always open doors really makes Look Mum No Hand! feels like a meeting point of communities, such bikers, coffee lovers or craft beer enthusiasts. The only thing is it sometimes gets really packed and difficult to move even there's still tables available.

Old street is a very exciting and lively district in London with hipster coffee shop. Today I found a very interesting one for our laptoppers. The reason I like is not only their theme and style, but also the lovely staff and service, which means more. Sometimes you like a place because of the real people instead of what they offer, right? Definitely I enclosed the review here. London Coffee Shop for Digital Nomads-8 Look mum no hands! PS: The name originates from the words when every kid feels proud when they could master two wheels…haha…make sense. Category: Cycle Cafe Bar Workshop WIFI: Reliable, free to use (but you need to ask for the access code) Download: 11.6 Mbps Upload: 2.39Mbps PING: 10ms JITTER: 35ms Not too bad… Seating: A bar stool with glass window with 6-7 seats, 7-8 tables with 2 chairs each. A long sofa with 6-7 seats. Only 3 power points under the sofa. Toilet: one for unisex Ambiance: A special vibe with bicycle wheels hanging on the ceiling, like a kind of art. Very lovely atmosphere though a little small. The staff are so welcoming, especially the one named David, such a lovely gentleman and his passion could make your day! Cost: Coffee £2.4-£3.4, Tea £2.75-£3.25, Juice £3.55-£3.95 Avocado toast, porridge, English breakfast, different kinds of burger and sandwich, salad and bakery goods and so on £2.5-£10.5 Something special about the cafe: (1) On weekdays, they open until 10pm every night; (2) They provide bike fixing service. If you are freelancers who cycle, it is a place where you could meet up cycling fans and stay without worrying any bike problems; (3) They have a basement downstairs for hosting cycling related workshops and it is a good vibe to watch the latest Euro cycling race in live here. Problems: (1) Usually very busy, so not distraction-free, haha, but the music is not too loud; (2) They only have 3 power points under the sofa, so if you need to charge your laptop or phones, not convenient.

Quite a large cafe that doubles as a bike workshop although there seemed to be more non cyclists here than cyclists. The cyclists seem to loiter outside with their bikes and coffees whilst the benches inside are filled with people working on their laptops. Tables are reserved for diners but the bench seats are perfectly fine for working be there’s plenty of power points under the table top. The WiFi speed is abysmal however and a hot latte costs 2.9 pounds. There’s two bathrooms which are super roomy inside! Great atmosphere overall to work or drink. #BeatTheGrind

Literally amazing. I had the most delicious lunch and the venue is just really interesting. Really handy if you are a cyclist as you can buy lots of your cycling needs here and also use their track pump if you grab a coffee! :) A nice outside area too. Thanks!

A great little find! I walked passed this shop one evening and really like the look of the place — outdoor area and fun bicycle art work. I decided to stop by for brunch and was not disappointed! The staff is very friendly and the food was delicious! They also seem to offer a lot of fun events throughout the week. If ever back in the area I’d swing by again.

A perfect cafe to take your laptop and work, or catch up with friends over a coffee. It’s got a great grunge-crossed-cycling theme, with wheels hanging from the ceiling and hipster decor. Good fast wifi. The coffee was good, although the almond milk was way too sweet (go for black instead). Good music, great vibes, altogether a fab cafe!

This place has been on the bucket list for a good while, and with the way meetings have fallen today, it was the opportunity to pop in for a coffee, or what turned into lunch. Amazing cheeseburger with fries, the black pepper was a nice touch. Can't believe David was working here and we go back along way as he was working in the cycling cafe I used alot when I lived in Essex. Good to have a catch up with him, in what was a very busy lunch session. As you would expect live cycling is shown. Open until 2200 with licenced bar. You can lock your bike up outside on the street, or in the courtyard, recommended so you can keep an eye on it. Thank you to all the staff who are very friendly. Will return, soon.

I've been to LMNH many times for coffee but never had breakfast. It was delicious! Really liked the rocket with the full English, made the whole thing much lighter and less greasy than your standard. Portions are a good size and the cafe itself is really lovely. Will definitely be coming back. Also bonus points for dog friendliness!

This is possibly the nicest coffee shop in London. Not only is it so well-lit and cozy, but the staff is amazing. I was having such a hard day and seeing how positive they were, and how they appreciated the coffee they made, really changed my perspective for the day. Also, this is a beetroot coffee which blew my mind! So amazing!
