A wonderful little place serving freshly prepared delicious food. We were lucky to get in as it’s very small. Not so with the food portions though - very generous!

Because I tell you , I would be just happy with only their HUGE bread, and use it to scoop up their unique hummus . (careful with the bread because comes straight from the oven)
I have tried all their meats, they are HUGE skewers that are grilled on fire , not electric grill.
Not a big fan of rice but in this restaurant, I eat it !
And the salad is just WOW .
All meats can be ordered with bread, rice or salad .
There is no alcohol but you can bring your own.
A word of advice , careful on weekend evenings as it gets packed and there are only about 30 seats available and you might have to wait . I got to wait even one hour on Saturdays .

The real deal here is the food - so authentic, so utterly scrumptious, so worth the bread! Their special giant bread comes straight from the oven and you will not be able to leave even a crumb behind. As a health nut I never eat bread, but this was certainly worth it. Their dishes are simple but tasty, all authentic Persian flavors and big portions - you can actually eat a healthier meal here if you skip the carbs and just have protein and salads. Price is super reasonable, staff are friendly and food comes out quickly. It has a very casual dining atmosphere - very small and basic but the food is what stands out here. Highly recommended.

Well this place isn't the most comfortable for decently sized people like myself but I can do away with all the comfort for a portion of their chello kebab with the big special bread. Highly recommended if you are looking for something in the area!
I am impressed what you can find in London in an approximately 15 sqmts of area. These guys deserve an applause to create an amazingly warm and cosy atmosphere in such a small space.
They have even got their open kitchen in that space it just left me wondering with the efficiency with which they are able to execute their plans.
Food is good and delivers to the point. Its not exceptional but I love the ambiance of this place. You must experience this place at night and try the huge rotis!

The big special bread is indeed so big and so so special. It was about the length of .. My fingertips to my my elbow. I watched it being made and when it arrived it was so fresh and soft and smelt so good I could barely pause from stuffing my face with it, dipping it in hummus.
We ordered the chelo kebabs and they were wonderfully grilled with a dash of butter on the rice and tasted like perfection.
The ambience of the place is homey and so welcoming. A true tribute to Persian culture and dining.

This place is value for money. The food is awesome and so is the ambience. Its a small little eatery and they use every inch of space in the restaurant. Top tip: never order hummus from an Iranian place its not good (coming from a person who has lived in Dubai for 15 years, trust me).
I order the minced lamb which was out of this world. Haven't tried any of the other dishes as Koobideh is my favourite Persian dish. Definitely worth a try if you are around Edgware road.
Delicious simple food beautifully cooked and presented. I recommend the bread and grilled whole baby chicken. While there I heard other customers praising the yoghurt and special lamb. The restaurant is small: eat next to the kitchen on the ground floor or climb the stairs to the first floor where there's a tad more space. A word of warning about the big bread -- it's almost as big as the table! If you don't have a big appetite order a small one. Lunch for two including a big bread and hummus to start, 2 main courses with rice and tea cost £24. Cash only, they don't take cards. The toilet on the first floor was spotless with hot water, soap and paper towels.
A last-minute meeting (and a long one to boot) in the middle of the day scuppered our plans for a jolly of a day: it was the day after meeting a big deadline and we were in the mood to celebrate. It was mid afternoon when we got out but all was not lost. Our close proximity to Edgware Road had us skipping down the road to Patogh for a late lunch of Persian kebabs. I've been a big fan of Patogh but hadn't been back in a while; luckily, nothing seems to have changed about it. It's still dark and tiny with a smokey ground floor with its open kitchen and a less smokey first floor and we chose to sit in the latter. The portions have also remained large, as they were before, and we skipped starters and went straight for the mains. An order of kebab koobideh with bread (£6) resulted in this being brought to the table. Two tender minced lamb kebabs lay nestled in a large flatbread all topped with a small onion and herb garden. Try as we might, we couldn't finish the huge circle of fresh bread
I make sure to have a meal at this place whenever I'm in town. I have known about this place for a couple of years now. The place serves one of the best Persian Kebabs I have ever had. The sea bass and the lamb is also very delectable. The food quality is excellent and the service is prompt.
I, along with my friends, went there for dinner. We had to wait for a little while before finding us a table. The starters as well as the mains were quite good and I recommend you all to try their feta cheese whenever you visit this place. The atmosphere was quite a lively one and the prices were modest.
This is in the list of my most favorite restaurants in this city. I keep coming back to sample their great food quite often. They serve some really good kebabs. The prices have been affordable too. I would highly recommend to try their big special bread which is cooked fresh whenever some one orders it.
This place may not look very nice and may not be very pricey and posh, but the food served here is of the topmost quality. In my opinion, that is what matters in a restaurant. It is one of those places which you would just pass by because the exterior is not inviting enough. Contrary to the exterior you will want to visit this place again and again for its delicious food, excellent service, simplicity, the amazing variety being offered. You name it and you have it. An authentic restaurant that serves hummus, kebabs, skewers and delicious breads in a jiffy. The service is impeccable and the prices are very cheap. The food is a steal and i cannot recommend this restaurant enough. The meat is done to perfection. The restaurant does not accept cards that might be a problem though.
This is a little and quaint place that serves conventional Iranian cuisine. There is a very small seating area on the ground floor and the food is also cooked here. They have another upstairs level. The place is very cozy and homely. It feels really nice to be here, and the service is also quite nice and friendly. We had mixed starters, and lamb for main course. The portions were quite big, and the prices are reasonable. It is definitely worth a visit.
I have been a regular at this place since childhood and the place has never disappointed me! The food is of top quality made with fresh ingredients and taste traditional! The portion size here is pretty humongous which makes the place good value for money.
This is the perfect location for large parties and the ambiance is really energetic! The decor is in perfect tune with the Iranian cuisine and the service very hospitable.
Be aware this place does not serve alcohol but you are allowed to bring your own.

The restaurant served us with delicious lamb. Our only dilemma was to take rice or bread. we were confused about what would accompany the taste better. In beverages, i had the black tea which was perfect. The service was friendly and helpful. in all, the food served was well worth it. the prices were quite reasonable.
Do not go by the size of the restaurant .This one is a little bomb! I especially love the place for its healthy range of options and the Iranian cuisine on offer. The food is prepared right in front of the customers which is really interesting, The service at this place is very consistent and of top class. If you are dropping in , do not forget to try the mint yogurt! Love it!
This is a very nice little place that is located quite obscurely in a busy street. It is quaint and small, but it feels very warm and welcoming. They have another seating area upstairs. The food served here is amazing and delicious and the prices of the food are really economical. I ordered the chicken which was served with saffron rice. The hummus with pita bread was particularly delicious. It is a flawless place, and I am definitely going again.
I, along with one of my friends, recently visited this place. I must mention that this place is quite authentic. We ordered kebabs and the flavour was of top notch quality. For the starters, I had a platter of pickles whereas my friend ordered hummus with house bread which was very large though she only ordered a small one. I also had yoghurt drink which was very different from the one I had tasted at other restaurants. This restaurant is generally baby-friendly but when we reached their we couldn't find any chair for the little one. That is the only downside of this restaurant.
This place has definitely created a room in my head as a favorite. If you happen to be an italian love then you would definitely end up loving this place. The food quality is brilliant and very authentic. They are pretty generous with the portions and the food served is fresh and delicious. The staff is very friendly and pleasing and their service is amazing and efficient. The environment is cozy and very comfortable so you won't sense a discomfort here. The place is most likely to be fully booked so my advice to you is that might as well make the bookings prior to your visit to avoid the queues. Recommended.
This place served amazingly tasty food, and at very economical prices. The Persian food was so genuine and authentic, it was a testament to the expert skills of the chef. Since we had to cut our first visit short due to some issues, they gave us a complimentary serving of hummus as an apology. The paneer was delicious, and the lamb with saffron rice was even better. Being a BYOB, it is a great bargain.
Visited this place due to a craving for kebabs. This place offers wonderful kebabs which taste heavenly and even the sides like the bread are quite delicious. This place is pretty reasonable which makes it all the more attractive. The one thing which can be a problem is table availability. The place is quite small and can be packed easily. Thus, before going for this it is better to reserve a table beforehand.

This is a bring your own beverage place.I advise one be ready for a long queue as the interiors are very tiny and the place is generally jam packed. The menu too is not very extensive and there is small variety of dishes available.The food though of good quality and the prices reasonable.

I consider this place to be a concealed low key wonder. The interiors although small are pretty good ,an important feature is that they have an open kitchen and so the food is prepared right in front of your eyes.

This place is owned by a family. A tiny pretty place to go grab a meal from your monotonous lifestyle. The pricing that has been done is very reasonable and very pocket friendly. Its a very tiny place so I wont really advise this place for a huge group but a group of three to four would definitely work and can for sure have a great time. Must visit.

It is a small place which is run by a family and they are doing a pretty good deal. The staff is amazing and very friendly. The food is pretty incredible and the best part is it is not that expensive too.
I would surely recommend this place because the flavor of the food that you are going to have will blow your mind away.
The place is a little small and one has the option of being seated next to the kitchen or upstairs, where a little more place is available. The food here, is delicious to say the least and the presentation of it is commendable. My personal recommendation would be the whole baby chicken and some bread to go with it. Remember to take cash with you, as they do not accept cards.

Patogh is my favourite kebab restaurant! It's a tiny restaurant so if you come around 7.30 on weekend, be prepared to wait for a while. I have always ordered the special big bread which they baked just before serving and lamb kofta with rice (or salad or another bread). And I have always ended up feeling so full after dinner...

I suggest you to choose their chicken wings which can be served with bread or rice to accompany the dish. Indeed, what is good about the place is that with one course you can be satisfied and have a complete meal.
The atmosphere is nice and affable. The prices are very good, 20 £ maximum.You do not need to check availability before going, but the place is usually quite busy …so you might have to wait!
Only get Koonideh with bread as it is their speciality. I have tried the rest of their menu and trust me, koobideh with bread is by far the best one although it's not usually my choice. The bread is very much like naan but nicer.
Its small but cosy. Don't expect high level of service but the staff are nice and friendly. You would have to queue during peak times but it is worth it. Really good value for money.

Super lovely small restaurant, really good option if you are in the area. Mist try the House Bread and the Hummus. Really good meaty options and not much veggie, but still really worth trying it. It’s cash only but there are a few ATMs around the area.

Unbelievably value. I had kabab with rice and salad. Cost of meal only £10. My wife and son had chicken wings and lamb pieces. They were £10 each. With high inflation, I would have expected to pay more. Place little cramped, but grill food was perfect and tasty
This was a fantastic mixed kebab.
The meat was so juicy and the portion was very large we didn’t feel hungry.
Even though they were really busy I only had to wait about ten minutes.
Service was friendly
Just remember to take cash.
My only gripe is £2 for a can of Coke which I declined but that aside I will def come back
Yes!!! Authentic, tasty, and great customer service defines the place. Ordered lamb kebabs, chicken kebabs, large naans, and mixed plate. Food came out piping hot, tasted delicious, and hit the spot. Food is freshly prepared from the bread to meat since they don't cut corners. Only two negatives: they take cash only, and the place is a little small. Other than that they are a good place to get some Iranian cuisine.
