Went here after a recommendation. Did not regret one bit. Really amazing food at relatively affordable prices. Service was excellent from start to finish. I had maybe 2 very small drawbacks, nothing to put me off coming back.

So we had the prawns and calamari starter which you can hopefully see you was beautifully presented. The sauces perfectly complemented the dishes. The squid was perfectly tender, I actually prefer my squid with a little more bite but that's personal preference. The prawns were amazing.

I had the surf and turf with half lobster. It did mention that it was clawless which was a shame. The waiter was really young and I asked whether the steak was a sirloin which he confirmed, I asked for it to be cooked medium and asked for the strip of fat cooked off a little longer which he unfortunately did not understand, he said it doesn't have fat. Obviously when the meal turned up it was a sirloin with a strip of fat which looked gelatinous rather than my burnt preference. The steak itself was perfectly medium and tasty. The butter sauce that came with the 1/2 lobster was amazing, both with the lobster and the steak. My only other drawback was they didn't have English mustard, but the steak tasted great so it didn't detract from the whole experience.

My friend had the whole lobster meal which unfortunately came with 2 different claws, one of which was nice and big, the other was unusually small for the lobsters size. Obviously the claws are amazing and as a restaurant they are capitalising on this by using the claws in other dishes to take more takings per dish but that is perfectly acceptable as they can offer more dishes while using the same lobsters to the maximum as it should be.

The staff were attentive and friendly, if a little young but good on them, I like seeing industrious kids using their time wisely. I will definitely go back for probably the same dishes. I will be taking my own pot of English mustard as I can't personally enjoy a steak without it. It's criminal guys, this goes out to all restaurants especially the Argentinian steak houses which server lovely huge steak, English mustard is a must for beef steak!! Back to the review, if you are a shellfish lover, this place is the one, the best place for affordable seafood with great atmosphere.

Stunning food, lovely staff who were very welcoming! Portions were great, a lovely little place with a great menu! Desserts were so good!

Wonderful experience dining at Stone & Grill. The mushroom chicken is delicious - I highly recommend it! Service was great as our waiter was fun and comical. The atmosphere is relaxing and enjoyable.

My family ate here during our vacation to London and it was one of the best meals we've ever had. The food was incredible. The atmosphere was perfect. It's such a cute, quaint little place! Our service was impeccable. We're only here for a few more days but we want to go again because it was so good!

TL:DR Loved it. Great spot for a delicious meal. I didn't want to walk far from the citizenM hotel for dinner, and luckily I found Stone & Grill just a couple of minutes across the road. The hostess/my waitress was great, and I am fairly sure she might have been the manager too? Either way, she's lovely, attentive, and super sweet. I was undecided on pasta or pizza, she made my decision for me by suggesting the pasta coupled with their cheesy bread. Fantastic recommendation; both my bolognese and the cheesy bread were delicious. Based on the bread, I'm fairly certain their pizza is probably amazing too. Next time.... The restaurant is decorated with a ton of plants and greenery, which always makes me smile. The music was some woman singing light jazzy versions of pop songs, perfect for knowing all the words without being bombarded by music you have to shout over. The couple next to me said it was their third visit to Stone & Grill on their trip, and they've eaten something different each time, all delicious. Solid additional endorsement.

Really spacious and comfortable. Service was good and hospitality was fantastic. Stayed a little beyond closing (didn’t even notice we were that comfortable) and we were not chased out or bothered. Appreciate that a lot. Good spot for a meal and catch up.
