I had an incredible experience at this Persian restaurant in London. The ambience was absolutely amazing, creating a delightful atmosphere. The food surpassed my expectations with its delicious flavors and enticing presentation. Additionally, the staff were exceptionally warm and friendly, making my dining experience even more enjoyable. Without a doubt, this restaurant is one of the best Persian establishments I have ever tried in London.
Incredible experience of Persian Food
Recommend Tahchin, fesenjoon and ghormesabzi . Visited couple of occasions and always enjoyed high quality food and hospitality.
Friendly staff
Lovely place with nice decor. Staff we're friendly, funny, and helpful. In calling ahead they were accommodating. Food was fantastic. Rice was crispy and the eggplant starter (don't recall name) was one of the best dishes I've had in a while. Highly recommend, will be returning
Wonderful food and incredibly friendly staff. We dined here with our one year old. The staff were so friendly to our kiddo and took great care of us.
Food wise: we shared a number of starters and were quite pleased with each one. We chose a couple with aubergines and enjoyed those a lot. The flavors were both interesting and familiar. I ordered a saffron martini as a drink which was delicious. Highly recommend this restaurant!
Lovely restaurant. Is a bit hidden and the place is rather small but the atmosphere is intimate and the food is delicious. Great decoration and ambience. The lamb is mind blowing, you don’t need a knife to eat the tender meat, truly outstanding.
This rather secluded restaurant is really worth a visit. Once you're there, you will be met with truly inspiring experience of Iranian / Persian atmosphere, culture and cuisine. The atmosphere of the place makes you feel like you're in Iran!
The food didn't let down either which was top quality, made from fresh ingredients producing a truly authentic taste in every meal. To top it all off, the staff were extremely friendly and attentive, which is quite rare in London!
My partner (Persian) and myself went to Belgrave for dinner and it was absolutely amazing. We both have rather high expectations when it comes to Persian food and Belgrave outdid them. The hospitality was as mind-blowing as the flavours! Can only recommend if you want an authentic, well-priced experience of Persian food.
Delicious, delicious, delicious. Dived right into a fantastic Persian experience. A first bite into their moreish burnt aubergine dip sends us into rapture. Saffron beer, tah chin (a savoury, chicken stuffed rice cake) and a melt-on-your-fork lamb neck with herbed rice were just some things to remember. Truly great.
Amazing food, amazing service.
We came late and they let us in even though the kitchen is closed, and they were extremely nice and polite. The food was delicious, we asked if they sell their pomegranate sauce and the owner was kind enough to give us a bottle for free. We stayed late and they called a taxi for us and insisted we stay and wait inside the restaurant even after work hours, thank you so much for this wonderful owner, workers and service!
Absolutely amaaaaaaaaaziiiiiing.
Fine dining, superb service, exquisite food, wonderful atmosphere, one of the best Persian restaurants in London 😍
Can't describe enough how much I'm in love!
Hats off to the chef Hamed for the amazing food, Dea our waitress - worked with care love and humour, making our night and Farshid for going out of his way to make us comfortable ❤️
Belgrave was a wonderful experience. The service is simple & personalized (the waitress took the time to suggest my one appetizer regarding my first choice she made me changed my mind - she took the time to explained me the presentation of the dish). The restaurant is charming, well decorated and clean. The dish are prepared with attention, tasty & generous in term of portion. The food is also quite cheap; 5-8£ for a glass of wine, between 3-6£ for appetizers and around 12-13£ for a main course.
I really enjoyed my experience and I would recommend it to anyone who had not tried before Iran culinary food.
Lovely decor, nice atmosphere. The service was great. The food presentation was amazing.
I'm not sure if the bread was freshly made. The portion of ice cream was very small. I don't like that they served Saffron pudding with pomegranate juice.
Exceptional service by Farshi. Brilliant ambience and almost private dining experience ! Wonderful food , sourly refreshing lavashak mocktail and generous portions.
Cannot wait to be back to host another ladies night 💗
Thank you for a wonderful and creative experience. This is not your typical persian restaurant. The menu is full of creative flares on top of some amazingly authentic and tasty persian receipes. The service was great. The only minor downside was that we were charged for a bread that we did not ask for. But they were generous and provided us with lavashak and larger drinks. I would highly recommend belgrave as one of the best places for persian food in the city.
Wonderful surprise. I find the majority of Iranian restaurants in the UK seem to have a copy and paste menu, in that you basically know everything that on the menu before you have opened it - Belgrave is much more. To clarify - they don't do grilled kebabs, but I see this as a positive. Yes - they have a lot of the classic dishes, but what really sets Belgrave apart is the attention to detail in terms of presentation, refinement, and above all Flavour. The ambience and service were both excellent. We greatly look forward to our next visit.

I can't believe I haven't reviewed this place.
There are some great signature dishes; the Tachins are just brilliant.
The Sharing board is a big recommend and I very much enjoyed their lamb shank. I need to go here far more than I do (I live in Cambridge).
But I held my birthday here pre-pandemic (December 2019) and had a rather large crowd (20-30 people). Everyone who attended raved about the food (there were some Persians as well) so definitely do go.
Honestly I've been to a ton fo Persian restaurants (I'm half and I speak the language pretty decently) but I like Belgrave as it has a great mix.
(1.) Location; it's easy for parking and getting to.
(2.) Service: the staff are *really* friendly.
(3.) Food: the food isn't ur run in the mill; the proprietors' grandfather was an Imperial Chef (no jokes) and it shows!
(4.) Aesthetic appeal; it's a beautiful place so really hits that smart but not formal spot that j'adore.
(5.) Pricing: it's reasonably priced, you definitely get ur monies worth!
Apologies I simply shared the picture of my party but I thought it would give an honest rendition of events (and my doggo & his friend who attended)..
Apart from their good service and beautiful atmosphere, I really liked the taste and design of the food.
It’s Iranian restaurant, the food was amazing they gave us very good recommendations for the food and it was really amazing. The restaurant atmosphere is nice with Iranian music. The desserts was also so delicious. The restaurant is small with few tables so it’s recommended to have a reservation before you go.
