Great food and lovely atmosphere at The Hill. Everything was so fresh and cooked beautifully. The seafood starter, grilled asparagus and t-bone steak were particularly good and the staff were very friendly and professional. There was the added bonus of a talented guitarist playing beautifully. A very enjoyable evening celebrating our wedding anniversary. Definitely recommend this hidden gem.

Wonderful food, delightful family run restaurant (down to the artwork). I had been coming here for a number of years, and we were lucky enough to have our wedding here. The food was magnificent, and it is always a pleasure to dine at The Hill. Every meal is created with the best ingredients, and with care and thought. A very special place in London.

An absolute hidden gem! Lovely place, cute garden terrace, delicious food, great customer service. We have ordered cream prawn stuffed avocado, olives and bread for starters, linguine con gambas and pollo di crema fungi for mains , and it was all delicious. Best sangría I have had ( better than in Spain) We were treated with free garlic bread to start and Portugal muscato to finish. All that, whilst the Team knew we had a gourmet society discount. We will definitely come back soon!

On arrival I was the only customer. This was a little concerning when there is around 100 covers. However, this was Wednesday early evening and by the time I left around 20:00 the restaurant had become busier. I thoroughly enjoyed my special starter and main course. I thought both were excellent and the service was friendly and laid back. The restaurant is spacious and well furnished. Highly recommended and I will return.

Fabulous meal. Lovely friendly staff. We had the ceviche starter and the steak main course, followed by sharing cheesecake & almond tart. A lovely bottle of Malbec preceded by a pisco sour. Highly recommend a visit.

Have been to The Hill many times, we love it there. The chorizo appetiser and their Quattro Formaggi pizza are out of this world! Have never had a bad glass of wine their either. This restaurant accept taste card which is always useful, however they will add on a '£2 supplement' if you order a main from the carne menu.

Rigatoni al cinghiale - pasta with a wild boar ragu. Wild or not it was such a good experience. great meat and flawless pasta. I also tried tiramisu which was so good and would recommend for sure. It's a nice restaurant situated outside of the heart of Greenwich but it seems that is not a problem at all. They have lovely staff which is huge advantage as well.

Love it. Super friendly staff who always go to great effort to ensure good service. The food quality is excellent with generous portions and plenty of flavour. If ever in need of a good takeaway pizza I go here as I've tried others and they do not compare. Highly recommended!!

Hidden Gem. The Hill is a wonderful little restuarant and bar hidden at the bottom of Point Hill in Greenwich.

The menu is always seasonal, tasty and well considered. Worth a trip for the selection of English wines on their wine list alone.

About the best pizza I think I've ever had. Pasta was a good experience as well. Positioned up the hill away from the tourist traps. Nice place to catch up with friends.

I found this place on open table, and I was looking for a place to celebrate our anniversary with my partner. It is half an hour walk for us from Isle of Dogs. It is located in a very quiet and nice neighbourhood in Greenwich. The restaurant is spacious, we didn’t see the outdoor area because it is cold and dark. It is quite spacious indoor. We were seated in the back of the restaurant. we arrived quite early around 6:30pm. It was quite empty when we arrived, so we were worried that if we made a good choice coming here. There are many dishes from the menu, and they all look pretty good. Between two of us, we ordered three Tapas, calamari, chorizo, and bruschetta. I was craving for steak so I picked the 400g Argentin steak, with Chimichurri sauce, grilled vegetable and chips. I ordered medium rare and it came perfectly. I can taste the burned fat with charcoal taste on the outside. It was tender and soft on the inside. A glass of Spanish house wine was perfect with the steak. My partner ordered a Peruvian beef rice it somehow tastes a bit like Asian food, gingery. At the end of the meal, we ordered an Argentine time style dessert called Alfajores. It is like two cookies with caramel in between like a sandwich. Yum! The serving staff were very attentive and nice. Good service in general and we’ve got two desert wine at the end of the meal for free. Menu could be found easily on their website and it is up today. We’ve got very stuffed and we were paying around £100 for two.

Wide selection of dishes, all nicely cooked and flavoured. One of the waitresses was super sweet, there is no service charge to the bill. Would recommend a visit if you happen to be in the area.

Following my second visit to this beautiful restaurant, I definitely have to give my 5 star review. Excellent / friendly customer service experience and fantastic / delicious food. Please keep this up - you have raised the standards high and we understand there is some tough work behind this outcome.

We popped in quite late on Tuesday evening and was greeted by a lovely lady and gentleman. We were explained about the family behind the restaurant and the paintings on the wall all being from the family and how the menu had elements of different countries. The staff were so lovely, we started with the croquettes and also the plantain with Feta which was a combination I never knew I needed in my life! My Gf then went for the seafood pasta and I had the steak with homemade chips, salad and chino hurries which was excellent. We have recently moved just around the corner so we are very excited to be back to try a few different dishes!! Sorry for the lack of pictures and the one bad picture. I took this and my phone ran out of battery! Thanks again, see you soon…

A decent restaurant in the Greenwich area though personally I find it very average for London despite others’ exceptional reviews. I came with my sister and we ordered the paella and 3 tapas (the grilled octopus, the garlic mushrooms, and the calamari). The paella had a lot of toppings and the mussels were especially fat and juicy. But overall there was nothing standout. Food was good but not amazing. I’d consider coming again but only if I was out of options or ideas.

Very cosy restaurant with great food! Good value for money too. Everything tasted good but would highly recommend to try mushroom croquettes, fish ceviche and patatas bravas. Will definitely be back!

overall the restaurant is good with a nice Mediterranean style design and generous portions of food. The guests of my company were full. Of the not entirely pleasant details that introduced a slight dissonance, I remember the uncleaned( apparently from the previous evening) burnt out candles in glasses on the table.🥹🤗

We really enjoyed the food there as the food was fresh with flavours. The only exception was the sausage that was salty with alcohol for me. The wine was okay, but not amazing to match with the food.

This was our first visit to this restaurant. It was a pleasant 15 minute uphill stroll from the Cutty Sark. Since we were a little early for our booking we went a few minutes further up the hill to appreciate the wonderful night time vista of the City. The restaurant is like a Mediterranean cantina with a taste of South America. The tables do not crowd out the room and the walls are decorated with Latin American paintings. It has a very nice ambience and is child-friendly with a separate children's menu. My 5-star rating is based on the principle that this is an excellent example of a "cantina" with a good menu and well prepared food. The service was excellent and friendly. The pricing was st the upper end of cantinas and is fully justified. Aside from the usual pizzas and tapas options there were some Argentine and other south American dishes. I chose an Argentine starter (chorizo) and main course (patarashka - sea bream steamed wrapped in banana leaf - see photo.) My wife had chicken in mushroom sauce. All very well prepared and enjoyed. Nothing fancy, just a nice evening out.
