Absolutely a step up from your traditional fast food burger places, does cost more but it's worth it
Absolutely beautiful food hot and fresh yeah pricey but quality was worth it 11/10 for me staff couldn't of been more friendly and the place was very clean! Was at the Bradford one not the London one checked into wrong place
Forget those stupid burgers. I am sure they are great, possibly the best around. But do yourself a favour and just get their hotdog. Amazing bun with the best tasting dog you will find anywhere. And if you wash it down with one of their indulgent creamy milkshakes I am sure you'll agree with me that as far as fastfood goes this is the pinnacle.
Chips are amazing and the small portion is enough for 2. Burger was good too but I'd go back just for the chips š
My son told me you will never eat a burger so good in all your life , his a massive fan of five guys , so I decided to try it for myself, well he was sooooo right I have never in all my life tasted something so good it melted I. Your mouth will defo be having this again .

Really nice place and yummy food! The cajun fries are a must try. The quantity is nice and the price justified. I had the veggie sandwich which was loaded with lots of cheese n veggies. The cajun fries were enough to full my tummy.

Nice burgers and chips. Very good portion size as I struggled to finish all of my food. That could have been down to the milkshake though! I did however find the chips overly salty, but I think this is just the way Five Guys makes their chips. Lots of seating, and queues weren't too long. Good place to grab a quick bite to eat!
Excellent experience at this restaurant. The ambience is very nice, the burgers are always freshly made and served at reasonable prices, the service is prompt and punctual and the hygiene is optimal always.
Been here for a quick lunch , had hamburger with double patties, small hamburger, five guys milkshake and fries . The service was pretty quick . Though the place was quite crowded we managed to find a table for ourselves . The burgers were awesome , the patties were super fresh , juicy and delicious . The fries were crispy and yum . The milkshake was excellent too . I must say this was definitely one of the freshest burgers I have had recently and I totally love it !

Wanted a quick, cheap meal before a show. This looked okay in an area crowded with restaurants and fast food outlets, so I thiought I'd give it a try. Wow, best burger I've ever had. While I was eating I looked around at the press clippings on the walls and noted all the hype, but, it lives up to it. It would always be my first choice from now on, although I won't go for the large chips, too many even for me!

š¹Service: wow this place was so crowded when I visited, everyone seems to be loving their burgers and to be honest its a hyped up name, maybe because it is a bit on the fancier side of fast food.
the service was okay, the cashier typed my request correctly and handed me a number so I had to wait for my turn to come pick my food up.
š¹Ambiance: the ambiance is similar to an american diner one, the music was not overwhelming but the amount of people was extremely big, it may not be comfortable to some but to me it was okay.
š¹Food taste: as first sight, the burger comes wrapped in aluminum foil which is different than any other fast food chain, this keeps the juices and makes the process of eating the burger a bit less messy.Ā
The bun itself was soft and very very tender and it could be flattened with the palm of your hand some this shows that it was baked freshly, The patty was also very juicy and thick, just the way I like it, you could feel its taste with every bite. The bacon was not added in a large quantity so it didnt overtake on the whole taste which was fine by me.
The cajun fries were the bomb!! these are the best fries I have ever experienced in a fast food restaurant!

I just love Five Guys. Itās for sure my favourite fast food restaurant in London. I think thereās a lot of things that could be improved, like the customer service and the prices but I have to give it 5 stars, because the hamburgers and the fries are amazing! I also love the refill option!
It is a good place to eat. Burger is good, especially the patty. It's juicy. Fries were crispy. Milkshake was good. Overall if anyone wants to eat good old cheese burger, this is the place.
We went there with the family. Food is great, burgers taste like REAL burgers, i prefer fries back in lebanon though. The place is a bit noisy and everyone was screaming but ill definitely go back
Been here with my friends that came from Dubai as i went from Dubai and burgers at five guys here are great. Burger there was great too so was the flavoured drink but the toilet was a mess that put me off but food was good still
First saw a Five Guys in Paris, and wondered what the hype was about. Absolutely brimming to the max with people knew it had to be worth checking out. Ordered a bacon cheeseburger with the lot, standard cheeseburger, large chips and drink. Was surprised to find both cheeseburgers had 2 patties in them. Very fresh and tasted! Great music blasted, whilst pricey would recommend!
Oh my goodness, I thought the burgers were quite expensive but much to my delight when we received our meals, THERE'S TWO PATTIES IN ALL THEIR BURGERS. The burger was delicious and the free nuts where a nice touch. They had super loud music playing, which was pretty annoying and we were rushed along by a staff member but nonetheless it was an enjoyable meal.
It seem weird to be trying an American burger chain in England but once hubby found out they were in town he had a rare moment of foodie enthusiasm.Ā Five guysĀ burgers and fries is apparently famous. Weirdly I had never heard of them so visited with no expectations. I did manage to order wrong, greatly embarrassing hubby. Apparently you have to select everything to build your perfect burger and my request for ājust the usualā was met with a blank stare. The burger joint first opened in 1986 in Virginia and now numbers in the thousands.

Was walking past this place and saw someone getting out with fries which looked different from the normal fries you get at other places. The only thing vegetarian at this place was the fries. Wanted to taste the Cajun fries which was freshly cut potatoes fried in peanut oil and masala added to it. One of the best fries I have eaten as they were fresh and with masala added to it gave it an indian flavour.

I'm not a big fan of burgers but this time around I decided to put myself out there and give burgers another shot. The classic cheese burger was my choice and to be fair, it didn't disappoint but it didn't change my perspective on burgers either.
God save me when it comes to the milkshake though, I love myself a good milkshake and this place gets it spot on.
It's simply one of the best burgers. The bun is just delicious. The meat tasty, fresh and juicy. As for the toppings, don't add too much toppings. I usually have mayo, lettuce, green pepper, jalapeƱo pepper, ketchup and mustard sometimes I add grilled onions.
If you're hungry double the patty. And don't forget the bacon!
The dogs are delicious to share before the burger if you're hungry!
Simply one of the best burgers!!!

One of the best and worthy burgers I had in London. I had a bacon cheese burger and ham burger in two different meals. Loved them both equally! Give guys shake with whipped cream goes well too. It has very long queues where in you get to eat peanuts they store there for passing the time ;)
The great thing about Five Guys is that you can tailor your burger exactly how you want it. You can choose your basic burger, then add as many toppings as youād like to it ā for free! The burger patties themselves are hand shaped, so thereās an extra texture to itās imperfect shape. To keep things simple, thereās only fries for sides. Which is a good thing, since it doesnāt distract you from the main event ā the burger!

I love five guys, I first had their food in the US a few years back so I was quite happy to see their chain in London. Its pretty simple really, tasty good quality fast food. Seems to be an American concept which is spreading, the likes of chicfila and in n out etc. Can't go wrong with five guys, fast food at its best.

Really great burgers ! Made my own even though it tasted similar to a Mc Royal Deluxe. Ask for the spicy fries, are the better ones! A bit over priced.

Five guys is awesome because you can pick what you want on your burger, all the essential add-ons like tomato, grilled mushrooms, grilled onions, pickles, peppers, jalapenos, mustard, ketchup, mayo and then theres their fries - a choice of salted or spicy. I had a cheeseburger with a few of my favorite ingredients - pickles, jalapenos, peppers, etc. And then theres the bottomless drink that you can order which is awesome. I've tried both kinds of fries and prefer the salty over the spicy. Overall a really really really good burger place to have a massive burger. I wish I had taken a picture to accompany this review but believe me once you unwrap that burger all you are capable of doing is gobbling it up ! Would highly recommend this restaurant, they are on my list of best burger places... (and i'm not much of a burger person!)
My knowledge of Yorkshire went from nothing to āa littleā this weekend, having spent two days in Northallerton, a small town two and a half hours from London, famous for Bettyās tea house, proximity to the Yorkshire moors, and horse riding. My boyfriend and I were there for his friendās weddingĀ and stayed in a charming B&B called Woodlands Farm.
Fast, furious and quite tasty. Not the gourmet type of burgers here, but just ideal for a quick lunchtime bite. The meat is quite tender, well seasoned, and you can choose from 15 free toppings . You burger comes in a brown paper bag, and off you go into the sunny streets of Covent Garden. Nice .

Heard stories about this place from my American friends and then just had the luck to try their burgers my self and the only word is spectacular.
I had the bacon and cheese hamburger all the way. This place has all toppings free and an unlimited refill policy. The burger opened me up to a new level of how good burgers can be.
The Cajun fries need a special mention as they were awesome. And the shakes were brilliant.
Legend says that 5 guys has no freezers as nothing is left at the end of the day at any outlet and that's how fresh their food is.
Well the place really lived up to the reputation. It really shows why Americans love some of their food so much. Service is too, quality is top and quantity is American style so it's top.

This place has been on my list for a number of months, and I finally got to visit the Covent Garden location. In expectation of a run of the mill American burger joint, four of us walked up to the door, which was guarded by a pleasant young lady who smiled and informed us that we were to join a line of people waiting to get in.Ā
We joined the line with curious anticipation, and within a few moments were at the head of the line. We were permitted to enter and join yet another line leading to a counter. Where we ordered three burgers with bacon and cheese, and an assortment of individual toppings, and a large portion of fries which we were informed was sufficient for 4 people. The lone vegetarian in our group ordered a cheese veggie sandwich. This and 4 bottomless cokes completed our order.Ā
We proceeded to get our drinks from the dispenser, and grabbed some peanuts, and arrived at the delivery counter just in time to collect a large brown paper bag filled with our order.
The place was quite full, and we made our way downstairs and found a suitable table and proceeded to open the package and pass out the food.Ā
I recall unwrapping my package and seeing an appetizing burger. I also distinctly recall that first heavenly bite into a perfectly cooked juicy burger with all the right flavours. The next thing I remember is seeing the empty wrapper. We had wolfed down the lot in under 5 minutes flat, and were left with fries which we had barely touched. Even the vegetarian among us said that the veggie sandwich was excellent.
That was one of the best bacon cheeseburgers I have ever tasted. We sat there with silly grins, nibbling on fries, wanting more burger, but too full to eat any more.Ā

As my boyfriend will testify you really can order every single topping on the menu at no extra charge.
They give you free peanuts whilst you queue, still in their cases so you also have the fun of crushing them.
The buns are refreshingly simple (no fancy brioche), the meat is not overdone, you can be done in under half an hour, and for two burgers and regular spicy chips it cost Ā£20.

I was having a burger craving and decided to indulge myself. First off, the queue was long and the restaurant is extremely busy. I had a bacon burger with salty fries. The burger was alright, just a normal burger. It was the fries that got me. These were the crispest fries I've had in my life.... lol... and the portion size was massive, I felt like the fries would never end! Definitely a place to go to satisfy burger and fry cravings!
What the Five Guys!. I have to admit that I was pressured in to going to Five Guys in Covent Garden. It was pretty good, but I don't understand what the big queue is for all the time, especially when I've never seen a line at a Five Guys in America. Burger tasty, fries dry with no sauce option. Third burger place in 3 days on this visit. Have to say the chance to order the toppings on the burger the way I wanted it was a real treat. Had the bacon cheeseburger which as the standard is a double pattie. The bacon was really crispy - a rarity for burgers I've eaten so thumbs up on this.
No sauce options for the chips which is a bit of a downer. Service seemed to take a while but I went at a peak time so even seating was limited. But in the end the burger did taste good and that's what counts. It didn't last very long.

Five Guys changed our lives. My girlfriend and I ambled through Covent Garden late on a wednesday evening to Five Guys Burgers & Fries. After a short queue, we were met with the delight of a handful of peanuts which we merrily munched, although they were difficult to open up. We perused the menu, salivating at the thought of going "all the way". An unassuming till servant took our order, and we refused to tip (although the service was actually quite good). Numbers 95 and 96 were soon called and we greedily grabbed our greasy ghetto grocery bags.
Let's start with the bacon cheeseburger, with two patties! Enveloped in cheese coated foil, and held juicily together by succulent sauce and gorgeous grease. The bread was a little squishy, but the meat was tender, and the toppings were top drawer. Overall, a delight to the pallet which has changed my perspective on burgers forever.
TIP 1: one regular fries is enough for two people, don't be a hero. And go cajun.
TIP 2: when re-filling your drink, you will undoubtedly be overwhelmed by the plethora of choice at your fingertips. Sit near the drinks machine so you can get many small amounts of re-fills, allowing you to sample all 100+ of the flavours! (this includes one serving of water)

Move over McDonald's -welcome five guys. The American burger fascination has continued this week with the launch of two new restaurants in London; Five guys opened on July 4th ad Shake shack is opening on the 5th so I had to try both.
I have been looking forward to this for weeks and have told many people about it and even dedicated a Facebook post to it. So The day finally arrived when five guys opened at 11am. It was too early for lunch but I had to try it. So I ran there at 11:15 and surprise surprise there was a queue.

Not to worry as I was going to go in the evening any way. So as the excitement continued to build I waited until 7pm.
After some to-ing and for-ing I got to five guys and there was an even bigger queue. Long story short I got seated at 22:20 and went into devouring my first five guys burger.
This place is known as being President Obama's favourite burger place; the standards were set. I ordered a bacon burger with regular fries and a coke, all for an expensive Ā£14. I will get onto the price later but the burger I got was a regular with 'all the way in' . This was two patties stuffed with grilled mushrooms, onions, lettuce, tomatoes, ketchup and then some. The sauce of ketchup and mustard along wih the patties, cheese and bacon were just what I had been waiting for, especially after 30 minutes in the queue. The chips too were nice but I still believe the crinkle cut chips in dirty burger and even honest burger are a lot better. It seems like here they chucked on too much in terms of extra herbs or spice on the chips, when simple salt would suffice. I did like this place a lot but at Ā£14 for a burger, chips and Coke it is very overpriced. For the first night I was happy to pay this but moving forward I would order differently . First off; the menu states little hamburger/ cheeseburger: all this means is that it is just one patty, go with this- cheaper and more satisfying. Also one portion ofc hips is more than enough for two. They are very generous here and between the four of us we barely managed to finish off one and a half portions.

The inside was much different from the suburban Five Guys. Packed! The menu is exactly the same. Except, however, the prices are a lot higher in London! I advised Mr. Sunny to take it easy on the fries because the portions are huge. He was delighted to be able to order a beer. Thatās not an option at the location where I was in the States. In recent years they have had a huge expansion in the states to rave reviews. This was a day for celebration, and not only because itās Independence Day across the Atlantic! I wanted to order this suggestively in a seductive tone āletās go all the wayā¦ā, but I panicked and ended up sounding more Northern than usual and the lady on the till looked a little scared (flirting isnāt my strong point).
After a huge success throughout the United States five guys has made its way to the Uk, situated in the heart of London at Covent garden this outlet provides excellent burgers and yummy dogs.
I had to wait a long time before I got to place my order since there was a huge waiting line, this place is doing mad business.
After a good 20minutes of waiting I finally got to order, I got the bacon cheeseburger with relish, Mayo, mustard, grilled onions, ketchup, and jalapeƱo peppers. The burger was absolutely phenomenal I mean really really good, the cheese oozed out as I took a bite from the burger and the patty was nice and juicy perfectly grilled, I also had the Cajun fries which were nicely fried and had a tangy spicy flavour.
I paid 15Ā£ for a glass of soda, fries and the burger which is a lot considering five guys are a fast food casual joint.
All in all I really enjoyed eating here and will go again very soon for their deliciously succulent beef burgers and fries.

Got to say, its not the best burger ive eaten, but its quite worth the que, the outstanding menu for five guys for me personally was not the burgers, but the cayenne chips, they are just so different and yummy that i demolished the entire thing before taking a picture lol
When you first see this place, the impression isnt amazing because it actually looks just like a big fast food place. However there is a reason why is always full. When we arrived the line was so big that we actually thought about giving up but we didnt and thank god. The service is really fast and you can customize your burguer with lots of different toppings. The time they take to make the order is unbeliveable little which makes even more amazing the fact that the meat is perfectly cooked and seasoned. The ingredients are really fresh and I had One of the better tasty and crispy bacon in a burger ever!
I think it is a big overpriced because the sides are not included. Still worth the price and definitly worth another visit!
Five Guys has a pretty good reputation when it comes to the hipsters of London so I was intrigued to check it out and see if I was too mainstream for it. Ā There are heaps of peanuts for you to munch on while you wait for your order. Ā If you get a regular soft drink, you can go over to the drinks machine which looks a bit like a futuristic teleporting machine and fill your cup with one of the many many options (who even knew there were over 10 kinds of coke?) If thatās not enough for you, thereās also free refills!
The chips are cooked in peanut oil which is (apparently) much better for you so it takes some of the guilt away and you have so much free reign with what you choose to have on your burger and all toppings are free. I chose the bacon cheeseburger and had it āall the wayā which meant it came with relish, onions, jalapeƱo peppers, green peppers, hp sauce, bbq sauce and hot sauce.
What more can a girl wish for.
'Make your own' Hamburger
One of the best fast hamburger joint I found in London. What was most unbelievable was that they were probably selling 2 burgers per second. The beef patty was fried to perfection with skin-on fries on the sides in a cup and some more thrown leisurely in the bag!
PS. You can customize your burger with various toppings they offer and munch on some roasted peanuts until you wait for your burger.

Well I did say it was battle of the burgers this week. Today I share my thoughts on Five Guys, Covent Garden.
Five Guys has become something of a cult hit. There's always a queue out the door and every foodie I speak to professes that I "must go there!!!!". So I did. Five Guys is like an epic McDonald's, on steroids but with quality ingredients, carefully selected options and the biggest drinks menu I have ever seen. The food is unpretentious; the interior is vibrant; and the staff are more welcoming than any restaurant I have ever visited. Hat's off Five Guys, I think you just took the burger crown.
Here's a little history lesson for you: Five Guys Burgers and Fries has been a Washington, DC area favourite since 1986 when Jerry and Janie Murrell offered sage advice to the four young Murrell brothers: āStart a business or go to college.ā The business route won and the Murrell family opened a carryout burger joint in Alexandria, Virginia. Under the guidance of Jerry and Janie, the Murrell family served only hand-formed burgers cooked to perfection on a seasoned grill along with fresh-cut fries cooked in pure peanut oil.
The family establishment was brought over to the UK in a 50/50 partnership with Charles Dunstone and has grown into a must-visit location for all Londoners. Five Guys are certainly proud of the impact the resturants have; throughout the interior are quotes, compliments and matter-of-fact statements from the international press professing how good your meal is going to be. It's almost like you're being lulled into believing your food is amazing before even biting into it.

The Five Guys menu is incredibly simple, but easily customised to fit your tastes. Chose your burger or hot dog, then add as many of the 15 free toppings that you fancy. Opt for fries if, unlike me, you can eat peanuts. The fries are cooked in 'tasty' peanut oil and depending on the variety purchased the cooking method will vary day to day.

The ingredients on this menu are mostly sourced locally, except from the peanuts and pickles. Alongside these great ingredients, the cooking and preparation methods adpoted by Five Guys are very specialist. The Irish grain-fed beef burgers are hand pattied every morning and cooked to order. The buns (or rolls, depending what you call them) are baked in the UK with a dense, fluff texture to compliment the extreme amounts of filling you can chose from. To top all this off, there are no freezers or timers in the restaurant - it's as fresh as it gets really!
For our visit we were taken care of by my new best friend Jean-Michel. Chef, waiter, cleaner and general great guy, Jean-Michel epitomises the Five Guys vibe; happiness, positivity and great food. Our every whim was catered to including being taught how to use the drinks machine.
Five Guys boasts an extensive drinks menu with over 100 options. These are all served from a drinks machine at the back of the resturant which holds everything from Cherry-Vanilla Diet Coke to flat Fanta. We took it upon ourselves to try as many drinks as possible. I started with a peach sparkling Fanta Zero then swapped to the Cherry-Vanilla Diet Coke which was out of this world delicous. Yes the sugar content is probably through the roof, but honestly it's worth the treat. Health fans look away now; Alex opted for the full-fat Fruit Punch Fanta which tasted like blended Refreshers with sparkling water, then a Peach Fanta, then a Brooklyn Beer which had a light flavour to compliment the food.

Now onto the star of the show; the food! I opted for a Bacon Cheeseburger - All the Way, meaning I had all of the toppings avaliable, while Alex chose the cheeseburger all the way with a mix of Five Guys and Cajun fires. As I couldn't eat the fries I also chose a bacon cheese hot dog all the way. Yes, I went to the gym A LOT this weekend.
The food arrives in an unsuspecting brown paper bag. The burger is foil wrapped and the fries come in a white carboard cup. As you unwrap the burger from its foil packaging the smells begin tor each the nose; rich meaty beef, salty bacon, creamy cheese... oh my goodness! The bun is a little squashed, which is a good thing as all the ingredients are now stuck together, and oozing with filling.

My bacon cheeseburger was truly wonderful. The meat was a touch dry for my taste, but it had such a hand made quality to it that I couldn't fault it. I wasn't much of a fan of the cheese, but it really worked with the rest of the fillings. Alex#s burger was equally delicious but he said the fries really stole the show. It's such a shame I couldn't eat the fries, but I suppose the peanut oil really is Five Guys USP.

My hotdog came a little later and was also, amazing. The meat was juicy and very New York Style. There was plenty of sauce and the bun was super soft meaning it sort-of crumbled to nothingness at the end! The addition of onions, lettuce, mushrooms, toamtoes and relish gave me a smug I'm-sort-of-being-heathy vibe, but obviously, there is not healthy option at Five Guys!

Overall I would absolutely reccomend visiting Five Guys. The queue is definitely worth the wait and thanks to their 2am closing time at the weekend, you're never too late to tuck into delicious grub at a great price.
Greasy but goooood. The food tastes so much better than it looks. I love that you get free nuts and so many flavours of fizzy drinks to choose from - peach Fanta is the one for me!
Tip: Go easy on the chips as the burger will fill you up!

My first ever visit to Five Guys and I wasn't in a burger mood, I know, maddness. Instead I opted for the veggie sandwhich, and it was exactly what I was looking for; just a nice, squidgy patty, crammed with mushrooms, tomatoes, onions and general yummy veg. With some chips on the side, I left satisfied, but not overly full.Ā
The place itself just has a generally nice vibe about it. The staff were friendly, the queue was short, and the tables were clean. Also I liked the simplicity of the red and white tiles, it gave it character but also conveyed its cleanliness. Just ticked all the boxes really. Ā
Obviously I will return, and adventure into the endless opportunities which is the Five Guy burger menu. Looking forward to it already.

If I'm in the area, wanting some junk food and willing to go that extra mile (money wise), I just jump on this one!
So far I've been able to avoid the loooooooong cues by going either really soon (before 6:30pm) or later on (after 9:30pm). If not, prepare to wait, and wait, and wait. ( no worries, you'll be rewarded in your taste buds).
The burgers are awesome, and I'm more than satisfied with the small one (the only difference is one burger instead of 2) as I can have all the add ins I want!
And the fries... Oh the fries! Keep 'em coming! Always fresh, always real, always delicious.
The only downside is the loud music and (controversial opinion alert) the beverage situation. Yes, it's awesome that you can have refills from here to eternity but... I'm not a fan of the choices you have. Way too much sugar per drop on every drink and I end up having to take a glass of water just to wash it down. Or go with the good old coke.
Nonetheless, I'll be going back over and over. After all it's all about the burger and fries, and those are winners of their kind!!!
A way better burger place than the likes of shake shack. Good down to earth burgers and an awesome bottomless soda fountain. There is always a que for lunch so be prepared to wait.
Love the classic set up of the restaurant it's so laid back. The star of the show is the nice, big, thick, juicy burger and thin crispy fries! Totally dig this place. But it's not somewhere I'd dine every time. Ummm, it's more like a much better version of Burger King! Quiet the experience though, cause I love how when you enter any good restaurant it gives off these vibes matching to restaurants atmosphere and ethos! Always a a long line outside of this place but the fries alone are worth the wait. Design your own burger is the concept with works really well they also serve hot dogs which are also really tasty. I think for a burger joint it is a little over priced but the food is if a very high standard.

Their normal burger comes with 2 patties so I normally go for little bacon cheeseburger which is very juicy and moist. I like that you could choose any toppings that you want although sometimes I get carried away and ordered too many of them so my burger nearly explodes. The size of the fries are also very generous so I tend to share a regular fries with my boyfriend. If you love soft drinks, you'll love to play with the drink machine as it offers a lot of flavour that you couldn't find in the supermarket (like tutti frutti fanta)

Something that has always caught my attention was how in the evenings, no matter what day of the week, people are always queueing outside Covent Garden's Five Guys. Prices didn't seem all that convenient, Ā£8 for a cheeseburger could be compared to the price you pay in a pub rather than in fast foods, and those Ā£8 don't include fries or drinks. You can get a drink for Ā£2.5 and then refill your cup as many times as you want, convenient if you decide to spend quite a lot of time in the restaurant, or if you plan on eating a lot.Ā
I had to wait in line to place my order, and then we all gathered in front of the counter where the employees were shouting the numbers of the orders, handing out greasy paperbags. It looked cool to me, having your food delivered in a paperbag, you could take it for takeaway or simply find a table to unwrap your lunchbag and dig in. Fries are fried in peanut oil that makes them just taste different, they don't taste of grease or oil, but you can actually taste the potato itself. The burgers, a decent size for the price, are very good and you can customise them with a range of free toppings that you can pick when placing the order.Ā

Throughout my London trip I was missing a good American style restaurant and it was such a relief when I finally found out one. The food is delicious and I loved the flavour of american food. It is situated in one of the busiest streets of London but it was worth a visit. The place was well organized and the service was prompt. Worth a visit!
This place is always crowded and I never had the patience to wait for long in the queues to grab my burger and fries. It was just yesterday that I got lucky enough to get my favourite hot dog without having to wait in a long queue. The hot dog was delicious and the fries were just appropriately fried. I recently tried this place and found it much better than other large scale chain restaurants. Even though this place is a bit expensive but at the end, it is all worth it. If you are looking for one of those rare burger with a soft drink supper then this is just the right place to go. Ever since I have found this one I have started going here very often. I have a major love for burgers. This place gave me a chance to chose the toppings myself on my burger which was just amazing. I went for bacon cheeseburger which consisted of double patty. I recently tried this restaurant of American Fast Food chain and I was pretty impressed with it. The food was pretty delicious especially the burgers which were the best I had ever had. The service was pretty quick and efficient with the staff being quite warm and friendly. The ambience was more or less that of a fast food chain. This place has a chain of it sorts and this is the first official restuarant that they opened up last summer. This place has been locally known as Obama's favorite! Away from London, I had been missing this restaurant and its superb food. When i came back, i Visited the long awaited restaurant and had to wait for merely five minutes outside to enter. The place was crowded and was buzzing with enthusiastic people. The burgers were to die for, just as expected.

I had visited this place back in New York and I was extremely overwhelmed when I got to know that it had even opened up in London. A meat lover paradise, this place offers very good burgers. the sides are also generous. the prices are reasonable and but they do not have any good options for vegetarians. Te service is swift. They play a lot of rock music in the background which is also very good. I shall visit again!
A great fast food joint. The establishment is nice, a small step up from other fast food places. And the food seems of much better quality, I also love how you can pick from a range of toppings for your burger. The burger however is not the best I've ever had, I find the meat to be a bit thin for my liking. Though considering this is fast food after all, I think the quality is great and the prices are reasonable. Standing Ā somewhere between the big industrial burger brands and the artisan burger, Five guys is a great place to eat good, fresh and tasty burgers. The meat is the star here, and the great flavor of the burgers counterbalances a certain lack of creativity in the recipes.
Do not expect extravagant burgers here, they are simple (although you can add some toppings such as onion and bacon) , but very good. The fries are also very tasty, being fried in peanut oil.
The decor makes you feel in a real american diner. Count Ā£12 for a complete burger, fries and drink meal.
To conclude, if you want a real old fashion burger, and focus on the taste, 5 guys is for you!

Went to Five Guys as my boyfriend spent one year in US when he was 17 and he loved that place. Thus, I went there with really high expectations.Ā
Well, I was not disappointed. Five Guys cannot be considered a restaurant as GBK, for instance, but neither a fast food on McDonald's level. I would say it is more like a high-quality fast-food. Not really fancy, but nice if you are in the mood. On the negative side, it is a bit pricey considering the way it is advertised.Ā
From an easy atmosphere, bit crowded and burgers wrapped in aluminum foil, you might think you want to pay a bit less, but still okay. On the other hand, you can fill your burger with all the ingredients that you wish and fill your drink as many times as you want. My boyfriend already knew it so we just ordered one drink and two small burgers which were not small at all. Ā
If you go on weekends, there is always a long queue at the entrance, but the service is quick and the guy at the door is funny and entertaining. Couple of details I like: the fact that you can draw on papers anything about Five Guys and stick it on the wall - you have a sense of involvement even though it might sound stupid but I thought it was fun, especially for children and...me - and I loved the walls themselves: they all have journal articles about Five Guys and its achievements and everything is red and white, really resembling the old American style.

As a Five Guys fan I have enjoyed quite a few five guys mealsā¦there is no such thing as too many! Located around London and other locations such as Reading, the company is fast expanding throughout the UK. An all American āno fussā diner where the burgers are the most important thing. Likewise the packaging very simple, giving more emphasis on the food waiting inside the plain brown paper bag, by now youāre taste buds are watering!
In my opinion Five Guys is a āburger jointā in-between McDonalds and a gourmet style burger. The āno freezeā meat and toppings are succulent and fresh enough to exceed McDonalds standards, yet the whole personality of the place maintains the āfast foodā feel with quick service and greasy burgers.
Itās clearly a meal that can appeal to all judging by the couples, groups of lads, intrigued pensioners and hungry families all queuing to get into Five Guys! Open until late, it not only satisfies all day but also provides a great meal after a night at the bar! Accommodating all there is an extensive range of free toppings you can add to your chosen meal, and also very tasty āskin on chipsā that arrive in a huge American portion! Likewise the drinks machine (providing all flavours of fizzy drinks under the sun) keeps people entertained, especially children and grown men who think theyāre children! The food, from my point of view is great. Filling, very succulent and tasty. It doesnāt leave you unsatisfied but leaves you craving for more instead, despite a very full stomach! I have spoken to people who havenāt raved about Five Guys so much. Some believe that the burgers are too greasy, which in truth they are, but it really depends on the person and what they like. However, despite peopleās dislike, they still wake up in the morning
with that moreish Five Guys Feeling!
A really good burger that relies on being precisely it: really good. Goodness in foil i a simple and efficient way.
Ive been there a few times and it never disapoints. The little burger is more than enough for me, dont be fooled by the name little.

The difference of Five Guys is not just on the burgers and how carefully they are made; but also, in the friesā quality which are not oily or too salty and look as homemade. In fact, the potatoes are always fresh and they arrive from a different farm every week. The prices are quite good, and the place looks very pleasant. Indeed, the walls are filled up by all the reviews they have gotten from popular newspapers and websites.
For these reasons, I would certainly suggest it!

Five Guys is an experience. It's always busy but the queue moves quickly and there's plenty of seating. When it arrived in London last year it was an instant favourite of the foodie-social-media types.
It's a limited menu but it fulfils all you would expect from a burger place. We ordered a cheeseburger each, and on the recommendation of the server, a portion of fries between the two of us. You can choose your burger toppings individually, or choose an option where they put a standard selection on for you.
However, and I still don't know why this happened, our cheeseburgers had a double burger on them. This is an option on the menu, but as we found out from numerous friends afterwards, is apparently not the standard serving and they were baffled as to how to ate it all. Whatever cynics. I'm a big fan of the two burger thing. Do Five Guys properly.
Also, can we just appreciate that there are more than two hundred fizzy drinks?Self-serve genius. Go for that alone. It was like being in Willy Wonka's Carbonated Factory.
Go for an indulgent treat and be prepared to roll home after.

Did you know Five Guys originated way back in 1986 in the Washington DC area? Yep. I didnāt know either. In fact, I didnāt really pay much attention to Five Guys until I moved to London.
I remember when they showed up in a shopping plaza near me in the States. One morning I was leaving my local Starbucks drive-thru and noticed they were getting ready to open adjacent to it. Thatās all I have to say about that. I never went. I didnāt know anyone else who talked about it. The end.
And then one sunny day in January when Mr. Sunny and I were strolling through Covent Garden, I had an absolute hysterical laughing fit! There was a Five Guys on Long Acre, just south of Seven Dials and near Leicester Square station. And the line was wrapped around the building!
I can only explain my reaction in these words- WTF?! As inā¦. What the Five Guys!
āWere they giving burgers away today?ā I wondered.
Mr. Sunny didnāt understand my reaction. He knew Five Guys in London was an absolute phenomenon.
Seriously?
If youāre an avid Sunny reader, you know I favor Covent Garden. So, for months after that day in January, I walked by this place and was tormented. What the Five Guys was going on there?
There was never a line at a Five Guys in the suburban US. In fact, I thought it was a half notch above McDonaldās and maybe a few steps below TGI Fridays.
I continued to boycott Five Guys. There was no way I was standing in line for an American burger when I used to pass by the practically vacant burger joint every day in the States. Not. Gonna. Happen.
And then I got bullied. After posting how awesome my experience was at Shake Shack, I received a lot of feedback that I should try Five Guys. Mr. Sunny and his friends were some of the biggest offenders. My American expat audience remained indifferent. Geez, I wonder why? ;-)
So, you know what I did to end my little protest?
I took my mother to her local Five Guys in the States during my last trip in August. I figured if I was conceding, it wasnāt going to be on foreign territory.

And, just as I expected, the burger joint was empty.
We each ordered the Bacon Cheeseburger. And, we both really, really enjoyed our burgers.
I liked the numerous signs posted throughout the location that doubled as advertising too.
The experience was pretty good. Mom and I give it two stateside Thumbs Up!
Five Guys in London:
Next, I communicated to Mr. Sunny that when I returned to London from my holiday, Iād treat him to Five Guys in Covent Garden. I was hopeful, as the sign says above my head, that it would be the best burger Iāve ever eaten in my whole life.
I tried to go when I didnāt think it was busy, but we still had to stand outside for about 5 minutes in a queue. I rolled my eyes the entire time.
The inside was much different from the suburban Five Guys. Packed!
The menu is exactly the same. Except, however, the prices are a lot higher in London!
I advised Mr. Sunny to take it easy on the fries because the portions are huge. He was delighted to be able to order a beer. Thatās not an option at the location where I was in the States.
Yeah, I know. Thereās a lot of irony in the beer being a āBrooklyn Lager.ā Anyhow, we both got Bacon Cheeseburgers.
Again, the quality was exactly the same as my first Five Guys experience.
Of course, the Five Guys in London also has the numerous signs reflecting their praise across the United Kingdom.
So, this brings us to the biggest questionā¦ which was betterā¦ Five Guys or Shake Shack?
Mr. Sunny and I both throw our votes to Shake Shack. Itās not a landslide. We both agree that the Shake Shack sauce is the winning ingredient in our mini āAmerican Burger in London Competitionā. And for me as a blogger, I really love how much Shake Shack does on social media, both with interacting with me and what they post.
Five Guys was really, really good. However, Iām still SMH every time I walk by and see a queue. How about you? Do you feel the same about them as I do? Londoners, please explain to meā¦

Not a fan of fast food. Nether the less, five guys burgers are absolutely divine.
Cheap, tasty and won't make you feel guilty about what you've just eaten.

Yeah pretty sweet. Maybe this unprecedented proliferation of burger joints across London will not last forever, but in the meantime definitely check out this place, with rad burgers and a cool style. Burgers rule, London rules, you rule.
Does what it says on the tin and in style. Covent Garden location is perfect, it's spotless, and quirky, what with peanuts and a board stating the provenance of the potatoes - today's were Dutch - both traditions that have carried on from the opening of the first 5 guys. The newspaper clippings on the wall spell out the story, the plaudits, and awards for the best fries and what not. But it doesn't claim to be anything more than it is, a GOOD quality, WELL made burger, with the added bonus of total customization - i had a little cheeseburger with jalapenos and hot sauce, loved every bite. Fries are excellent. The peanuts are a nice touch. The line moves fast, and the orders are called up fairly queeck. Not the BEST burger in town? But who cares, it's a damn good burger and I'll be back, not too frequently though ;) FYI - a little burger is ONE patty and a regular is TWO. a little was plenty for me. LITTLE fries is enough for 2 to share.

Let me start off by saying that Iām not a burger snob. I donāt look at a burger and turn my nose up as soon as I see a sesame seed bun instead of brioche. Do I prefer a good strong slice of mature cheddar in my burger instead of the tribute act of cheeses, American burger cheese? Absolutelyā¦ But itās not a requirement.
With that said letās move on to the review.
Iāll begin at what should be the end: I liked it. I went for a bacon cheeseburger topped with pickles (theyāre called gherkins damnit!), lettuce, raw onion and both ketchup and mustard and I enjoyed every bite. Iāve read on numerous sites how the meat in Five Guysā burgers are bland and tasteless but I disagreeā¦ But I completely understand why they say that, and Iāll get to that in a minute.
First I want to talk about their fries. You see Five Guys fry their fries in peanut oil (A fact they let you know by decorating the interior with boxes and bags full ofā¦ well, peanuts) and this annoys me on two levels:
1. Youāre basically telling people with peanut allergies to piss off.
2. It gives the fries such a terrible aftertaste! My God. Who the hell wants to taste peanuts while eating fries? Fry the damn things in an oil which will result in your fries tasting like fries.
I canāt complain about the portions thoughā¦ As the sheer amount of fries they literally shovel into the bag is staggering and could easily be the entire meal itself without the burger (If that person likes peanut flavoured potato.)
But enough about the fries, letās get back to the burger and on to the the part which really confused meā¦ That burger that I enjoyed, along with those funky tasting fries and a bottle of water cost me almost Ā£15.
Donāt get me wrong, Iām not against paying Ā£15 for a burger and fries but when youāre charging that much, youāre getting mighty close to doubling the price of a meal at Honest Burgersā¦ And thatās where we come back to the claims that Five Guys have bland and tasteless burgers. Theyāre not bland, nor tastelessā¦ but thatās when comparing them to burgers that fit into the same category. Places like kebab shops, Burger King, Mcdonaldās and the like.
Five Guys is not a gourmet burger restaurant, but itās priced like it is. Itās price forces Five Guysā offering to be compared to burgers on offer from the guys at Honest Burgers, BRGR CO and Patty & Bun. When you push yourself into that category youāre going to be judged on a whole new level, and thatās when Five Guys falls apart. Itās grossly overpriced.
If Five Guys were charging Ā£6-Ā£8 I think youād be seeing a lot kinder reviews surfacing online. But at the price they are charging, and with those fries (seriously sort that shit out) itās extremely hard to recommend going there when Honest Burgers is only a few minutes away with their supremely well made burgers and rosemary fries that are so damn tasty that I thought I saw Jesus when I first bit into one.

After a long day in the burger office, we decided to visit Five Guys with four of our guys. Queuing up to the counter with a bowl of nuts to start is always a good touch. After placing our orders with pretty much every topping available, we sat downstairs in a little corridor passage which was a great laugh as we all managed to smack our heads onto the tight narrow passage way. After demolishing our burgers and uploading the photos onto instagram, we decided to call it a day and make our way home, full and satisfied by the grease that was soon to be digested unfortunately.
We shall be returning very soon indeed.
Sloppy. Satisfying. And not in the least bit good for you. No. Don't say the lettuce. Don't say the cheese. Do not say the tomatoes are fresh and it counts. And don't tell me it's balanced. It's awful for you. But after a night out, the only thing that can satisfy you is another regretful decision at Five Guys.
We Love Food, It's All We Eat

The thing that made me most want to try Five Guys was the Evening Standard piece on owner Charles Dunstone. Despite the un-restauranty Carphone Warehouse bit, he oozed passion and determination, traits we are always drawn to whoever they come from.
We waited for the craziness of the two new ārivalā US burger chain openings to die down slightly before we ventured to Covent Garden to check them out. There is such pressure to be the first to try anything new, but we stepped back a bit and held off. We even turning down an invite to a Shake Shack preview due to an earlier committal to a grown-up dinner ā we didnāt regret it.
Anyway, Five Guys was still heaving a week on, queues down the road and a buzz of (organised) mania inside. An impressive scene in the kitchen of military precision burger building. A slightly clinical shiny, red, white and black interior with random boxes of monkey nuts everywhere we turned. They are free to snack on while you wait, or if youāre still hungry after.
Five Guys involves three queues, one outside, one to order and another to collect your order. Whoever decided that collection point would be on the corner where people are constantly trying to get past should be reprimanded. I left Ade to it and snuck off to the slightly less busy downstairs area. Some cute little booths at the back looked tempting but seeing as it was just the two of us I stayed away. The most exciting thing about FG is the Coca Cola Freestyle drink machines - touch screen refillable drinks Ā£2.50 at the ready, you chose your drink then can add an extra flavour, worth returning just for that alone. They missed a trick not having red cups though.

Burgers, Fries and of all things Dr. Pepper with no pretense. When you crave a REAL burger and not a proper one, this is the place to be. This is the prototypical "in your face" approach to dining.
Order the cheeseburger "all the way", little fries and Dr. Pepper. The sodas are totally refillable so knock yourself out.
Yes, it is messy, if that bothers you go somewhere that serves a "proper" burger.
In my book "proper" is a four letter word. It is code for pretense.
In the Five Guys vs Shake Shack debate? I'm slightly veering towards Five Guys, mostly due to the huge portions of fries you get (no need for more than a small!) and the AMAZING drinks machine. Love the endless supply of free monkey nuts and the fact that you can order online ahead of time.
The burger itself? Slightly on the dry side but it's cheap and so much better than McDonalds. Plus, you can add a huge range of toppings and the cajun fries that you can order to go with them make up for that. I've been there several times now and it is my go-to if lost for a cheap bite in Covent Garden.
This place knows how do to burgers and knows what large portions are all about. How can you go wrong with unlimited refills and monkey nuts. And the largest small portion of fries I've ever seen.

Walking into Five Guys is like rewinding 13 years. Groups of teenagers huddling around one meal, stretching out those fries to last as long as possible. Admittedly, this is a bit off putting, but if it's good enough for Barack, it's good enough for me.
Five guys prides itself as not using frozen food, and this is clear by the use of their shop floor as storage space - crates of peanut oil, posters advising that today's potatoes are from Holland and the propaganda police out in full force with numerous quotes marvelling at the burgers dotted everywhere.
The menu is really straightforward - you pick the burger you want and you can mix and match any of the toppings you want, without charge and subject to endless customisation.
I've been advised that the portions are pretty large and so a small is the way to go - and since this is my first visit, I go classic. Little Hamburger and Little Cajun fries. I love that Relish is a feature on the toppings menu so I've gone for ketchup, mustard, onions, gherkins, relish and Jalapenos (In case you wanted to emulate my mastery)
There are a ridiculous volume of staff here - this one Five Guys store is probably alone contributing to bringing down unemployment and I can't figure out what even half of them are doing, but it does mean that my burger and fries arrive quick smart, hot and freshly cooked.
The burger is fantastic. While it may seem like I'm in your standard fast food outlet, the food is not at all the same. My meal has cost about the same as a similar meal at McDonalds/ Burger King and in the quality of the food at least, is infinitely superior. The bread is a little moist but that's about the only comment I could make.
The fries though were just genius! Thank you Five Guys for not skimping on the cajun and not making them namby pamby but properly coated in cajun spice. Utterly fantastic.
I suspect though that the kids actually come for the below. This Coke freestyle machine that has (rumour has it) over 125 flavours of soft drink, most of which aren't readily available over here so you can make as many bad drink combos as you like! Alas, I went boring and had diet coke.

Yes, yes and thrice yes! I've walked past here many times and noticed that there was always a long queue to get in but have never been inclined to join it. This evening however I found myself queuing and boy, I'm so glad I did!
They don't offer much - even the hotdogs are off the menu and 'coming soon' - but what they do is finely honed and churned out to a high standard. By our quick calculations we reckoned they were doing 100 orders an hour, 2 burgers per order at Ā£9 per burger - there's money in them there burgers!
Simply choose your burger, toppings, fries and drink, wait as it's cooked to order then pray for a seat to open up or take your brown bag of goodness away. I went for a bacon cheeseburger, which consists of 2 patties made from 'certified stamped prime fresh beef', topped with ketchup, mustard and jalapeƱos with Cajun fries. I'm not normally a fries man but these are excellent and highly addictive, so much so that I ate every single one up and craved even more. They're also cooked in peanut oil so are healthier than the average chip! The burger itself is simply amazing, a juicy, tasty example of exactly what a bit of meat in a bun should be. It might not look like much but for me its all about the taste and quick as a flash it was gone and I was happily stuffed.
A damn fine burger in a slickly run American style diner that all burger fans should try.
UPDATE: I've been here 3 times since my first visit and Five Guys burgers are consistently tasty, juicy and simply great, and the delicious hotdogs are now available too. Five Guys all the way!

Iāve tried a lot of great burger joints in the UK, but none have come close to the idea that Iāve had in my head of a juicy, messy, American burger. However all of that has changed.
My boyfriend and I headed down there in the evening, so we knew it would be quite busy. We were told that the queue time was approximately 30 minutes, but we were too excited to care! As we inched closer to the door, we chose what we wanted on the menu that weād been given.
When we finally got in we were directed to the ordering queue, we werenāt waiting too long as there were about four tills open.The interior decor was extremely American, red and white everywhere with booths and stacks of potato sacks making up the decoration, really nice and fresh.
What happens is you choose what burger you want, and then for no extra charge you get to choose from a range of toppings and can choose as many as you like!
I decided to go for a cheeseburger (which consists of two patties) with pickles, grilled onions and ketchup. My boyfriend ordered a Bacon Cheeseburger with a number of toppings. We ordered two sets of fries to share as we wanted to try the Cajun Fries as well as the Regular Five Guys Fries. We decided to share a drink as it was free refills and each drink was Ā£2.50. After discovering the Coca-Cola Freestyle drinks machine, we soon realised that this was a mistake we would not be making in the future!
Before we could even tuck into our food, we had the mammoth task of deciding which drink we were going to have! The Coca-Cola Freestyle machines offer over 100 drinks choices and we were pretty excited about this! So as you can see in the picture collage below, you choose a regular drink such as Coke, Sprite, Sprite Zero etc. and youāre then given the choice of flavours to add to these drinks! A personal favourite of mine was Peach Sprite Zero, it was absolutely amazing! We also tried Raspberry Coke Zero, Strawberry Sprite Zero, the list goes on, but a lot of fun!
Onto the burgers! I unwrapped my silver foil to reveal the most appetising burger I had ever seen. I tucked in and immediately knew that this was one of the nicest burgers Iād tasted! The meat was juicy, the cheese beautifully melted and getting to choose your own toppings adds a personal and satisfying touch to your burger. You donāt need to waste any time pulling out ingredients you didnāt want in there!
The fries were equally as amazing. Great texture and seasoning and the Cajun fries were just as yummy, with that little kick of spice, but not an uncomfortable kick. We polished off our burgers pretty quickly and even whilst sitting there, already couldnāt wait to return!
Iāve seen some reviews comparing this to gourmet burger restaurants such as Byron, however, this isnāt that sort of restaurant. Itās somewhere in between that and McDonaldās (but a lot better than McDonaldās!). Itās important to remember that this is still a fast food restaurant but a good one at that! At 830 calores per Cheeseburger though, it's more of a treat feast if you're watching your waistline ;)
Overall we really enjoyed Five Guys, every element of it was an exciting experience. The burgers were great, the fries were awesome and the Coca-Cola Freestyle machine is worth a visit in its own right!
I tried it today at lunch time, little burger and fries, i didn't need any dinner ! Typical American burger, not fancy but very filling (whereas I would consider Byron as more 'european' burger). To try.

Five Guys is a magnificent addition to the London burger scene. As a frequent visitor of GBK, Byron and Shake Shack, I was intrigued by Five Guys.
They did not fail to amaze. An extremely tasty, juicy burger with brilliant 'real' potato chips. The choice of 10+ fillings for my burger always leaves me spoilt for choice. The fountain drinks add a bit of America to the place with over 100 drinks on offer from their magic Coca Cola machine. It's a must try for anyone. I am now a frequent visitor!
Note: can't give 5 stars as it is a bit pricey for a burger and sometimes you can wait up to 10/15 minutes for your burger - which for a fast food restaurant isn't brilliant. I suppose you could say that's just a pitfall of popularity.

Presented in a ghetto grocery bag, with standard foil; Five Guys doesn't hide behind gimmicks and fancy presentation. The burger speaks for it self.

The bun could have been toasted, but what it lacked in presentation it made up for with it's beef.
Two patties cooked and sealed together with cheese, then loaded with onions, tomato, lettuce, mushrooms, peppers, pickles, mustard, mayo and ketchup. (Or you can mix it up, this is just what I went for.)
He was too big for me to take an equal bite from head to toe ;]
If you're looking for a dirty burger, where the cheese just oozes, and after the first bite you're covered in burger juice. Here he is in all his glory.

My only gripe is that the restaurant looks like a glorified Macdonald's with seats designed to be uncomfortable after a short period of time, and that the chips were a tad over salted for my liking. BUT overall, I have had better burgers in London thus far. Nice try America.

If you can get past the uncomfortable seating, and the cheap decor; the burgers are pretty badass. But I've had meatier/more flavoursome patties for that price.

I went to Shake Shack the other Burger Restaurant from the U.S. I've also had McDonald's and Burger King, plus many years ago Wendy's when it was here, plus not forgetting good ol Wimpy.
But FIVE GUYS is the best I've ever had.
The burgers are fantastic, I had a Cheese Burger with 10 toppings on it mmm 10/10
I had the Cajun Fries, man the best fries I have ever had, so tasty. mmm 10/10
The place had the Coca Cola Company Freestyle Machine with 100+ drinks, I had Raspberry Cola, you can fill up as many time as you want. mmm I give the machine 10/10
No milkshakes was the only downside, but you get free Monkeynut Peanuts :)
Price wasn't cheap but it's a burger restaurant, a treat.
It's nothing like McDonald's or Burger King which are not even in FIVE GUYS league and that's not including Burger Kings horse meat scare and the fact that they microwave their burgers, yuk.

My little bacon cheeseburger was amazing! Fries were hot and salty, and my husband loved his hot dog. Great place for delicious burgers and fries!!!
Very clean and the service was fast. Got our food in less than 3 minutes from ordering it. I could see it was a really slick operation properly managed.
The food was really nice like you normally get in a Five Guys. We went here about y months ago and it took 25 minutes to get the food so I was pleasantly surprised this time.
I can't resist the free peanuts, the spicy cajun fries or the fully loaded 'all the way' burger with extra jalapeƱos. The chocolate milkshake is a thing of beauty too. Yes it's one of the most expensive fast food outlets but for a special treat its worth checking out.
There are so many advantages to this place: Free refill of all kinds of beverages, Great fries, nice burger, weird people, free toilet.
However: two burgers in one day are just too much burgers for one day.
In conclusion: grab some peanuts š„ for free (we haven't).
Milkshake:
The vanilla milkshake with bacon bits at Five Guys was a game changer! It was so good that it nearly gave me a cholesterol shock, but boy was it worth it. It was thick, creamy, and rich in taste, just the way a milkshake should be. The only downside? Those pesky paper straws that kept breaking before I could even finish this cholesterol bomb of a milkshake! But hey, it was totally worth the risk of a straw malfunction for that heavenly milkshake experience.
Big chain of burgers, large portion of chips and the burger was ok, there are a lot of this stores in london, the space is pleasant, they add won some rewards for there burger and special for the French fries.
five guys always delivers delicious food. yes, itās a bit on the pricey side but itās worth it because you know youāll always receive a good meal. this location has a smaller seating area on the main floor, but downstairs has more than enough tables to always find a seat. make sure to get the cajun fries & the seriously good mayo!!!
Another great lunch at Five Guys š¤¤. I had my usual, cheeseburger with fries š and a drink. Added mustard and pickles to the burger to make it juicy and God was delicious. Friendly staff members š
Had dinner here last night. Food was up to the usual standard and highly enjoyable. One star knocked off for a moody member of staff at the counter, and also the large chips portion was smaller than at other branches we've been to. Still, a nice hearty meal!

If you know, you know! Five Guys arenāt anywhere near as common as weād likeāand this was one amazing. The burgers were appropriately sloppy and the fries as greasy as anyone could want.
Iāve never seen one with such ample seatingāespecially in a major metropolitan city. The toilets were initially confusing as they donāt have signs but once one goes far enough one way or the other, the answer becomes obvious.
For anyone craving a proper heart attack-inducing meal, look no further. Highly recommend the Cajun fries and the Oreo shake.
Keep in mind that everything is ridiculously expensive on this cityāand Five Guys is no exception. This meal plus three shakes was north of Ā£70. Be. Prepared!

Came for dinner and my partner got a cheeseburger whilst I got small fries and a coca cola diet raspberry. Fries are always great at five guys with a very generous portion for small. my partner enjoyed the burger too! I really liked
the free refills and the large amount of drink options.

You can re fill your glasses as much as you want and in addition the normal burger is insane I recommend the little one but the normal itās also fantastic!

My favourite branch of Five Guys in London. The food is always top quality. The cheeseburger and cajun fries are some of the best you can get in the city. Five Guys is still my go-to place for whenever I fancy a burger.
Great as always! They had the order sĆŗper fast! Delicious and very good quality-price relation. We order one large fries for 2 and didn't even ate them all!

The food was pricey, but the seating was cozy with enclosed personal seating, the drinks were refillable (with multiple flavors e.g Strawberry Dr Pepper, Peach Sprite, etc.) Good quality burgers, large portions of chips.
