Really good Thai food in a trendy setting with food for everyone. Easy to find vegan options, all the dishes have great fresh flavors and portions are well sized - ideal for sharing! The dark lighting and cool interior makes for a really nice dinner spot.
What could be better than paying 99p for a meal! Well nothing really. Busaba have the best Monday blues offer of ordering a dish for 99p which is a great way to start the week. Ordered the prawn dish and green tea. Their food is always good and if high quality.

Food: the most enjoyable meal since i arrived in London. The food is very spectacular. My personal favourite is the stir fry king prawn. The pad thia went very well, i really liked the lime juice which gave the pad thai a kick. Green curry chicken is very yum with the coconut juice in it. The chicken wasnt too dry afterall.
The best Thai food with fresh ingredients. Spicy flavour. Try the Calamari signature dish. This is a place where you would go enjoy the food and chat with your buddies.
Unexpected visit to a great restaurant ... Amazing ambience .. Very good food! Vegetarian friend as an accomplice so kept myself restricted to the veggie pad Thai and smoked mushrooms .... But definitely hoping to explore the mom vegetarian options in the near future !

Its Wagamama does thai. Great space, not intimate but friendly, thai is ok for what it is. an ok fallback option if nothing else appeals.
Informal yet classy Thai eatery. Liked this place a lot. Good atmosphere, lovely aromas, interesting menu with a range of Thai dishes of differing styles. Think of an up-market Wagamamma with a Thai theme. Food was brilliantly cooked, quick to come and very reasonable. The spicy squid side and home made Thai fish cakes were winners. Very impressed.

Today I had to pick up a delivery in the Tottenham Court Road area and came across a stylish and well decorated Thai restaurant with a long but fast moving queue. Much to my interest I decided to risk some impulse munchies. Close to the British Museum, this restaurant is called the Busaba Eathai. Unidentifiable by it's logo but pretend they're not snakes and you can make out the letters. According to legend (the website) Busaba is a Thai flower and I am sure you have guessed, Eathai is formed from the words 'Eat Thai'. This is because the term 'restaurant' is used a description for a fine dining venue whereas similarly to Wagamama's, Busaba is more relaxed and sociable. Not to compare it too much to Wagamama's but as you know it well Busaba works in a similar way with their traditional Thai dishes being served as soon as they are ready, or in my case all at the same time (smiley face :) )! Busaba Eathai is one of those restaurants where it is like communal dining and you share your table with strangers. There are big wooden tables and long bench like seating. It has a warm decor and atmosphere created with the contrast of the wooden furniture and the orange lighting. The restaurant was decorated with tea lights and Buddha statues. The starter dishes were better than the main ones. The Thai calamari with ginger and peppercorn was one of the best dishes. Big chunks of calamari cooked to perfection and not coated in batter! The pandan chicken wrapped in the pandan leaf was another wonderful dish. The chicken was so soft and tender; it was very moreish. The chicken meat looked like it was chicken thigh! For the mains, the aromatic butternut pumpkin curry was chosen and to accompany it, some brown rice. The big bowl of curry was quite spicy. Good atmosphere and good food. Restaurant is social sat around large tables. I would recommend ordering a few different dishes as sharing plates and an authentic thai beer. Reasonably priced.
Is a chain restaurant for Thai food. One sits at large table’s which makes the experience quite social as one can start a conversation with the neighboring party. The food is good quality and tasty. I love pad thai and have tried many different ones in London the one at Busaba is definitely one of the best.
The food comes fast and the staff is very friendly and helpful. Busaba however, is not a place to have long dinners with a lot of people because reservations can’t be made. If you are in a group of 2-4 however, there will usually always be space or a short 10 minute waiting time.
I had a fantastic date night here, and we were happy with our experience. The calamari was soo good - couldn't get enough of it! And the Songkhla beef and chili prawn dishes were fantastic. The entire meal was delicious, and the service provided by Rahal made the evening even more enjoyable!
The somtam, chili prawn rice, calamari and chicken satay is amazingly delicious. I been here many times and the server (Liza) was tentative and friendly. She has been wonderful server for the rest of the evening. However, the Pad Thai is horrible, taste bland and sad looking. The Thai people will be upset if they find out about this version of Pad Thai. I know this because I’m Asian, and this is not a Pad Thai at all.
Had a great experience at Busaba. The food was tasty, the service was great. Would love to come here again.
Very nice Thai restaurant with beautiful décor and great tasting food.
The only flaw in the whole experience was the feeling of being rushed out by the server even though the restaurant was empty, not even 5 minutes after having finished the meals and still had our drinks to finish.
Great Thai spot that’s good for couples right up to large groups of 20+. Great attentive service with a plethora of hot Thai food to pair with it. As a coconut lover there’s plenty of options on hand. Must be my third visit to a Busaba and Bloomsbury branch delivered!
This is a noisy, buzzy place with communal tables. It's a really great atmosphere. It'd be great for groups. The food is really very good. I had a generous bowl of prawn crackers helped by a Thai margarita. The green curry chicken was very tasty and I absolutely loved the mango sorbet. The service was attentive and very friendly.
Causal dining Thai food, taste good, love the minced meat rice , pad Thai is slightly too sweet but ok, only the cabbage is a bit too “burnt” …
Yummy food and excellent service. We were a party of 17 and had the private area which was perfect for the occasion. We were very well looked after and pre-selecting the food really help things come on time. Thank you!!

Okay Thai restaurant in London. Visited on weekday evening. Okay service, though little slow at busy time. Food was okay - needed bit more spice though for our palette. Would recommend asking for some chilli sauce on the side though

Well normaly i love soon much spekülatif calamari, pad Thai prowns was very bad, only calamari is the best, service so slow drink, main food come together.
