Friendly serving staff. Good tasty dishes with big portions. Fully recommend roast duck, nice and lean with full of flavours but not too tough, just as it should be!
Amazing Chinese food spot, one of my favourite dim sum and roasted duck. Delicious food, not oily and affordable price in central London so far. We loved fried king prawns with sales egg yolks so much. Worth a try if you're in the area.
Really love the roast duck here. I usually not a duck eater hence this place is the only place where I have my duck cravings. My must go to places whenever I come to London. Their signature eggs is also another dish to die for. One of the must order dish for me. They have the signature crispy duck
All I can say is wow this place is amazing and is easily the best Dim Sum we have had in London, perhaps even the UK. Delicious food, not oily and the prices for central London are reasonable. The BBQ honey roast pork on rice is also really delicious!! I can't recommend this restaurant enough. If yo
Very delicious roast duck - much juicier and fattier than what you might get in Asian countries. The morning glory with sambal chili is not spicy enough for my Singaporean tastebuds, but still a crunchy and delicious vegetable. Atmosphere is as authentic as they come, bustling with activity and nois
Food arrived super fast. Duck was amazing but the pork quite dry, the fried dumplings were average and I wouldn't recommend the 8 mini spring rolls (tasted like the frozen ones from the supermarket). Service charge is included on the receipt but they said the tip goes to the staff. In the UK the se
- Roast duck rice: duck skin could have been crispier but meat was tender and juicy, and the fats really melted in the mouth. The rice and gravy were really comforting, and definitely ask for chilli because it ties everything together. - Prawn cheong fun: the cheong fun could have been thinner but
As the description says, this is a no-frills Chinese restaurant. I'm posting this after the second vegetarian fried noodles and can confirm this is exactly what I was looking for - the authentic fried noodle flavour, nothing more, nothing less. This is the taste I'm looking for whenever I feel like
Duck was tender and juicy, morning glory is garlic sooooo good and beef with black bean sauce delicious. Duck was the star but everything we had was top notch.
Not my first time in Queensway’s Gold Mine. The food is definitely amazing. Staff is friendly until it’s time for you to go. I was still having my last bite and they brought the bill and left it on our table. Not the best experience but understandable on a busy Friday night. The food is definitely a
Had roasted pork rice for take-away. Portion sizes were great and the food was delicious! The servers was nice and accommodating as well. I’ve dined in before and also had a great experience. Would definitely recommend!
Authentic Cantonese food! 😍 Highly recommend the sweet and sour prawn, roast duck, Yangzhou fried rice! All the food was very flavourful. Choy sun was a bit greasy but still okay Staff were nice and friendly and service was quick.
The best roasted duck in London! Though people often think about Four Season when they think of roasted duck, in reality Gold Mine reigns supreme on this category. Other dishes are also delicious. You will not be disappointed.
Gold Mine, situated near Notting Hill, offers a satisfying experience for lovers of Cantonese dim sum. I found the quality of their food to be quite good, with a variety of options that did not disappoint. This is a place where you can enjoy a meal without worrying about "stepping on a mine" – every
Good morning! . The London sightseeing tour turned out to be a food tour now 😝 . Todaybwe had brunch at Gold Mine Restaurant and I love it very much! The roast duck, BBQ pork, crispy pork, dim sum, drunken chicken, etc are the best!!! . We will definitely visit again! . Reservation is seriously reco
Amazing and authentic Cantonese food. Really enjoyed it. Our favourite is royal china but this is a good rival. All the right dishes and the taste was excellent. Food comes so quickly and service is decent. The only thing is I wish they gave us chilli oil and soy sauce from the start. Otherwise exce
