Vijaya Krishna - London - Photo album

At Vijay Krishna, my wife and I were enveloped in a world where culinary artistry and tradition converge. The Onion Bhaji, crisp and infused with a melody of spices, set the stage for a memorable dining experience. The Chicken Samosa, a harmonious blend of succulent chicken encased in a delicate, fl
Four of us just randomly discovered this restaurant while exploring Tooting Broadway. I must say that was one of the best and authentic South Indian food. As you can see on the photos we have ordered a lot! Lol Everything was delicious! Service was very good and waiters very polite and helpful. We'l
really cosy lovely local south indian restaurant the people who work here are so welcoming and friendly the food was delicious i loved the onion salad and the popadoms especially the beetroot pickle—the prawn puri starter was delicious fresh little prawns with a really tasty bread. we had the green
Got the Kerala fish curry and the Fish Mollie with the Kerala parathas - both were decently good although the description says it’s made with kingfish which I love but the actual curries came with tilapia which was a tad disappointing.
Lovely meal and a great service. This restaurant is certainly good value for money. Between three of us we ordered 3 curry’s to share, 2 portions of rice, 2 portions of different breads, and a side dish… we couldn’t finish it all 😅. Thankfully, they were kind enough to offer to box the remaining foo
Good restaurant, nicely decorated with a welcoming feel. Food was good. I’ve given a low score for atmosphere because it was so noisy we had to almost shout to be able to hear each other. Maybe it’s a Friday evening thing, or maybe because the decoration of the restaurant (all wood) amplifies sound.
I wanted to try this restaurant for a while and finally went with my son last night. Despite it was busy they managed to get us a table. We were very impressed, we had so some fabulous food. I strongly recommend the fish molee. Lovely and lively atmosphere and great service.
“Unbelievable value. Food was ok as far as curries go. We’re part of a curry club, looking to find the best curry spots in town. We’d go again but we won’t be telling people about it on our death bed. If I could give 3.5*s I would but have given 4 for the benefit of the doubt. 3 being good, 4 being
I was craving for the porotta and chilli chicken. Porotta was little bit dry was crispy lacked fluffiness. Chill chicken was amazing with right amount of sweetness and spice level. I would definitely order that mango lassi again , it was thick and sweet. Service and the presentation was excellent.
I love it, I love it, I love it... Strongly recommended!!! You enter the premises - you enter some kind of spa. It's not just food there. Everything is relaxing you, calming you down, cheering you up. The smell of the spices is completing Everything. These really grabbed my attention and they will
Great Indian with the usual dishes as well some different ones that are south Indian. The fish molee was nice and coconutty and the tomato curry is great as a side. We ordered poppadoms, dosa, three curries, rice and paratha which came to £28 each. This was definitely overordering but made for great
Delicious food and lovely atmosphere. 100% recommend the southern specialties - the fish and prawn curries were outstanding!
Second time here and we DO LOVE IT! The Service and the food match each other. It feels authentic and very fresh ingredients
A lovely Indian rearestaur, which prides itself on it food, ambiance and service. The person serving us was extremely caring and patiently answered all our questions about the food. We had a masala dosa, a Kerala fish curry, a Alleppy lamb fry and lemon rice. The food was tasted delicious. The decor
Our party of 3 adults enjoyed a relaxed meal here on a weeknight. We shared the Mysore dosai and Mysore Masala dosai, Kerala fish curry, lamb green masala, okra/aubergine theeyal and 2 rice dishes. The food was REALLY tasty. Favourites were the dosai which came with raita, curry, and the Kerala fish
Had a friend’s 50th here and the restaurant couldn’t do enough to make it special for her. Wonderful food, atmosphere and located a 3 minute walk from Tooting Broadway.
Nice portion, tasty food, I ordered butter chicken. But they need to be careful with SALT BECAUSE THE CHICKEN BUTTER WAS VERY SALTY FOR ME.
