Amazing evening and the food was more then i can describe in words.....it was melting in my mouth!
Andrei looked after us and we had the best service ever!
I will come back with pleasure!
5 * 🍀👌🤓
I was there last night for gorgeous cocktails and bar snacks. Lovely atmosphere and excellent service. A gem of a place
I've been coming here since they opened and has been my favourite place to have breakfast or just a cappuccino and croissant. People are lovely!
Last night we went there for Christmas drinks!
Looked after by great staff, really nice ambiance.
Excellente adresse personnel aux petits soins
En Suisse on devrait en prendre exemple
Best cocktails in London
Great friendly service
Exceptional food and service! The best of Italy in London!
Although I shop regularly at Duke of York Square (it’s almost opposite Peter Jones, a haven of middle-class domesticity), I’ve never been in Taschen. I love books, but I also love having time to browse and usually when I am in Duke of York Square I’m a woman on a mission, with a full shopping list. So, an invitation to meet up with a group of fellow bloggers and spend some time at the bookshop on the corner of the square, Taschen, before moving on to dinner at Manicomio seemed like a great idea.
This was a pleasant surprise. We got hungry and stumbled upon this place almost accidentally!
We ordered some olives, bread and burrata to start. The olives were very tasty, but the burrata was the star of the appetizer show! Very creamy and with excellent taste, and served unusually on a bed of prosciutto .
For the mains we got 2 pasta dishes: ravioli stuffed with pumpkin + parpadela with wild hog beef! Both were very good!
We also accompanied that with a bottle of pinot grigio.
For the desert we enjoyed a pretty tasty tiramisu.
Total bill for 2 of us was £55.
All in all good italian restaurant and will recommend you try it if you're in the neighborhood!
Stay hungry my friends!
Came here for a quick coffee. Service was faultless, seating outside was intimate and warm enough with the outdoor heaters. Coffee itself was pretty good.
We really enjoyed our lunch in the buzzing outside area in the sun under the umbrellas watching people go by😎🍷 The menu is exciting and my seared tuna salad was so refreshing and delicious👌
Mr S and I had come down to the King's Road at the weekend to pick up any last minute new shoes / dresses / bikinis necessities for our trip to South Africa. Honestly, I was so excited for our trip that I was nearly bursting at the seams. I have a countdown app on my phone that I looked at everyday, as well as checking the weather for our destination and looking at the different hotel websites about 500 times!
I'd booked Manicomio for our shopping day owing to it's perfect location, the calm oasis that is Duke of York Square, plus I fancied Italian food. For starter, Mr S chose smoked tuna which was delicious, light and not overly salty.
No, for once that's not salmon that you see, but a trout crudo served with a Sardinian flatbread topped with smoked aubergine, it was my favourite of the two starters.
Nice choices and delicious food not the best but substantial enough nice size portions of the staff are always very friendly the drinks menu is fantastic
Lovely homemade focaccia, amazing peas risotto! Quick and friendly service, pretty restaurant... A great experience overall!
I really enjoyed a Sunday lunch sitting outside, it reminded me home, having lunch in Italy sitting outside in a local square!
We ordered some prosciutto and burrata which was great.
I ordered lobster pasta which was delicious and very generous with the lobster, but way too much parsley which actually ruined the taste. It won’t stop me going back though- next time I’ll just ask for no parsley!
Popped here for some cocktails & nibbles and WOW 🤩 the cocktails are devine! Gorgeous table settings and friendly efficient staff! Covered, heated outdoor seats - you can enjoy a few drinks or grub whatever the weather! A great find & highly recommended
We just came to have coffee and desert. The place is very nice, team are excellent. Best service. We loved it.
Just to say huge thank you to Olga for making our evening so pleasant. Food & drinks were fantastic and the atmosphere was amazing. Thanks Olga, we will definitely come back again next weekend!
If I could give more stars I would, but to be fare they deserve Michelin star!! The quality of the food is unbeatable, my favourite restaurant used to be Gauchos, but they’ve definitely taken there place. I was greeted by Ronel the host who was extremely accommodating and seated us before they were actually open for dinner service. Her customer service is delightful. I ordered my favourite cocktail a pawn star and I was definitely was not disappointed. My waitress Judyta is instagram beautiful. She was extremely attentive and knew the menu so could answer the questions I had. For start I had the beef tartare with quail egg and for main I had the calves liver with mash and vegetables on the side. The service here is also something that on that alone I will be back. Adam the manager is very personable, we had good conversations and he elevated our experience. I can’t recommend this place enough so if your ever in Chelsea this is the Only place to eat and drink! I would have paid double, best £300 I’ve spent for two people including wine and cocktails. It was the best Tuesday night I’ve had all year!! Can’t wait to go to there city branch.
Upmarket Italian restaurant. Food was high quality & service very professional. Prices reflect that and the area so at the higher end. Not the sort of atmosphere for me - a little too formal - but I can’t fault the excellent food or slick service. They’ve got a big outdoor seating area at the front too.
Had the king prawn Caesar salad to start. Massive juicy prawns in a tasty Caeser dressing. For mains, the pan-fried halibut was delicious - chunky flakes of well-cooked fish, and a big piece too.
You you’re absolutely perfect last night. So accommodating and hospitable. The food I know I always good but my two guests are big in the hotel biz and they both loved your food and commmened your service. Thank you for another fantastic night. P
It is a nicely decorated Italian restaurant with a small beautiful garden. Recommend "Grilled Galician Octopus, Chickpeas, Cipolotti, Chili & Rosemary" as the ingredient combination is perfect as an appetizer. I like it as it is slightly spicy and stimulates appetite..
Pasta and risotto are ok. However, it would be better if the flavor of pasta sauce and clam can be blended into pasta. For the risotto, it is cheezy risotto. it would be better if the flavor of mushrooms can be stronger.
You get what you pay for. Elegant place to have dinner. Staff are efficient and friendly. Food tastes very good. Plenty of choices with their wine list.
Lovely atmosphere. Had to ask the waiters multiple times for a few things but it was Saturday night. Food was enjoyable and flavoursome. Cocktails weren't the best I've had but all in all a pleasant dinner.
I had the burrata to start and chicken milanese for main. Others enjoyed the lobster pasta
Had a great lunch here at an outdoor table. The service was good and the food was excellent. In particular, the gnocchi with Tuscan sausage and fennel was fabulous. If you’re in the neighbourhood, or visiting the Saatchi gallery next door, this is definitely worth a stop.
Excellent food, beautifully presented. Welcoming and attentive service. If the weather had been a bit warmer, we could have imagined Vermont in Italy... But blankets were provided just in case! A great lunch - to be repeated!
Very nice place. Delicious food, friendly and very helpful staff . A big thanks for Patrycja she's a amazing person.
I had a lovely birthday dinner in this restaurant. Definitely will be back soon 🙂
Nice place for outdoor after your shopping in the area. Food are excellent and staffs are super efficient. Always satisfied whenever pass by for lunch.
