It's an amazing place for drinks! I didn't try the restaurant yet but it's on my to do list! I highly recommend E&O to everyone who is looking for the place to be before you go to the club ☝️❤️

Fantastic day yesterday with my son and sister. Food was great, service top form. Lunch at E&O is deffo one I'd recommend. The waiter (a young chap) was very helpful and friendly, the other staff were very pleasant indeed. Will be back 100%
WOW! Have just had my Birthday Dinner in the private dining room and everything was done to absolute perfection. From our reception on arrival, cocktails, exquisite menu, attentive service, aesthetics of the room, place settings, lighting and music I could not have asked for anything more. When I first enquired about taking the room I was told their aim was 'to take care of everything so that I didn't have to worry about a single thing' and this was carried out with precession for every request and everything I forgot to address, I cannot thank them enough!

If you're ever in Notting Hill, ditch the tourist trap restaurants on Portobello Road and come to E & O. Just a stone's throw away from the bustle of Portobello Road is this fantastic Asian fusion restaurant. The decor gets it right by being slick, refined yet hip and comfortable at the same time. Everything is amazing at E & O. We started with some salted squid and it was perfect. Menu offers a few maki selections; as simple as it was, the spicy tuna was nonetheless stellar. We then had duck and chicken green curry. These dishes are usually not very pretty. Not at E&O. The prettiest bowl of curry I have ever seen with mouthwatering diced sweet potatoe, succulent chicken and a bunch of other delicious ingredients. Portions are bit small at E&O which is a pity and the menu is a bit limiting; but everything you will order here is guaranteed to put a smile on your face. Last but not least, they serve Asahi draught; how cool is that? £40 a person.

E & O (for Eastern & Oriental) in Notting Hill is part of Ricker Restaurants (by Will Ricker) serving Pan-Asian food. It was buzzing with people when we went late on a weekday evening and we thought the buzz was by virtue of it’s location (just off Portobello Road), and soon found out that it was because of the delicious food served at E & O. Inside E & O In Notting Hill London In E & O Notting Hill London The dishes we liked the best are the quinoa, pomegranate and edamame salad, the chilli salt squid, the prawn and chive dumpling, the black cod and prawn shumai and the chicken green curry – all are must order dishes at the restaurant. The pictures in this post do not do enough justice to the delicious food at E & O. I promise to get better pictures the next time I go there and I hope to be there soon!

The menu combines the best of Japanese and Chinese cooking into refreshing and unique dishes like lychee & cherry tomato curry, black cod shu mai with pepper miso and soft shell crab with jalapeno. E&O (Eastern & Oriental) is part of Will Ricker’s restaurant group, which includes Eight Over Eight, XO and Great Eastern Dining Room. It’s a stylish restaurant with a sexy bar and a main dining room. The first impression matched Hakkasan , the people watch crowd and the colourful cocktails going around. Weirdly, tables were covered in paper cloth, the ones in China Town restaurants where waiters can just take off to get the tables ready quickly without cleaning. One time only wooden chopsticks and cutlery were placed in a bamboo holder on the table like you
...this place is amazing and well worth going to. It's not cheap (the pink shrimp tempura was £18.50) but for a special occasion or if you don't need to worry about such things, it is worth every penny.
E&O has a great, very hip atmosphere with a fancy cocktail bar at the front which seconds up as a waiting area whilst they prepare your table. And a more peaceful, yet still very lively dinning room at the back.
The menu comprises of a vast selection of Japanese and Thai dishes. All of which is very fresh and very tasty.
Unsurprisingly, as is the case with the vast majority of eastern cuisine, the prise for head is rather high, but realistically, what else were you expecting to find in a trendy restaurant in the trendy part of town?
Well worth a try as I highly recommend it.
E&O is a nice and lively eatery that serves good mix of Thai and Japanese food. You have the choice between good Dim Sums, Sushi, Thai curries, the list goes on. I recommend you try the snow crab maki with shiso soy, ask to see the bottle if you can. Special mention for the wine list too.
The atmosphere is friendly although it's usually packed and a little bit noisy with west London's crowd. Otherwise, the decor is slick and modern. The waiters are friendly.
I definitely recommend this place and it's not overly expensive.
The place to see and to be seen!
E&O is expensive but a fun friday night dinner. The bar is also great and it's a nice way to finish a long week at work.
The food is good, I always order the Thai Curry and Chilli Salt Squid. E&O also has a few sister restaurants (one on the Kings Road and one in Swiss Cottage) - worth checking out too. The atmosphere is less lively but slightly cheaper.
Great vibe, always full on a weekend night e&o is great for a night out with friends. The salmon tartar is amazing and so is the pad thai. Great food at decent prices, I love this place. Must book.
Great tasting food and prompt service. The sushi was a bit of a let down, nothing special, especially when compared to the other dishes which were amazing.

Good selection of cocktails. I wouldn't say the atmosphere was great - perhaps the room is too big? It was pretty much empty when I entered and I didn't even notice lots more people had come in by the time I left.
We went for a night out with a couple of friends to e&o and we all enjoyed it. The food was delicious and the service we received was awesome. The servers were very attentive and friendly. Our favourite dish was the ribs.
We were greeted by a warm and funny woman and sat at Bashir’s table - really perfect service with great recommendations and also very warm and funny. Food was the best Pan Asian food we’ve had and the portions and spicing were perfection! Will be back absolutely!
Very friendly neighbourhood modern Pan Asian restaurant with a
great selection of dishes - an amazing Duck, watermelon & cashew salad; moreish edamame beans with kimchi butter and Wild pink Shrimp tempura with chilli mayo.
For the mains we shared the Black Cod and a good Pad Thai while desert was a warm chocolate fondant but my favourite desert was the Yuzu passion cheesecake with passion fruit sorbet.
Very recommended.
The food was absolutely AMAZING! The fried chicken was the standout for me! So tender and juicy. Loved all the dim sum and as always, the pad thai didn't disappoint. Not cheap but so good!

When looking to celebrate a special occasion Anniversary with a lively fast paced restaurant. It will be E&O located in NotttingHill Gate, Cocktails are just delicious with great choices, food selection having so much to choose from whether sharing plates or ordering so much to eat you won't regret it. Service efficient, great knowledge of the menu. Your sommelier helping with the choice of your wine. If you enjoy Pan Asian food stop by. You must book as it a busy and you don't want to be disappointed. A congratulations drink would be a nice touch. Overall awesome.
Every dish was excellent. It's not cheap but, for London, it's proportionate and fair, and you are getting the quality you pay for. Our sons verdict was it was the best food he has eaten, which to be fair isn't the most comprehensive survey in his 13 years. But his review isn't wrong to share. The service was great, and this is one I will go back to for sure.
Fantastic tunes at lunch. Food was outstanding - the black cod & duck salad were my favourites but the rest was so good too.

Afternoon lunch after a walk in portobello road.
Sushi starter with mint, watermelon duck salad and a pad Thai.
Salad was amazing from what the mademoiselle says, sushi was okay, didn’t feel very freshly prepped, or maybe was the rice.
Pad Thai was okay 👍 tasted better as this was a bit too sweet which over powered other flavours.
Service was great!! Waiter was friendly and knew dishes and asked for allergies :)

Great supper at E&O. Very good vibe and the dj was doing a fantastic job. What really stood out was the exceptional service we had from Bashir.
Enjoyed a really nice dinner here with friends. They have a great covered outdoor seating area so I’d highly recommend choosing that if the weather is nice. The dumplings, ribs, squid and duck salad were particular favourites.
Lovely service, really good. The prawn and avocado salad was lush and the tempura prawns.
Music could of been a little better but we made it work
Lovely place in a lovely area. Accommodated 2 of us booking at a late stage for same evening. Very attentive. We did have to ask 3 times and 3 different people before they brought our edamame beans out that should have come with the starters.....they came out just before the mains. We were on a small table for 2 so quite an operation of removing the lamp and anything else we could think of to fit the dishes on the table. The waiter was very helpful though and the food was delicious. Would visit again.

We had lunch outside due to the Covid-19 policy and everything run nice and smoothly.
I personally had a Roasted Peruvian chicken with lime, chilli, pomegranate and guacamole salsa.
For dessert I chose a cheesecake with white chocolate, soft merengue on top and passion fruit sorbet.
