I went to Maxwell's with my colleagues whilst on a work trip. We Googled gluten free food and found the bar and grill. From the off, the waiter was fab. So friendly and attentive. The food was yummy, burger done exactly how I wanted it. I have a gf diet so it was extra good to have a gf menu. And very yummy deserts too. Plus, happy hour on cocktails. Deffo 5*, many thanks!

Been going for years. Never had a bad meal or service. Opposite Covent Garden tube station. Great location Great atmosphere. Excellent valid for money. Would recommend for either meal or just cocktails. Look out for happy hour. 😀
Come here today for my birthday on a first visit and couldn't have had a better experience, food was amazing best steak I've had in a long time, great cocktail choice and the staff couldn't do more for you. In particular our waitress Lenka who really made mine & my friends day and due to her service would definitely return, thanks for my Birthday balloon! �
Visited on 24 March for lunch, absolutely fantastic from arrival to leaving. Service and food could not be faulted, steaks cooked to perfection. Would definitely recommend
Went New Year’s Eve didn’t book a table got seated straight away and service was really good got our food quickley and it was lovely, it was my second time back and would highly recommend it. Staff were brilliant.
My friend took me to Maxwells tonight for a pre-birthday meal. Just wanted to give all the staff who severed us a big thank you. They were all super friendly and attentive, food came out very quickly and was lovely. The little extra measures they took to mark the occasion was really appreciated- would recommend to anyone.
Celebrated my sons 18th birthday here yesterday. Food was delicious and staff were fantastic. They even allowed us to eat our own cake for dessert when I know this isn’t possible in some restaurants.
Expensive prices in general, but excellent food, music, happy hour discounts and very friendly service. Valentine was so kind with us, will definitely go back!
I have been here a couple times and it has been amazing each time! The last time I went I got the sharing platter, big shot Burger and a cookie monster freakshake which is probably way more than any normal person would eat. It arrived in good time, the music was good and everyone enjoyed their meal. Make sure you book in advance as they are usually pretty busy!
A decent American diner with good food. Though given the quality of food, the price is little on the higher side. The menu is limited but well curated. I tried the sirloin steak and the red hot chicken. Visited the place twice so far and will definitely go again. Though getting a table for dinner is a bit tricky here. The dessert menu should be upgraded. I tried the triple baked cookie and didn't like it much.
Enjoyed the vegan chilli but the vegan burger was the better option, a nice generous portion of avocado. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Would be good if they could add vegan dessert options to the menu.
I celebrated my birthday at this restaurant and it was an unforgettable experience. The children had a blast, thoroughly enjoying their meals while also being treated to colour pens and paper that featured the menu. The milkshakes were delightful, but the Coca Cola float could have been better, as the ice cream had melted into the drink causing a bit of a mess. The highlight of the evening was the complimentary birthday cake and the staff singing a wonderful birthday song. It truly made my birthday extra special and unforgettable.

The space is very pleasant, with vintage decor that transports you to the United States of America. Good musical choices, fantastic food and superb drinks.

Great astmosphere & great food with fun milkshake options as a great alternative to cocktails.
I was particularly impressed with the children's menu which was fun & a real pre-theatre treat.
Service was a little slow with a minor mix up & consequent delay with our dessert order but apologies were made instantly.
The prices were very reasonable in my opinion & again particularly the children's menu which was excellent value for money.
Would certainly visit again when we visit London.
Excellent meal last night. Prawns for starters, well cooked. A tasty New York burger for main. Staff were welcoming on arrival, accommodating our request to sit upstairs. The waitress polite and friendly. Food arrived in a timely manner. Will revisit.

Went there recently for a birthday meal/date and it was perfect! Food was phenomenal, full of flavour, fresh and hot.
The staff are so friendly, never had such good customer service in a restaurant. When they bought over my girlfriend's dessert, they put sparklers in there despite it not being requested and they sung happy birthday to her. This made her day and she was very happy with the meal and dining experience overall.
Our server's name was Dennis, and we did have him when we dined here the first time. His service is excellent, the most polite, smiley man I have had serve me at a restaurant. So if you are served by him then consider yourself extra lucky!

My family and I had a lovely meal at Maxwell's. The booking was efficient, we were seated quickly and treated with smiles from all the staff. The food was delicious but the star of the show was the cocktails. We also enjoyed the 90s vibe music that was playing. We thought it was quite clever that the bill broke down the price per person for those who were splitting. All in all a great experience.

We came on a Sunday afternoon and it was quite busy, but the staff were so attentive, especially Emily B! She was very lovely and made sure everything was okay. It was my friend's birthday and they gave her a birthday brownie, which was sweet of them. The banoffee freakshake was also good! Really recommend the ribs

We chose this spot as a pre-theatre meal and it was a great choice. The portions are very generous as you can see in the photos. We ordered the rack of ribs and the short rib which were both very good. The service was pretty quick as well, which is good if you are going to a show. We planned to use our tastecard here, and there was a little bit of a delay in getting our bill sorted just because of this.
Been wanting to try here since I saw it on tik tok and Instagram. Was on a solo trip to London so decided to book a table before seeing a show.
The service was fantastic and friendly. The food was incredible and tasty. I had the Mac and cheese and sweet potato fries and was glad I did!
My only issue was the heat! Saw someone saying about it online but it felt like the heating was on full blast!
