I have visited this place yesterday for my Birthday lunch.I loved this place the food was so fresh hot and delicious the lamb chopps was so tasty and makes you want more !I have reserved the table already for my next visit.I recommend this place 100%
I went to Sahara on a Saturday night for dinner with my friend and I have to say the service and food is on point. I'm not from East London so it was nice to be amongst my people. The dining experience was authentic and real, everything I look for when I'm eating out. Highly recommended!
Very pleased to hear that a group of revert sisters had a pleasant evening yesterday at Sahara Grill! My sister and her best friend are absolutely over the moon for the lovely reception they had, after requesting SG to donate a little bit of food (but turned out to be an amazing dining experience) for a very charitable reason - helping revert sisters come together and dine with sisters during this blessed month to avoid eating alone - and I couldn't be more happier for them! Thank you Sahara Grill for giving them much more and allowing them to dine like normal customers at your restaurant! I've been Sahara grill over 5 times and every time I've been I enjoy the food and the staff are very friendly.
Service and food was great first time I been and it was a very fast service.

I had lunch at Sahara grill with my husband and daughter yesterday and we all enjoyed it so much especially there spicy wings it is delicious.
One of the best steak places around in London, if not, the best. Regularly order T-Bone Steak with cheese on top, which never disappoints, the onion gravy which comes on top is excellent and goes perfectly together with the steak. However, the potion is chips accompanied with the steak is pretty small. Their chicken tenders are great. Will definitely recommend.
Been here a few times, great for food and service. Great place to take your family, it is pricier than other local restaurants but we'll worth the extra money.
My family have been regulars at most of their branches and whilst it's a tad expensive - the food & service is great.
For starters we went for lamb chops which are amazing, chicken wings which were a bit hard and scampi.
For mains, we ordered the Sahara chicken platter which was excellent and the mixed steak sauté which was ok.
I'm a big fan of their steak chips and chilli sauce.
The orange juice was completely fresh & lovely.
Would definitely be back.

The food in Sahara Grill is amazing, I ordered grill chicken with steak chips, the portion was big, well presented and tasted great. Staff were very friendly and helpful. So if you want good food Sahara Grill is the place to go to!
Came here with a friend as they roccomended this place as they have eaten here before, the starter was lovey greek dip with pitta bread, mains I had the tipiloa grilled boneless fish with mash an veg it was beautiful. Then desert had the mango and that was lovely also my favourite was the coconut Ice cream the fresh orange juice was lovely also. The staff were polite an friendly.
SAHARA GRILL is a place that definitely needs to be checked out, the staff were professional and helpful and the waiting time for the food was so quick! The food was spicy and tasty great flavours, good big portions. I give this place a great big thumbs up!!@
Beef T-bone Steak w/ Caramelised Onions, Picante Gravy, Salad & Chips: 17.95 | I saw a lot of people comment on how great the Sahara Grill steaks are and so tried it for myself. I got the T-bone steak and asked for it to be well done. In my experience, there was nothing spectacular about it, it was normal but tasty. The chips were nice and crispy and accompanied by the salad, the three things were a nice combination. Overall, it was a great meal but lacked the "oomph" that people kept going on about. Was my first time visiting this place and I was really glad that I did go, beautiful lighting, a calmed atmosphere and the food was really good!

I have visited this place a few times now and have tried some different things. Overall the food tastes good and the service is good as well.
Of the starters I have tried the wings and chicken tenders. Both of these taste good but I don't think they are value for money as they're very pricey and therefore I don't order these any more. This is especially true for the chicken tenders as these are basic chicken strips priced at around £1.35 per strip.
The burgers however are a great option, they taste great and are reasonably priced. Definitely would order these again.
Their beef and lamb steaks are absolutely delicious (I haven't had better anywhere else). The sauce and marinate they cook it in works brilliantly with both meats, it really is just amazing.
The Sahara chicken steak is another very good option. The chicken is nicely flavoured however I would prefer it a little more moist (but that's just a very minor issue for me). This is served with chips and very nice and creamy coleslaw.
Their chips aren't great, they seem like packet chips that draw a lot of oil which means some of the chips are very crispy and filled with oil which isn't pleasant to eat.
The chicken fajitas, priced at £10.15 tasted good but are heavily over priced in my opinion. The tortillas did not seem to be fresh ones and there was just about enough filling for two wraps. Tasted good but definitely will not order again as it should really be priced in the £7-8.50 range.
Overall they have a lot of good stuff to keep me going back and I still want to try their flame-grilled chicken and fish. If you fancy a great steak this is definitely the place to go.
Tasty food, best part was the chicken wings and lamp chops, coleslaw was a little too sweet for my liking however over all was pretty good. One to visit!
I have visited other branches of this place a couple of times, but it was my first visit to this particular one. The food here was very well-prepared and was absolutely delicious. The customer service is also great and they cater to all the needs of the customer well. The ambiance is outstanding, along with being warm and cozy. Will definitely come back again.
I, along with my colleagues, recently went there and it turned out to be good bet. The décor was quite good with an Asian feel to it. The staff was amiable and the service was top notch. We had grilled chicken along with chips. We also tried a few other dishes all of which were very well-prepared and presented. The food was an absolute delight as well as the prices charged were in a fairly reasonable range. Overall, we had a good experience and would be definitely coming back.
I have been a regular here at the restaurant for quite some time now. the food has always been great. However the restaurant has increased its prices by a good proportion and now it is ridiculously high for the service one gets. I shall not visit again since it is no more reasonable.
I recently visited this restaurant and had a nice meal. I had two main courses and a dessert. The entire meal was a wholesome one and I felt it was a great value for money. This place also hosts some nice music and I am pretty sure that you will have a good experience if you are planning to visit this place some time.

Pros:
1) Firstly the appetiser was lamb chops and that first bite was soo good, the seasoning was on point and they were cooked perfectly. It was presented on a sizzling plate with some caramelised onions. The onions were just a little bit too sweet
2) After that, my porterhouse steak arrived and it was 9/10. Cooked to medium, the meat wasn’t too chewy, the flavours banged, I just wished the gravy was given on the side instead of poured on top. I swapped the normal chips for cheesy chips but they should have more cheese on top.
3) The chocolate pudding and custard was 👌 9/10 , tasted good but I was too full from the steak to properly enjoy it.
Cons:
1) A girl behind us wanted to order medium rare steak but the waiter was pressuring her to get medium, sounding forceful and saying how it’s raw inside (which is the whole point of medium rare 🤦♂️ ) . Her friend thankfully encouraged her to get what she actually wanted but the waiter shouldn’t be doing that
2) The ground floor felt kinda cramped, if it was more busy, you’d be very close to other other people eating and there should be some background music or something. If a crying baby was in the restaurant, your whole experience would be ruined max The basement floor looked good but wasn’t open for the early service

I've been here a few times, and it's ok. The food is not bad and service and deco good. Had the T-bone, well done, and BBQ burger. Although the burger tastes good, the presentation needs to be much better. Something simple like grill lines on pattie will make a lot of difference or the source to be put in a fancy way. Since it's opened, I don't think anything has changed. It will be good to see maybe a deco wall or add a few new items to the menu (maybe make it seasonal), but maybe why change things when not needed.
The sitting area is in the basement for this Shara grill place. The chicken and lamb chops are always delicious. If spice is not your thing then go 'medium' hot. Waiters and friendly and always nearby. Prices have gone up again! But if you love your chicken dishes then it's worth it. Parking is restricted but available on side roads. They are open till 11.30pm!
Been here many times. I always order the cajun steak. The food is always brilliant.
This time I ordered the lamb fillet steak which was cooked to perfection, one of the most tender meat cuts I have ever had.
Service provided by Omar Chaudhry was exceptional from recommending the steak to checking in on us throughout our meal.
Nice decor and lots of seating available. Would recommend making a reservation if going with family or a large group of friends.
Definitely recommend and will be revisiting again soon.

Went London and needed a place to eat
This was 2nd rated halal restaurant and was close by so we attended

Ordered a few things to try out as I had no idea what to go for.
The Sahara XXL burger was genuinely amazing. Soft and tender and honestly melted in my mouth. Would say one if not the best burger I've ever had. Would definitely recommend
The full chicken was nice although had a tangy styled flavour to the end which I'm not a fan of usually, however was still really pleasant and wasn't overbearing in any regard. The Tomatoey-Chili sauce was really nice and gave the chicken a little extra kick.
The dirty chips we got both styles and Sahara Chicken definitely better the other one gave off a gravy smell/taste. We had both and we liked them. Is my first time ever trying this place. If I return to London would definitely try again.
The place was very nice and cosy and the staff were helpful and overall enjoyed my experience

We booked a table for a large party and didn’t know that they served no alcohol, which was a bit of disappointment for those who were looking forward to having beer with grilled meat.
Grilled meat was all tasty and so were the starters.
It’s in the basement and a bit dark. As we were a large group, they gave us a large table.
I probably won’t choose this place for a large party with people of diverse backgrounds. It will be fine if no one drinks alcohol.
My Favourite Steak Place. Food always taste great! Mushroom Sauce is a must! Delicious!
First time eating here on Monday evening with friends hence why it was quiet had ample tables available. Liked the deco, atmosphere and food was lovely, fairly priced 5 of us had two platters, drinks and one starter cost £105. Highly recommend you try beef saute platter and chicken platter.
I had a good experience at Sahara. We had Mediterranean cuisine and it was delicious! The staff at Sahara are also lovely and friendly. The customer service was great too. I enjoyed my meal and time/money spent. I’d recommend.
Food was delicious and came out quickly. Waiter expected us to order as soon as we sat down and was rushing us to order which was annoying. But the food made up for this. Will deffo visit again. The dynamite shrimp was amazing.

Usually busy, but is nicer when it's quiet. Seating upstairs and downstairs.
Can't go wrong with the burgers if you're not looking to experiment, pictured is the Mex.

Wow. What a nice restaurant. Service provided by Zakir was exceptional. Food was absolutely excellent. We especially liked the half chicken, curly fries, burger, and fish tenders. My granddaughter actually asked, "Why is this burger so good?" We asked, and it's the secret spices they mix with the beef.

Sahara Grill Whitechapel has very friendly and polite staff. We went there for a family dinner. I ordered lamb leg steak which was one of the most tender meat I have ever had. Most of us had rice instead of chips which they were happy to accommodate. It was delicious but a bit over-priced for what you receive. As we left, it started to get very busy, as they do takeaways also.The service was swift and we were not kept waiting. Overall, it was a lovely dinner and good portions of food but they could do better on presentation. Also they do not sell alcohol.
