Sagar Vegetarian - London - Photo album

Stick to South Indian food! We ordered Mysore masala dosa, masala dosa and aloo puri chaat. Dosas were nice but the chaat was a disappointment, not authentic. I wish they had better choices of chutneys like what you would get in a South Indian restaurant rather than just 1 which lacked flavors. Ov
Decently priced and portioned South Indian vegetarian cuisine. Best for lunch time special masala dosa/ sambar combos which are satisfyingly spicy and filling. My last evening meal seemed quite expensive in comparison as service charge bigger ?. The onion bhajis were over crisp with some minus enoug
wow!!!!!!!! wowowowo!!! soso amazing so many vegan options and every single thing we had was incredibly flavourful - amazing value too!! will defo be coming back here one of the best indian meals i’ve ever had for sure, highly recommend :))
Tasty food and not overly expensive. Lots of vegan items on the menu. Everything flavourful, nicely spiced, and the servings are generous and satisfying. The "paper dosa" is a huge cone of thin, crisp, rice-and-lentil pancake. There are vegetarian and vegan wines available. Popular place, even on a
Lovely food! Had chole bhature, aloo chat, dosa and filter coffee. All of it was amazing, perfectly flavored yet not over-spiced or greasy. The ambience was perfect, felt like I was eating at my favorite restaurant in India.
Finally tried Sagar, the vegan and vegetarian South Indian restaurant. They have branches all over London, and I visited their Hammersmith branch, which was very cozy and had a pretty authentic vibe. I obviously needed to try their Dosas, so I went for a Masala Dosa. It was great! The Dosa was bea
Good service. Decent food. Staff was courteous. The only thing that surprised me was that there wasn’t anyone - I mean customers- at peak lunch time. Don’t know if it is seeing less Footfalls. Really good if you want to have veg Indian cuisine. Ordered matar paneer, chapatti and puri.
Reminds you of home. Very traditional taste of India and feel so happy being here. Simple dishes with extra ordinary taste. Almond drink is a must try option. Excellent service and very tasty South Indian food. This is my second visit and delivers to the expectations. Would definitely recommend and
As someone who grew up in South Asia, I couldn’t recommend this place enough. It felt extremely authentic, our whole table highly enjoyed the quality and taste of the food. The dosas are just so tasty!
This was phenomenal! We’re both vegan and had the Vegan Thali, Masala Dosa & Samosas—all were fantastic and we’ll be coming back again one day. Ask for a side of their fantastic mango chutney 👏
Average 4 stars says it all. The food was unremarkable but nothing was bad. The good thing is you are not going to overeat here. And the sambar was sweet. Why?
Nice vegetarian restaurant with large section of different Southern Indian Dishes. Cover starters, mains and desserts in large variety. They might be a bit spicy to an inexperienced platter but I found it just stunning. It's fancy Indian food, not so cheap
Still some of the best vegetarian and vegan Indian food in London. Prices have gone up but remain reasonable. Excellent place for a couple or large group.
My third visit to this restaurant while staying in the area. I'm working my way through the Vegan options on menu. Food based on South Indian food and always interesting. Not fine dining but decent value Indian food. Staff (older men when I've been there) are highly knowledgeable on the menu. I had
