The Hayden Pub & Rooms is an excellent place to stay for a few days in London. One of the great aspects is that you can rest in quiet rooms, and you can also enjoy the bar and the pub's kitchen. The kitchen offers a variety of traditional English dishes and delicious beers and cocktails.
The room prices are reasonable, and they even offer a discount on your next booking. I noticed that the services and the level of attention are superior in this hotel compared to others in the same category.
I highly recommend this place if you're looking for a pleasant place to stay in London!
We went there just after we arrived in our hotel nearby. We were tourist from Germany and had to eat something. So we found this. The food was delicious and the service was amazing. A very wholesome woman was our waiter and she cared really much for us. After we payed she came up to us and showed us an app to help us to get around London. This app saved us so much. We couldn’t have had such a beautiful vacation without this app and this wonderful woman. After three days, we walked passed it in the evening and she even greeted us from across the street and smiled :)
So wonderful. Totally recommend!!!
Just rating the food & service. Service was great; had fish& chips and sunday roast. Would've preferred the potatoes and carrots to be cooked a bit better, the rest was quite good. Loved the fennel in the batter of the fish. Not sure if that's classic, but it gave it a fragrant taste.
We enjoyed our time at the pub. We were looking for real ale, but unfortunately they were cleaning the pipes that day. 🫤
Yet, we had a good beer and a lovely dish of pie, mash & gravy.
Great pub, lovely rooms, happy friendly staff, yummy food and excellent location.
Stayed with my partner. Great area for walking to attractions, Hyde Park, Portabello Road within an easy level walk. Loved our stay, hope to stay again.
Like the decor and food (although food quality had temporarily fallen after a chef change) + I've been there several times but still cannot call it my regular, neighbourhood spot because 1. The service is horribly inconsistent and cold depending on the night (e.g., 20 June was great but 17 June was bizarre). By now I even know the name of a few of the regular staff (the others keep changing), but they never greet me in a friendly / familiar way 2. Music is always so loud and when I once requested for it to be put down, they made excuses instead of being considerate and agreeing to look into it. It simply doesn't go with the setting when eating food and doesn't allow for any quality conversation. Again, this has been inconsistent (within the last 2 visits alone).
The staff was very friendly and the room exceeded our expectations. For reference, we stayed in Room #2 which looked like a loft to me. The front door leads into the bedroom area with stairs, to the left of the front door, opening up to the couch/desk/mini-fridge/bathroom area. The bathroom is spacious with a tub/shower. Rooms 1&2 are separated from the other available rooms which appeared to be located up another flight of stairs. We never saw the patrons staying in the other rooms but we could hear them pass by at times.
We ate at the pub twice (my favorite dish was the fish and chips). As expected, it got busier as the night got later so it was nice to be able to just go up to our room and relax.
There's a Costa up the street, a Sainsbury nearby and McDonald's/Tesco/Boots closer to the tube.
This was my first time going to England and I can't wait to go back :)
We stayed at The Hayden Pub for one night and it was great! Charming, extremely clean and despite being above a pub, it was very quiet. The rooms are well decorated and the bed was comfortable. It’s in a great location, surrounded by restaurants, bars and coffee shops in Notting Hill. Highly recommend if you like boutique hotels!
The boutique hotel has new bedrooms with a great shower and bed. The staff and manager extremely hospitable. Room included many extra touch amenities such as Netflix, water, and even a delicious chocolate bar. The proximity to tube lines and both parks and city was ideal. Wonderful experience.
Love westbourne grove and this is one of the easiest places to chill and have a drink in.. I've never used their special hotel rooms though.. staff and service always friendly without a doubt
