One of those places that are perfect that special treat. Bring your parents or loved one for some classic French cuisine served in style. Best to be a little bit well dressed, as a suited and booted crowd frequent this establishment. Sommeliers work the room, waiters cater to your every need and kitchen delivers outstanding food.

One of the most romantic restaurant in London?

Rather difficult to find as it tucked away in some corner at an alleyway somewhere in Hatton garden but near Farringdon station or if you get off at Chancery Lane you'll be fine too.

The restaurant is underground, we were served some fizz whilst waiting for our table to be ready.

Tables are placed reasonably away from each other so you will have your privacy.

Service was attentive enough and very pleasant.

I'm not sure about the romantic aspect, I also have been to clos maggiore in Covent Garden and find it 5 times more romantic (and also better food).

Unlimited fill of bread with a butter decorated by a little heart, cute, huh?

Also on a date so couldn't take pics( I pride myself for phone manners! :p). Starter I had scallops and it was cooked well. Main, we shared Chateaubriand and it was such good value, perfect medium rare beef and yummy roast Vegs. Dessert please go for the chocolate lava or fondant, the inside indeed will melt you away.

Would I go again? Yes but I won't rush there although the roast beef was good, it was nothing really special and I didn't feel the restaurant was that romantic, or maybe I wasn't in the best of mood.

One bottle of wine shared between 2 and all the above, bills came to 170quid ish

A lovely French restaurant with amazing hospitality. To begin we were seated very quickly and offered a apperitiff. The menu is simple with mouth watering dishes described to almost taste it. Its a romantic restaurant with a little more talk from around the room then the soft strings of a violin. However all is not lost with the food that is served. The starter was to die for perfectly balanced crab and cray fish with lemon drizzle fresh salad.
Main course had to be of a high standard. Sea Bass with Michelin star mash with butternut squash. I have no idea how to describe the taste. It was amazing. The chef Julienne Marshall deserves all the compliments. This isnt an everyday go to place but definitely one to try for an occasion. Ive seen some great cheese boards, but none of this scale on a trolley with huge blocks of cheeses to choose from.
The desserts at the end well try it and find out.

I first made a visit to the French Bleeding Heart bistro a few years ago where I tried snails for the first time. They reminded me of mushrooms which I'm not too keen on, but apart from that the rest of the meal was great, with fantastic service and atmosphere. I recently came back to the courtyard in Clerkenwell - but to the restaurant. I must say that the atmosphere and vibe is very different between the two places. The restaurant is a much more formal affair. Our dinner was booked fairly early and so it was very quiet, and smaller than I had imagined in my head. That said, I very much enjoyed my evening there, the staff are very welcoming and helpful.

I went to bleeding heart restaurant with my wife on our anniversary. We both loved everything about it. The busy yet intimate ambiance, interesting decor of sketches of a variety of grapes, the attentive service and of course the gorgeous food the menu was very appealing which made me want to order almost every single dish. It's a classic place that you'll want to visit

The Bleeding Heart Bistro, is situated in the Bleeding Heart Yard just off Greville St in the heart of the City of London. It is a French style bistro with pavement cafe seating. There is no traffic in the yard and the enclosed space is free from traffic. We sat outside and it really felt like we were somewhere in France. The tables, the canopy over the tables; along with the red and white theme, really set the scene for a French dining experience. The service was excellent, efficient, friendly, and we never felt rushed or hurried. Would I go again, yes I would, it was a lovely place to eat and we had a fantastic meal.

the food and service was 10/10 Loved every bite of it 😍 Maybe think about the design (the lack of it) of the inside garden / balcony? Did not match the outstanding food :)

Stunning food. From the beginning we received the most attentive service. Patient and carry, the entire team phased in our paced. Food wise, we loved it all. Starters, mains, cheese (these folks understand cheese!) and dessert, everything was of exquisite quality. We're a bunch of folks who love wine. The Bleeding Heart is just all about the same Philosophy. Top end food, quality service and cracking wine.

Great staff and attention to detail. The food was cooked really well and the staff were attentive and didn't leave us waiting. The poussin was well cooked but a bit lacking in depth of flavour, the aioli did save it however. The sea bass was cooked well and the skin seasoned well and crispy. We would definitely come back for another try at the a la carte menu.

Friendly, helpful and attentive staff - and delicious, well-presented food. We ate al fresco, in the secluded mews in front of the entrance. It was a haven of calm in the midst of the bustle of London and that added to the dining experience. It was a real treat - all the more so because, at those prices, it's not something to do every day.

Lovely little courtyard for alfresco dining tucked away from the hustle and bustle of Chancery Lane. Good value set menu lunch, with classic bistro fare. The roasted aubergine with wild mushrooms was a nice twist, though. Excellent service. The one thing that could be better is the bread, but that's a minor point, and the salted butter was very good.

Absolutely fantastic classic French Bistro in the heart of Hatton Garden - beautiful outdoor (covered) dining area in a quaint cobbled courtyard with the friendliest service and delicious food. We came here for our annual boys' school reunion dinner and we loved it. Highly recommended

Really great place but the quality of the food went down by a lot in my opinion. They did offer the dryed out over cooked fish for free and pointing it out to them.

Bleeding Heart Bistro is a good restaurant. The food was good quality. I enjoyed the seared tuna entrée. The grilled Lobster was OK. The pineapple tatin was the best dish I had. The staff were friendly and attentive.

Traditional French bistro with woody and red decor. Couple of mins walk from Farringdon station and 6 mins walk from Chancery Lane. Staff very warm, polite and friendly. Good social distancing and safety measures. Although I would recommend checking temperatures before entry. Food was good. Could have been served hotter but I noticed the kitchen was an annex outside the restaurant. Good selections of wine, well lit and a generally lovely ambience.
