And now I could really do with that hair of the dog potion from a few Sundays ago when Dirty Bones invited a few bloggers down to their South Ken branch for brunch and a masterclass on how to make a very interesting Bloody Mary.
Dirty Bones is essentially an American comfort food diner. Think burgers, hot dogs, chicken and waffles. They've got two branches so far South Kensington and Kingly Court. The original in South Ken branch transforms at night into a cool retro cocktail bar with a couple of DJs (Thursdays to Saturdays) spinning sould and old school funk. This space also serves as a private dining area where you can hold bespoke events to your fancy. ...
Has to be one of the best restaurants I've eaten at in London. Service is awesome and the Fried Chicken and waffle is to Die for. Seriously worth the effort of getting there in peak traffic. The Beef Tacos were just awesome too. Service is great. Staff seem happy to wait on you. Special mention to the awesome hostess who saw us with 2 kids and got us a table albeit for 45 minutes only so that the kids could eat their waffles and chicken today when we rocked up without a reservation.
Great food... even took a doggy bag home... it's going to be my breakfast tomorrow morning
Dirty Bones London is a New York inspired restaurant and bar with incredible food. We thoroughly enjoyed coming here, especially as we were welcomed by an amazing waiter who helped us by explaining each cocktail and how they went with certain dishes! We were lucky enough to taste the Mac Daddy burger, Slow N Low Ribs, Mac and Cheese and some cocktails 🍹🍔🧀 The cool vibes at Dirty Bones makes you want to come back again! And especially knowing that the cocktails are £5 during happy hour 🍸🍸
Why did dirty bones stop doing hot dogs? They were fantastic. Anyhow the dishes on the new menu are just as good, if a little common in London these days. Went during the soft opening, so understable that things didn't go swimmingly. Service was warm and polite, everything we ordered was tasty, but a little on the cold side by the time they arrived
Chicken and waffles was delicious and cocktails were amazing. Staff were friendly and helpful, allowed us to move tables when we wanted to sit elsewhere and allowed us to order a different drink when we weren't keen on the one cocktail (not their fault, Bloody Mary's just clearly aren't for me!) Loved this restaurant and would 100% return!
SO good, will definitely come here again. The fries and chicken burger were delicious, and for £10 on a weekday lunch set, it was very worth it. The staff were super friendly and accommodating as well.
The cheeseburger dumplings were the only thing that could be improved as they were a little undercooked and lacked flavour.
Everything else was 10/10
The chicken and waffles here were absolutely delicious! So tender and flavourful. The cheesy truffle fries were also nice. Atmosphere was cosy and service was pleasant - will be revisiting perhaps in Shoreditch next time!

Unlimited Wings Wednesday is a great offer and it's halal! Gochujang wings tasted fantastic. The wings were tender and cooked fresh to order. There were 2 other flavours on offer so you can rotate between them. One of which is a monthly special. They were Frank's hot sauce flavour which comes with blue cheese sauce and this months special flavour is marmite BBQ. They are accompanied with a one of plate of hearty nachos.
The atmosphere was very lively although the music was a bit too loud as it was hard to hear the conversation. The place was full so I would recommend booking ahead of time.
The service is brilliant! Particularly one server who kept making sure we were looked after by asking if we liked the food and asked what we needed throughout. He would make sure we got it too. There was not a time where we had to wait for the next portion of wings.
Unfortunately I didn't get his name but he was of Asian ethnicity, with short hair and a neat beard with a very friendly attitude. Thank you!
We went for the lunchtime deal of burger and skinny fries for £10. It was excellent! Delicious burger and fries were crispy on the outside but still fluffy on the inside and were perfectly seasoned! Great place for visit prior to Moulin Rouge. Staff were really friendly too.
Very quick service. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We have tried the ribs (tender and juicy) with the BBQ tacos and Caesar salad. Tacos were ok. For sides we have ordered the truffle and salty-onion fries. I would recommend the truffle ones.

Went here with my dad for the £15 bottomless wings Wednesday. Very nice little starting platter. The Mac & cheese balls were AMAZING. Only two choices of wings (on the website there are 3) but they are both so good. You get a franks hot one and like a sticky Korean one. Get 9 (sometimes 10) in a portion. Wings were amazing. Very tender and had a good amount of sauce, not too much. The blue cheese dip was incredible I could have drunk it.
The only thing which was frustrated us was the service. One of the women servers were amazing and very attentive with a food attitude.
One of the male servers, I do not know if he was new or just genuinely clueless but he was not helpful. We asked him what is the max wings people have had, and he said like 2 rounds, so 18 wings. That is definitely not right 😂. Also there was multiple times he took our order for the next set of wings and he just never put it through. I saw where the computer was and he just wasn’t doing it. One time it took 20 minutes to get our next plate. In that time he had come over 3 times and asked if we want to order another, acting like we havnt already told him yes previously.
Overall the food is amazing (I saw the Mac and cheese burger and omg that looked good) but the service made it lack.
Also, big complaint. They cut the disabled cord in the toilet so it now hangs about 1.5 meters off the floor and does not have the triangle attached. I am disabled and if I was to fall in the bathroom I would have no way of getting help. It is also a legal requirement to have the call bell hanging to the floor.
What a grrreat place! I ordered the watermelon and feta salad, very tasty and made with love. Staff was very kind, great vibes. My friend had a beautiful bagel with egg and the table next to us had something that smelled even better. I haven't eaten meat in 6 years and I was this close to ordering some, based on the smell..!😍 great place to be, looking forward on visiting again.
We booked a table for 2 for 5.45pm, which gave us plenty of time before the theatre.
We had Buffalo Chicken Burgers, with sides of Crispy Lamb Fries and Coleslaw, and it was amazing. Also, they had 2for1 cocktails between 4 and 5pm, which my wife was happy about. There was no beer on draught when we visited, so had to have cans, but it wasn't an issue. They gave us a surprise discount on the bill which wasn't necessary, but a nice touch.
Will definitely visit again.
It was my first time coming to Dirty Bones, and without a reservation we were easily accommodated. We tried the Mac Daddy and the tacos. Both delicious!! Next time I’d like to try Wing Wednesday (unlimited chicken wings on Wednesdays)
Arrived and all the staff were really friendly. Ordered the chicken and waffle and the chef made it with eggs as a special weekday request. It was one of the most delicious things I’ve eaten. The atmosphere was warm and relaxed. A really welcoming and wonderful place and fantastic value for money.

Nice place, just next to the Moulin Rouge theatre. Nice atmosphere, they have the hidden look from outside. They had happy cocktails hour when we came. Food was ok but very small portions. Toilets are nice and quirky, hidden away. Nice place to visit after work, before the show. It got full very quickly.
We had a reservation, but arrived very early due to weather. The manager managed to fit us in despite being very busy, which was much appreciated.
The food and drink was delicious - highly recommend the seasonal watermelon cherry cocktail, cheeseburger dumplings, skinny fries, and fried chicken.
However, the music was so loud conversation was difficult, and service was very very slow.... It took almost 25 minutes to get our drinks after ordering them and my order for a coffee was never entered, which was only discovered after we managed to flag down another server after waiting almost a half hour. They did take the fries off our order as an apology for the mix up, which was a nice guesture.
Overall, we would return, perhaps on a less busy day!
It was my first time in Dirty Bones. We came without a booking but they easily accommodate us. Me and my friend were so impressed with the service, Harry was our waiter. He was funny and professional at the same time. He recommend for us Mac daddy and chicken and waffles, which we ordered and we were glad we did. Thank you Harry, you make our day special.

Very quick service and great staff! We got a lot of recommendations from our waiter. We enjoyed cosy atmosphere. Chicken buffalo burger was delicious and the chicken was so tender! We used the lunch menu, so the pricing was very good. Thank you for a lovely experience!
