Marcus Wareing's addition to the Renaissance is both plush and relaxed equally.
High quality service as you'd expect from restaurants of this ilk and it didn't disappoint. Amazing staff, full COVID measures in place and we felt very safe and distanced from other diners but still managed to keep the
The restaurant is spectacular with a relaxed, intimate atmosphere with low light and jazz music that combines to enhance the moment. If I had to repeat the occasion I would do so with pleasure. The service was excellent, every time we had empty glasses, and without asking, they were full again thank
First class food and service. If you want a treat, this is the place. I had the octopus to start and wow was this a perfect dish and the next two courses followed in suit. I don't want to ramble but I'm a food man and this satisfied my every taste bud.
Please note - this is a review of the bar only (having read the reviews of the restaurant it feels like it deserves a different rating). I would say that Sir Gilbert Scott bar is as Victorian as it gets in London - completely over the top, almost Russian in its unapologetic splendour (this complemen
The service was outstanding but food was ok. They serve matching wine with every dish-worth trying with main course. Agreed with earlier review - tomato and ricotta starter has no flavour.
Beautifully presented, delicious food served in a beautiful building by lovely staff. I really enjoyed my lunch, it felt very special without being too formal. I especially liked how my 8 year old child was treated and how everyone at the table was served attentively. I highly recommend eating here.
I had my 18th birthday here in 2014 with my family at the chefs table. Wonderful experience, definitely something I'd recommend. Every course came with a glass of wine to match perfectly with the food we were eating. We had our own waiter who was very entertaining and with every course we had a chef
Lovely restaurant with great service. We booked the chef's table and weren't disappointed - really interesting watching the pro cooks up close, and the dishes were delicious
Lovely evening of dining, although could be more polished with overall service. I noticed that bread was not served until after the starters arrived, whilst the adjacent table arrived later and had their bread quite early. To be fair, I was already hungry so was hanging for the bread. I should've as
Beautiful food and lovely service, love all the dishes we ordered. Relax atmosphere, great place to spend your evening after long day work.
A true fine dining experience!
Everything immaculate from table reservation to ambience to service to food quality and overall experience.
Would love to visit them again.
One of my favourite places to eat; wonderful ambience, great service and Marcus Earring - what more could you want?!
Excellent evening (despite a minor disappointment with the Pork Collar), and with the Eat Out; great value 💝
A beautiful menu in fantastic surroundings. Amazing service and a comprehensive wine list. There’s a three course set menu for around £30 but the rest of the menu is well priced. Make sure you book ahead.
I have visited the bar on many occasions and this was the first time I had eaten in the restaurant. Service was good if a little inattentive. The food is generously portioned and well presented.
Wonderful food, comfortable service, fruity house wine. Not expensive.
During my dinner, all customers in the restaurant were praising their food.
Must recommend to you guys.
Went there for a client lunch, lovely food. Dessert was a bit disappointing but the main course was lovely. The restaurant is beautiful, the floor the ceiling and the lighting and the decor is quintessential British.
Lovely architecture, quiet atmosphere, comfortable seating, attentive staff, interesting menu (rib steak with marrow bone to share is perhaps a bit salty), definitely coming back. Nice but expensive rum list. Fiancee preferred the Spice Girls staircase :-)
