I've had a magnificent experience last night at Olivo restaurant. The food is exceptional traditional Sardinian food with a modern twist.
The decor is fascinating and the service impeccable. For me the number one Italian restaurant in London.

I went to have an absolutely delicious meal in the newly refurbished Olivo yesterday. The beautiful Francesca looked after us like family and Andrea's Tortelli di cervo was an incredible dish, very unusual, strong flavours, but beautifully balanced. I tasted all our party's food and it was all of the highest quality. Mauro is such a perfectionist, this was the first in his chain and I know he holds a special affection for it, and so he should - I first ate there 20 years ago!The new decor is subtlely modern and intricate and the acoustics are wonderful......bravo a tutti!!
I’ve been coming here for many many years and it is always a wonderful experience either for lunch or dinner. Food is great and the staff solicitous.

We had a lovely dinner experience at this elegant Sardinian restaurant. The waiter was very knowledgeable and friendly and gave us excellent recommendations, you could perceive he had Sardinian roots and knew what he was talking about. Service was impeccable. We shared starters and I had a really lovely dish of pasta with artichokes. Coffee was one of the best I ever had in London

It’s one of the best meals I’ve had in a very long time and most certainly the best Italian food I’ve experienced. The manager Oscar and his staff made our experience in Olivo so wonderful. sweet heavenly meal with my ceramic teachers ❤️ being round the corner from studio pottery london it is so ideal ❤️ the bottarga spaghetti was so special and delicious, i love the spaghetti here, it is shiny rich perfect strands of pasta coated with the salty perfect taste of bottarga ❤️ i love these restaurants the staff are always so sweet and i always have the loveliest times here x

Despite having been a regular at Olivo's sister restaurant Oliveto for the best part of a decade I'd actually never eaten here until recently - I'd looked at the menu a few times and never spotted anything vegetarian. Since the recent refurb (which looks very smart) I think they've also updated the menu, and now there were some vegetarian options, which were great. Really exquisite pasta and great seasonal ingredients cooked with real flair and imagination. Loved the asparagus with truffles, and the pappardelle with broad beans.
Really enjoyable and the best Italian cuisine eaten since my trip to Italy. Highly recommend for an entire dining experience: food, wine, and service.
