Tas Restaurant The Cut - London - Photo album

Absolutely delicious Turkish food south of the river. Near the Old and Young Vic and The National. Great two course and wine set menu that is a fabulous deal. It's a perfect pre or post theatre spot and worth a trip just because. Good for vegans and vegetarians too.
Super accommodating staff… nothing was a problem, even when we sat there for ages after our meal not asking for the bill. They weren’t packed though so I guess we would’ve felt obliged to let others take our seats. But I’ve been here before when it is packed not having booked, and they still found a
Tasty hot food. Good service. Resent the service charge automatically added. Surely that should be consumer perrogative? Having said that, we would have left a generous tip anyway, but I like to have a choice.
We were recommended to this restaurant by our hotel. And it was a great recommendation. Food was very well presented and yummy. We had the hummus, coban salata and the Tas special which is a lamb dish. Food portions were generous. Service was friendly and prompt. Recommended!
Nice restaurant. Greeted on arrival and shown to the table. Then it was a long wait with waiters avoiding eye contact and congregating by the bar. Eventually managed to find the guy that sat us. He took our order. The meze plater for two was great. Especially the shrimp and calamari. Not quite sure
First visit since before the pandemic and it’s as good as ever. Prompt and friendly service, pleasant surroundings and tasty food. Suggest you leave space for the cinnamon topped rice pudding. Excellent value for money. One of our London favourites.
Wide range of choices with many options for meat eaters and vegetarians alike. We had items from the set menu. Mixed starters then moussaka for one of us and calamari for the other. We both had soft drinks and tap water. Total bill was around £50. Not cheap but not terrible. They lose a star as the
Musaka tasted really good and the shared meze for starters. Carrot cake was delicious too. Thank you. Excellent service.
Two kids and 3 adults seated within a few minutes @ 8:15pm on a Monday. Food came out quickly. Someone had a bday celebration; very short, courteous to others, yet enjoyable. Food was wonderful. Cheese was fresh. Hummus had nice texture and taste. Overall, great experience from such a small stree
Had a very enjoyable evening, Al fresco meal at Tas, the restaurant is very well known in the area. The set menu, which included two starters and one main, was tasty and filling, rounded off with Turkish Lager, and an Irish coffee, magic.
