I love spicy and grilled food. So, I tried out this outlet.
Lobed the grills.
The service was very prompt and efficient.
The staff was very active and friendly.
I would highly recommend you guys to visit this outlet.
Great selection for meat lovers, amazing taste it melts into your mouth in an orgasmic way.
I tried the burnt ends, briskets and the pork rib whole slab.
I just don't like the music playlist.
Great food & portion size. The local root beer is really good. Extremely filling. Will definitely visit again and recommend to others. Must visit.
Decided to try some good old BBQ 🍖 this game highly recommended!!
It was good and portion sizes just right, but not what I thought it would be!! Definitely not an American smoke house \ BBQ but still worth a visit!!
Earlier this year I went along to the Tower Hill Bodeans to try out some meat and beer pairings and had a pretty excellent time – so I was stoked to be invited to their Covent Garden branch for more food and beer tasting fun times. The Covent Garden Bodeans is a fair bit smaller than Tower Hill, but still with the same American vibes. Taking a seat with some fellow bloggers and London foodie types, the table was soon filled with plates, multiple beer glasses and lots of enthusiastic chat.
According to the Oxford Dictionaries: a barbeque is a meal or gathering at which meat, fish, or other food is cooked out of doors on a rack over an open fire or on a special appliance. Technically speaking, this is correct and covers most bases, but what this definition from the pedantic wordsmiths doesn’t tell you is just how many incarnations of the humble barbeque there are!
Last week I scored an invite to what is basically my perfect foodie event – BBQ and beer at Bodean’s!. Photo provided by Bodean’s. To celebrate the recent opening of the Covent Garden branch, Bodean’s put on a special food and beer pairing for us in collaboration with some of their favourite breweries.
Once upon a time not too long ago, Londoners weren’t as spoiled for choice when hankering for low and slow cooked American style BBQ as they are today. Then Bodean’s came along seizing the BBQ zeitgeist and setting a standard that’s been increasingly upped ever since. So I was happy to accept an invitation to a beer and BBQ pairing at the newest of the now quintet of Bodean’s restaurants in London for a chance to see how they’re doing after a few years since my last visit to a Bodean’s.
Excellent food and a nice atmosphere. The prices are a bit high. We were 3 people and enjoyed every bite. I recommend it if you want to try good barbecue in London.
I visited this on a Saturday and it wasn't too busy. The service was pretty good and the place definitely has a BBQ smokehouse feel to it. I ordered the burnt ends with fries and slaw and the pork ribs with pulled pork. The burnt ends were delicious so soft and flavourful and the fries were nicely cooked as well. The pork was good but I definitely prefer the beef. It was juicier and more flavourful. It all came out to ÂŁ50 quid for the two orders and one cocktail and their house pint so not bad for central London.
Tasty food, good portion sizes and great value for money.
Kids menu is absolutely brilliant; 3 courses for ÂŁ5 in central London. Loved that they had an Olaf themed milkshake, because the restaurant is opposite the Theatre where Frozen the Musical is on.
Would definitely come back here if in the area.
Would recommend ordering the Bodeans platter and the chocolate brownie is sensational!!
It was a really great place, it wasn't busy that night when I arrived here. Staff was great, food was served fairly quickly. I had been to another bodeans and this one lived up to its name. I am in the area often and would consider returning here again. I really enjoyed my meal here and would recommend it if this is your sort of cuisine.
Great food, generous size, not too loud.
I will definitely try to visit again if I'm around.
Atmosphere is nice has an American feel. We arrived early ahead of our table booking time. Waitress was lovely and attentive.
Food we have the rack of ribs which was ok just very sweet taste and highly salted.
Pulled pork was amazing very succulent followed by the chicken thighs. I certainly would order only pull porked again but avoid the chips they was dry and very salty.
Overall experience was nice and reasonable price for 2.
Food was really good, as always. Service was fantastic, 10/10. Waitress was so friendly! So great of them to do NHS discount as well.

Great food and easy to get to in London. Very classic southern style American bbq food. Brought my American fiancée here, she’s from the south, and she thought it was excellent.
So tasty, friendly staff and helpful , 100% recommended
Dropped in for dinner with a friend. Great little diner with booths as well as tables. We also made good use of the power sockets. The beef brisket was excellent and the coffee was proper. If you're looking for a good Southern-style bbq, this place will definitely do.
Delicious food and nice atmosphere. Good portion sizes and lovely service.
Didn't have the nicest welcome made to feel rather uncomfortable because we hadn't booked in was only a Tuesday around 3pm, seated at the back when all tables occupied very intrusive can hear the peoples conversion right next to you, food was the saving grace, came quickly and all tasted amazing especially the mac n cheese balls beautiful would visit again but maybe a different venue as the platter looked amazing!
Really great staff and food. We came in near closing as we had been to a show but the staff were really friendly and explained that our starters would come out as sides to our main meals. Did not rush us and the food was great!
American style place, perfect for meat lovers. It's good, portions are big on the sharing platters. Lots of meat so it's really good for the price. The ribs were my favorite. Nothing blew my mind, but tasted good, good price and fast service.
Excellent food and cocktails. Visited early Thursday afternoon and enjoyed 2 for 1 cocktails. Went for the platter with burnt end, short ribs, back ribs, chicken thighs and brisket. We also had coleslaw and jalapeño muffins. All was great, though the coleslaw was average. Drinks were superb. Service was decent but abrupt.
I did not catch the waitresses name, but she was very friendly and bubbly, and nothing was too much trouble. Very welcoming atmosphere.
I had the Chicken thigh, pulled pork and baby rack rib combo. Very tasty and a decent portion, however, I would have preferred my ribs to have been a little more tender, they wasn’t exactly falling off the bone, but then again it could be me being fussy.
The crowning moment of my visit: The waitress was very accommodating to my dietary needs, and I applaud Bodeans for providing a clear allergy list of their menu items. I have not seen this in other restaurants, and I think others should follow suit.
I look forward to visiting again in the near future. Thank you, Bodeans Covent Garden.
