Best sushi I have ever had, and whoever thought of mini croutons in a hand roll is a genius!

Sashimi portion is a shame! But temaki is why you are here. No alternatives even they offer more known 'maki' version. Have one or two cones for you and don't share with noone else. Miso soup is great too!

They don't have any beers or wines, bring your own.

So, Miss R and I gathered for our (almost) daily gossip break and zoomed into Yoobi on Lexington street to try some of it's, now infamous, temaki (sushi hand rolls). They also serve up the hand rolls as maki and have a selection of salads, sashimi and soups to accompany your meal. It's been around a year now, and I'm kicking myself to not have discovered it sooner... The modern, simplistic 20 seater restaurant also serves take-outs and on this particular day there was a small queue forming however all seemingly were being served quickly. We grabbed a menu, found a seat chose in under 30 seconds and went up to the counter to order. The menu is made up of a selection of around 12 different variations of temaki's, which can also be maki rolls for a small extra fee, tuna and salmon sashimi and the salads. There's a cold fridge for drinks and some snacks.  We then were back at our seats and served within 5 minutes... perfect for us hungry girls with less than an hour to spare, and oh so muc

Yoobi promises ‘sushi with a Brazilian twist’ as well as “the highest quality natural ingredients; from our own rice blend to the finest sustainably-sourced fish and from fresh wasabi to locally sourced vegetables.“
First impressions upon entering the restaurant in Soho’s Lexington Street were good, although it has a minimal vibe it’s much more Brazilian than Japanese with it’s bright colours and fiesta music playing.

A clean, funky space; swift, friendly service and decent, freshly made temaki! What’s not to love? I’m not going to say which was my favourite; go and taste for yourself!

this very little place in the heart af soho is a gem !
Inexpansive and very tasty. The fish is fresh and very quality.
The spicy tuna temaki is probably the best i ve ever had.
This concept bring from brazil is very friendly and nice even if sometimes the temaki is difficult to eat.
The mocchi are also very good.
Defeintely a place to try !

A sweet unknown surprise in the centre of Soho,if you like temaki (the cone version of a japanese maki) you will love this place!
The menu offers few, but delicious, temakis, mostly around salmon and tuna. I personally recommend the salmon with lemon flavour one and the spicy tuna, it really has a spicy sauce!
The service is very nice and they prepare at the moment fresh temakis.
I really suggest this place!!!

Very good fresh sushi, definently recommend sashimi and nigiri those are the best. Their wasabi is also amazing. The prices are fair for quality but being a sushi place don't expect to eat cheap. Go early or book in advance this place can get crowded really quick.

What a great finding! This may not be the best sushi you have ever had, but if you are in the mood for sushi, and you want to have something better than the usual "fast-sushi" chains, without paying a lot more, this may be your place. Another thing worth mentioning is that they have temaki (the seaweed and rice cone with fish inside), which is not usual, and they looked really good. The sushi was done at the moment of the order, in front of me, and it was super fresh and light in the stomach. I would recommend trying the ones with fresh wasabi, as it's something I love and that you won't find everywhere!

Perfect for a light snack. Nice little place off the beaten track a little. Nice hand rolls only negative is the sashimi didn't seem to be high enough quality to hold its own in terms of flavor, would come again though.

This little sushi bar doesn't have an extensive menu but what they do have is some of the freshest and most delicious rolls in Soho. They specialise in assembling tuna and salmon into both traditional and newly thought out mouthfuls of flavour. Veggies can rejoice as they make a series of fish free treats as well. The roll with sun dried tomatoes is a must have for anyone that likes food. They don't serve alcohol, but do have a lovely selection of teas to accompany your meal. Service is a bit touch and go, but you'll get what you want in the end.

Delicious sushi - perhaps the best I've had in London, and I'm not quick to praise sushi. Try the spicy salmon maki.

Best Temaki in London! From traditional ones to very different but delightful combinations. Option of makis as well. Miso soup is delicious. The fish is always fresh, as well as the other ingredients. 'Citrus Salmon' is far my favourite, and I love the effect and texture of the tobiko on it. Extremely affordable for the sizes. Highly recommend to temaki's lovers like me!

Tasty, quick, affordable sushi in the heart of SOHO. This is one of my "go to" lunch places when I'm visiting London. Note there's an additional charge if you dine-in (as opposed to take away).

This is a great place for lunch if you're working in Soho and want some good quality sushi and want to splurge a little. It's famous for it's hand-rolls, but I really enjoyed everything they have since their ingredients are very fresh. But beware my male colleagues had to get seconds because it's really not enough to get full, so it might be too expensive if you have a big appetite. I also commend their decor: modern, stylish and minimalistic, it's a great place to bring down-to-earth clients who appreciate good quality food and design. Can't wait to come back here!

Consistently good Sushi at a fair price. Take away is quick, sit down is nice also, in a canteen kinda way. Simple menu with good stuff on it. When we had a sit down evening nosh-up there was a mess-up with our order - no problem, some free drinks provided to say sorry made up for it. A++ Would eat again, etc.

Lots of very tasty hand rolls with an interesting mix of flavors. Definitely not a traditional japanese place, but it was very tasty. They also have lots of nice veggie options, although the hand rolls with cheese were a little weird. Everything else was on point though.

Great lunch choice. Loved the miso soup which had edamame in it (great touch). Ordered the crispy prawn roll (8pcs) which was delicious but I wouldn't describe it as 'crispy'. I thought maybe the prawns would be in a crispy coating but they weren't. The wasabi wasn't hot enough for my liking. I would still recommend and I would eat there again.

It's a nice gimmick overall, the fish is of good quality. The nori could be fresher, but for this cheap you really can't complain. It's also nice to hang around after you're done, which is more than can be said for other cheap sushis in London.
