Wow should be named instead of the breakfast club.well if you are in london or planning to trip there than this is a must visit place. truly in love with aqua shard
The breakfast club it worth the wait!
We had to wait for 2 hours to get seated but totally worth the wait!
Whatever we ordered was excellent!
Love their berry pancakes never had a better pancake in life than the breakfast club one. Chicken Burger was also a delight to eat and eggs benedict was also a classic recipe. But for me the berries pancakes was the dish of the day itself!
Love it and super love it!
Will return back whenever in London to any of its outlets!
The best breakfast in London babyyyyyy! I like it... pancakes good, bacon good, coffee good! Everything is good! šš¼ Iām coming back very soon!
This place is lovely! What an amazing vibe and the whole interiors are so catchy also there's a waiting always since it's a hotspot so be prepared to wait for like 5-10 mins before you are seated
We ordered a few things here:
1) Mac n Cheese - didn't taste great in the beginning but my friends loved it later on
2) Pancakes and Berries- MUST ORDER! ā¤ļø The best thing we ate here! The pancakes were so fluffy and amazing
3) Avocado on Toast- again a classic side! Cannot not love this
4) Fries- Well seasoned and we were given mustard as well as ketchup sauce
Overal, a great great place! Must visit
This place will always make new memories for anyone that walks through the doors. Amazing full English, all American breakfast, delish pancakes cutest cutlery and walls full of memories made by anyone passing in time.
The place has history and you're likely to be waiting in queue so pick a good time.
Surely everyone has come across the country The Breakfast Club. It is rather notorious for their long queue but it is still one of the top spots for breakfasts and especially for Sunday brunches. So I was in Brighton for the weekend and I found out that they have a branch there. I walked past it and only see a very short queue ā what a great chance to treat myself to a good brunch the next day when itās not going to cost me a good hour of queuing?!
love this place because of the variety. The portions are a bit too big, causing waste. Try sharing it with your friends. I travel a lot so it s good to find someplace stable in a city keeps changing.
Expect the usual brunch menu. Big breakfast that sort but with pancakes. Yums always loved pancakes with bacon. This branch is bigger than the one in Soho, with much shorter queue. Great ambience.

The Breakfast Club is an institution in the London dining scene redefining the word Brunch. Nestled among vintage shops and antique stores, a bright yellow cafe shines bright and is hard to miss with the long queue of people waiting for a table inside. The small window only offers a small peak of the world of food inside. I visited The Breakfast Club branch in Islington located in Camden Passage near to Angel Tube station.
One of my favourite breakfast places with branches at all the great locations. The ambience is really nice , the staff is really good.
As its really good, always expect a queue for breakfast but it's worth it . Must visit
This is the second time I've been to The Breakfast Club so now it's a tradition for all visits to London. Beautiful fresh food, no fuss and relaxed atmosphere. Highly recommend the avocado, poached eggs and bacon! The staff are very friendly and helpful. Top tip: prepare to queue!
Good food that's worth waiting for - average queue on a Saturday morning at least 30min wait. Do enjoy going there before strolling down to the Emirates Stadium to watch my beloved Arsenal. Their bacon and banana French toast is great, even though it sounds like a strange combination. However, I do have a real soft spot for the poached eggs with avocado and chorizo. Pretty decent coffee and tasty breakfast smoothies. We'll priced and worth a visit.
The breakfast club is a lovely intimate space, very friendly and welcoming. The food seems to me like nice american breakfast food. The pancakes are filling, slightly too cakey for me I could have done with a larger serving of syrup, other wise its a nice change from a full English at the cafe.
I had brunch here yesterday and it was amazing. I can't remember when last I had an American breakfast (I miss the ginormous servings... hehehe). If you are a fan of a pancake breakfast, this is the place!
Great venue for breakfast/brunch but expect a queue!! perhaps over 30 minutes as well. Very small inside but clearly has built up an excellent reputation and you will not be disappointed. I had the bacon and pancakes and it was fantastic - was so sad when I could not finish it. Highly recommend.
Hard to beat an outside table on a sunny Sunday. Our food came quickly and was delicious, although I would have liked a little more avocado as I'm an avo-fiend. The Bloody Mary's were delicious. Unfortunately they were let down by the service - there didn't seem to be a system and we had to ask multiple times for water, the bill, and to pay. Still, worth it for the food!
Mum and me went brunching for the first time . Had an amazing time Great staff Great food Definitely going back !!!!
Although there was a small queue (11ish on a Sat) we both thought that it was worth the wait. Amazing eggs florentine with a pitcher of delicious refreshing smoothie all served by enthusiastic waiting staff. The place had a great feel about it too, definitely worth a visit!
Best eggs benedict ever! If you can make it during the week you can avoid the humongous weekend queues and relax with a smoothie. Friendly service from fresh faced gap models.
Nice but it takes forever to get a seat! The place has a nice atmosphere though. Service is fine but a little bit chaotic.
Great food. Great place. Really worth queuing for
Great pie, a smashing good place. I recomend it love.
I walked past The Breakfast Club a few times and there were lines to get in. One morning I stopped by at around 10am and thankfully got straight in and I soon understood why this place is so popular. Itās trendy, they are open for breakfast, lunch, dinner and late drinks AND the staff are really friendly. I felt like I was sat in a Surry Hills cafe. The menu has lots of veg options including the Reggie Veggie breakfast which I swapped out eggs with grilled haloumi for.

I definitely recommend heading to the Breakfast Club, as it makes for a perfect Sunday brunch location. Just be prepared to shell out a few more Ā£Ā£ if you were looking for a real American breakfast experience.
With Irene back in London for a short holiday, we caught up over Sunday brunch at The Breakfast Club in Angel. We were both on the NTU exchange programme in Singapore back in 1998 and it's been a long time since we last met up. So long that she's now married and so this was the first time I got to meet her husband. And to my surprise Claire, one of Irene's friends I met a few years ago, was there as well. I thought she had already returned to Toronto but all this time she was actually working in London unable to get in touch with me! I took them to The Breakfast Club in Angel which is can be a bit risky given how long the queues can get. Thankfully, only a 20 minute wait for a table. When
Join me if you donāt LOVE The Breakfast Club. Here go my reasons ā¦.No.1 The Breakkie Club is always too packed. Iām used to red ropes and carpets, not keen on queuing. No.2 Also Iām only keen on paying Ā£50 for Eggs Benedict. It itches the tip of my finger
you cannot make reservations at the breakfast club on weekends and since there is always a queue i am pre-warning that you should come prepared to wait; at the bc in camden passage, islington the queue extends out of the door onto the steps and spills rig
What do you expect from a place that calls itself the Breakfast Club, apart from really good breakfasts. Well, that's what you get. There is normally a queue outside with people waiting to get in. Which is always a good signā¦ For me, I don't mind queuing
Great place for brunch on the weekend! The restaurant is great but you need to get here early especially on Sundays because they don't take reservations and the line gets absurdly long.
They have a variety of American-style brunch dishes, including pancakes and French toast and some fantastic smoothies. I had great eggs royal and had a good side plate of fresh fruit.
The decor is casual, with bright colors and classic American pop culture items on the walls. They play a variety of pop music, and I thought it was a bit too loud for a Sunday morning, but I guess it went with the look of the restaurant. I really appreciated the fact that even though there was a long line outside, the waiters don't rush you to eat quickly and get out. You can really take your time and enjoy your meal.
This restaurant is a great option for breakfast as the menu is extensive and everything on the menu being delicious. The service is swift and the place is usually crowded on a weekday morning. The staff is helpful and friendly. The place offers a great start to the day. The prices are steep but worth it.
I came to this place with a friend to have breakfast on a weekday morning. The weather was really nice so we decided to sit outside on the benches. It was quite full, but fortunately we were able to secure a table for ourselves. Although, the place did start to get queues in a little while only. The food was all delicious and we had pancakes with the traditional spread. This was a really nice place.
This place serves good breakfast options ranging from full English to pancakes, eggs Benedict, salads and wraps. The choice of smoothies offered is really good as well. Staff at this place has always been helpful in recommending you what to order as per your preference. Try to come a little early as this place gets busy as the time passes.
I was trying to visit this place since a couple of months but would always freak out at the thought of waiting for over an hour in the long queues. That was the biggest hindrance in my way to the delicious food served there. However last week I reserved a table in advance as it was my partner's birthday and he loves sea food. We went for brunch and just loved our food. Right from the crabs to the oysters to the prawns everything was just so fresh and appropriately spiced. I enjoyed the sauces that accompanied the platter. It is worth the wait in the long queues!
This place is quite popular and it has been on my list for quite a long time. The location is not that convenient it is not that hard to find either. The service though is extremely prompt and hospitable. The food too is definitely flavorsome and simply yummy. I recommend trying the buttermilk fried chicken!
I think I have found one of the most amazing and affordable places in the city after visiting this place. I loved their milk shake which was peanut butter and banana flavoured, so refreshing and delectable. The pancakes were an absolute delight and will have me coming back here over and over for them. This is my new breakfast place.
I had walked past this place a lot of times in the past and thought the long queues outside the place speaks for the great value of the restaurant. Aware about long the queues can get, we decide to come in early and did not have to wait for too long. The food was delivered in good time .The staff is very pleasant and very helpful. Talking about the food, the taste is very delicious.
I recommend trying the incredible Huevos Rancheros and Full Monty!
There was a small queue when we visited the place but it was surely worth the wait. The food was delicious and well-prepared and the eggs Florentine and smoothies there are absolutely delectable. The staff is courteous, friendly and hospitable. The service is also prompt. The place has a great vibe to it. I would definitely recommend it.
I would like to share one of my good experience I had here. I ordered Eggs Benedict and it was the best decision I made. They were soo delicious and tasty. They serve you with very good food and the smoothies are also fantastic. The staff is very friendly and kind. I would suggest you to go during the weekday to avoid long queues in the weekends.
This place remains very crowded and there are huge waiting lines outside the place always. This description itself speaks a lot about the quality of the restaurant and the place lives up to the reputation wonderfully! This is a very modern and fashionable kind of place with great interiors. The service too is very cordial and helpful, but the main reason in my opinion for its popularity is the amazing menu, which offers all kinds of meals for any time of the day!
The food tastes delicious too! I am in love and would highly recommend trying this place out!
To begin with, the place has been interiorized in a cramping manner. The table are too tightly packed and one literally feels half leaning over the adjacent table. Also the decor is gaudy making the whole place seem packed. I went in afternoon hours but they serve dinner menu dishes as well!
This restaurant has a quality of transporting you back to the era of the 1980s. The theme of the place is shabbily chic, and they have incorporated several elements that point towards the same. They have a brilliant menu of breakfast spreads, and just the thought makes the mouth water. This is one spread you can have even in the afternoon.
This restaurant serves breakfast all day. The pancakes are delectable. They have a good variety of pancakes to choose from. the service is swift. the pancakes are served with generous quantities of vanilla ice cream, maple syrup or berries. It is absolutely lip smacking. What a wonderful start to a day!
We started our day by coming to this place for an early breakfast. It has a vibrant and lovely atmosphere. Even early in the morning, there was queue outside but it did not take too long for us to get a table inside. After a lot of thinking and looking at their extensive selection of breakfast options, i went for classic Eggs Benedict. It was made perfect as per my liking. Service was prompt. Worth a visit!
I really think this place is great but Iām always slightly confused by the long queue that forms along Camden Passage of people waiting for a table. It has gained a reputation that I am not sure any breakfast food can really live up to.
Itās appeal I guess, lies in the trendy dĆ©cor; itās tables are dressed in the vintage style, with checked cloths and mismatched colourful chairs. And the outdoor seating area is cool, with tables and chairs spilling out onto Camden passage which would certainly make a passer-by wonder what all the fuss was about.
The food is definitely nice, and the menu is extensive. You can eggs just about any way you could imagine, I had the eggs benedict and it was delicious with a lovely rich hollandaise sauce. They also have an impressive selection of pancakes which is quite hard to come by, and they taste and look authentic and American. I havenāt eaten off the lunch menu as the place unsurprisingly serves breakfast all day, but Iām sure such delights as the pulled pork sandwich are equally as indulgent as the brunch menu.
So all in all The Breakfast Club is great and tasty but in my opinion, not worth queuing an hour for. Especially since a full English sets you back a tenner which is expensive even by Islington standards.
Tucked down a cute alleyway in the heart of Angel, the breakfast club never disappoints. The food is great - the breakfasts are clearly their calling card. The cocktails too are delicious and have to recommend the bloody mary. It is always busy however so difficult to get a seat at peak times. Service is lovely and decor is fresh and hip.
My flatmate has a friend from Belgium staying over for a couple of days. Then, since yesterday night we went out for drinks, this morning was a hard one.
We woke up pretty late and did not feel like cooking. So, we seized the chance to try this place we always wanted to. The Club of Breakfast is pretty well known. We had to wait to get in for about 30/45 mins though!! It's crazy how people actually wait that long just to eat there, but this just installed in me the curiosity to try it.
I tried the Pancakes & Berries as I thought it was enough, but my friends also ordered sausages with eggs, and something else. Anyway, everything was delicious and so well presented. Worth to wait!
I've only visited the Angel branch, but this restaurant is pretty small so as a party of eight it was quite cramped but the staff did their best to help us make use of the space.
I was impressed that, as not only a big party but a party of students, we were treated with such respect and the serving staff gave us ample time and attention and were fine to split the bill for us.
I chose the chicken pie which had a great crispy pastry and warming filling perfect for an autumnal evening. It was well seasoned and served with a creamy mash which, as far as I could tell, was homemade.
We also ordered various cocktails which were very good - I chose a margarita, though on the advice of our waiter, without the salt. I'm usually a sucker for a salt rim, but the waiter explained the history of this custom, and
I'd return to The Breakfast Club as I've heard great things about their brunch. If I were to go for dinner again I think I would choose a different venue for a livelier atmosphere. Quite pricey but a fun evening out.
This afternoon I met up with Kritika from Zomato and had a chance to chat about food blogging and her company, Zomato, where foodies can post reviews, photos and also search for tonight's choice watering hole or restaurant. I was so impressed that I have signed up and have my own Zomato account so if you are on Zomato do add/follow me! :)
Our meeting place was the quintessential and charming The Breakfast Club in North London near to Angel Station. The cheery yellow entrance and good sized crowd at the 3 o'clock hour promised for a charming hour. With the sun peeking out, Kritika and I sat at one of their outside tables on the elevated patio. The chairs were comfortable and the table spacious enough for two with the pedestrian thoroughfare being the only distraction, albeit it minor.
For my afternoon tea - I chose a cup of English Breakfast tea with milk and an apple cobbler with custard and berries. The tea came in a friendly and cheery mug with a smiley face but I was surprised to see a large chip at the top of the mug.
Truly though it was the cobbler that was the star of my afternoon tea. Delicious and my only complaint was that there was not enough custard to cover the entire cobbler and my last few bites were therefore dry. But o so yummy!
If you have never before ventured to one of The Breakfast Club cafes, I would highly recommend a visit for a business meeting or casual chit-chat with friends over afternoon tea. I will definitely be coming back for breakfast as the menu boasted some delicious sounding pancakes and mango smoothies.
I almost wish I had had a hangover when I went to The Breakfast Club this morning. It would have cured it in a flash, and I feel guilty that I didnāt even give it a chance. I was in fact uncharacteristically sprightly for a Saturday morning, having forgoed my ritual Friday night cocktails for orange squash, a big bowl of pasta (with homemade pesto, natch) and the latest episode of Nashville.
The Breakfast Club is something of a London institution, it was the first place to take a previously underrated meal and make it their calling card. As such there is almost always a queue outside, but stick it out and you will be duly rewarded. Inside is very relaxed and homey. It reminded me of hostels on the gringo trail in South America ā scrubbed wooden tables, coloured fairy lights, bright yellow and orange walls and plenty of photographs of breakfasters past.
The menu is slightly overwhelming. Warning: you will want to eat everything. Luckily we had a very nice (read: cute) waiter who took a seat at our table while helping us decide what to order. One of my friends went for the veggie breakfast burrito, another for āThe All Americanā, and after much contemplation I chose the chorizo harsh browns. We also had a big jug of fruit smoothie to share and I had my standard flat white. The food came quickly (they clearly understand that hangovers donāt mess around), and in big portions. My hash browns consisted of home style potatoes, two large spicy chorizo sausages, fried onions and peppers, chunks of creamy feta, all topped with two perfectly runny fried eggs. It wasnāt elegant or particularly special, just simple, perfectly cooked, and lipsmackingly delicious. Was it the best food I have ever eaten? No. Would I go back again tomorrow? Absolutely (and no, not just because of the cute waiter). I would go back as it is pretty much impossible to leave this place without a smile on your face, and feeling a little more at ease with the world than when you went in. Its *almost* worth getting a hangover in anticipation for.
Cosy tiny cool place for great brunch with friends if you manage to get a table... Good luck :-)
Angel haven for Skinny Jeans and Hipsters munching on hangover food.
Great Frys and smashing milkshakes - just what you need the morning after the O2 Academy
There is nothing better than brunch.
In fact, scratch that - nothing compares to brunch.
Especially after a long weekend of debauchery.
Let's face it, we've all been there.
Waking up in questionable locations, with that banging headache.
That headache where you know that last night, you were just Awesome.
There is only one destination to nurse that dreaded hangover.
That one place in the city that welcomes you with open arms and fluffy pancakes.
The Breakfast Club.
A feast fit for Kings
I'm not one to do things by halves, if you're going to be a huge fat then do it properly, and be proud. (Then run 10miles hahahah)
Apple Cinnamon French Toast with Maple Syrup Ā£6.20 - 'Thick eggy bread with cinnamon roasted apples'
Crispy, yet soft french toast with cinnamon apples and maple syrup; do I honestly have to say more?
French toast has that risk of becoming soggy and incurring my wrath. But not at The Breakfast Club; the egg was infused in the bread and it was toasted to perfection.
Reggie The Veggie Ā£9.20 - 'Veggie sausage, home-style fried potatoes, eggs, mushrooms, grilled tomato, beans and toasted multigrain bloomer'
My accomplice, B. demolished that so fast; I was lost for words.
Clearly she did that so I couldn't do what I always do, lean over and fork around on her plate ;P
She's catching on to my tricks.
The All American Ā£9.80 - 'Pancakes, eggs, sausage, home-style fried potatoes, streaky bacon, and maple syrup'
Crispy streaky bacon lying salaciously on fluffy American pancakes, drizzled with maple syrup.
Everyone knows that maple syrup makes everything taste so god damn good.
Sweet and salty.
Uhhh... give me moment.
We all know that combination is a match made in heaven.
Service/Ambiance
Faultless, I simply love lying in a food coma here.
So much I over stayed my welcome.
This place is always busy, but trust me; it is so worth the wait.
Or just go early and avoid peak times.

It's a really nice place to go for breakfast or lunch with friends.
The atmosphere is very trendy. The is a very large choice of dishes, especially for main courses.
What I ate was delicious (eggs Benedict, pancakes egg ham cheese, bacon and pancakes). . Not to be missed.
Staff members are very nice especially a french guy named Etienne.
A must to do

The Breakfast club is very nicely located in a pedestrian street. The atmosphere is very relaxed. However on the week end there are usually a lot of waiting time and you will be pushed to finish your meal rapidly. You will be sure to find all the typical brunch food and I would recommend the eggs Royal which are particularly nice. Even though this is a typical breakfast place there are so many more exciting places to go have a nice brunch in the Angel area that I would not put the breakfast Club on my top list.
This is brunch mecca now available all over London it seems!
This particular branch is located in the quaint Camden passage area of angel, surrounded by vintage shops and market stalls.
Word of warning, be prepared to queue as every time I have cme here there has been a significant number of people in line. The most I have waited is about 30mins, and it is probably worth it if not for the other options, which are almost (but not quite), as good just along the road.
Seemingly any brunch item you could think of is on the menu, I am a particular fan of smoke salmon with poached eggs - which are very tasty and come in a considerable portion.
The smoothies are also a must try - a range of quite unique flavour are available and you can get a big jug to share with the table.
It is also reasonably priced for brunch in London and has a great American diner feel - give it a go!
Similarly to its twins in Soho or Shoreditch, The Breakfast Club in Angel is maybe the smallest of all. It is however still a guaranteed place to enjoy breakfast, lunch or brunch. Their juices are fresh and the quality of the food generally quite high. The atmosphere, loyal to its philosophy, is very young and friendly. I highly recommend the breakfast club for people who have never been before.
THE Breakfast & Brunch institution! A varied menu with a large choice of comfort food, going from burgers, club sandwiches, full English or break-fasts, benedict eggs to muffins and pancakes... Interior is inspired by the 80s with a vintage deco - while each venue has its own style - there is a cafet atmosphere for cool people who come there for brunch or dinner.

Delicious food, warm ambience and kind staff. Also located near antiques market that operates on Wednesdays and Saturdays. Definitely go back. They have a good selection of vegan options.
I had the Grand Royal Eggs Benedict and an iced chai latte which was made from beetroot and oat milk. Food overall was tasty, the latte maybe a tad too spicy but it was something different that I've never tried before, having been made from a blend of beetroot. Lovely staff and pleasant atmosphere š
The food was really good - greasy of course but thatās expected for some good fry up. Service was good, though drinks took a while, but everyone was lovely.
We were seated outside which was nice on a sunny day, but there were tons of birds just flying around our table which was a little annoying.
This is probably a restaurant choice but I think the plates could be a little bigger because itās a little hard to eat everything with such minimal capacity space.
If you are in London, donāt miss out on this experience. A proper English breakfast.
I love it. Not my first time to have an English breakfast, but my first time to enjoy it so much, the fried eggs, bacon, potatoes, sausage, and the pancakes. It was amazing.
Canāt wait to visit the same place again.
The staff was extremely nice and polite. Special thanks.
Last but not least, do yourself a favour and try the pink chai latte
Great service and ambiance. Staff were incredibly nice and attentive. Price is on the higher side but food was good however the truffle mushroom egg benedict was a little bland. The place is small and does not fit many people so Iād recommend to get a reservation online to get a table if you have a big group. Overall quite happy with coming here and would be back again.
I either came before the crowds or just lucky on the day. But was nice to have a choice of where to sit.
Food was good just air con in the empty restaurant really cooled me and the food down making it less nice, when I got to about 25% through my food.
Smoothie was what I needed to kickstart my morning.
Great food. Great service. However limited space, normally always busy. Don't recommend going with a large group.
Was happy to find a pretty good vegetarian full English breakfast. They also have a vegan option available as well which has scrambled tofu. Breakfast was good and the service was quick but not rushed - which was nice since we were on a time crunch to get to the airport. Would definitely return.

A restaurant that at this point has just become a classic in the city. Dishes are always consistent, the staff is super kind, and of course the quality of the products is always on point. Expect always a line, that if youāre lucky might take less than 20 mins, the upside of this branch is that they have some outdoor tables; amazing for the summer sunny days. NPS - Woulds always recommend this place to have a lovely comfort food breakfast/brunch
The berry pancakes were really food. Might just need to make the pancakes a little bit more moist though. The eggs florentine with truffles was also delicious.
The first time I went, everything was great!!! Had the most beautiful waitress with big beautiful hair!!! She was very attentive and welcoming. The second time, the food was still great, but they made us wait for someone to acknowledge us outside instead of just telling us to take a seat either inside or out. When they finally acknowledged us, they had partially cleaned the table, and I had to ask them to as it was nasty. All in all, for my first visit to London and hearing about The Breakfast Club, it wasn't too bad, UT not the experience I expected!!!
Solid spot for breakfast and brunch fare in a cute setting (Camden Passage) - huevos rancheros, mushroom Benedict and smoked salmon are great
Best Breakfast in Londonā¦.their Pancakes are way too Good but everything else on the menu is also Great too
Amazing service by Luca!
Came across this restaurant during our stay in Angel and decided to come back the following day for breakfast. The breakfast was awesome and unique! Great tasting and would highly recommend if you are in the area!
We went to have breakfast and tried the pancakes which were nice and really fulfilling (maybe too much?). The staff was really amazing! Everyone was so lovely and friendly. Despite all these good things, we have to wait about 30 minutes to get our food to the table. Thatās why it is not a 5/5.
Wow where to start, this breakfast was AMAZING! First of all the staff is super friendly. We did have to wait around 10 minutes to get a table 'cause the entire place was packed, but they were so kind to us. The menu is wonderful, so many yummy stuff to choose from and what we got was amazing. The pancakes are honestly to die for and the full English breakfast was a solid 10/10. The coffee was alright, but the food is definitely why you should be going! It's also located in a really cozy street, would love to go again.
