five stars is still such an understatement for this amazing coffee shop. full stars for the perfectly brewed coffee, but my personal favourite, the smoothies and iced teas. I would highly highly recommend stopping by purely for the products alone. a special, well deserved mention for the owner though. a wonderful great guy who, no matter how long and tedious the day has been, will always make conversation with you, always try and put a smile on your face and is honestly my go to when I need a little motivation boost. There aren't many places you can go where you are buying a service but receive so much more in return. i cannot say enough good things that would even come close to how wonderful this place is.

What a fantastic coffee shop. Family friendly. Lots of seating outside also has a downstairs with extra seating. A wide variety of hot/cold drinks. Caters for lactose intolerant people. Serves food and cakes/pastries. Reasonably priced and feels great to support local businesses instead of major brands. Well worth a visit 5*

Lovely coffee and nice to sit outside on a sunny day. Right inside roman road market so can sit and watch the world go by. Hot food is freshly prepared and other snacks available. UPDATE 2021 has changed ownership and a lot of regular customers seemed to have migrated to other cafes. I have yet to try the latest coffee.

This little coffee shop is a gem in the east end. The owner (I'm sure his name is Andy apologies if I'm wrong) is very friendly and a fantastic sandwich chef πŸ™‚ the coffee was lovely and not over priced the panini was freshly made and had lots of filling and the quality of the food was definitely 10/10. I don't live in London but the next time I'm here I will definitely be returning. ❀

My preferred local cafe for several years. Good coffee & food, reasonable prices, the owner is personable and helpful, and there's a community vibe. Has an outdoor area looking on to roman road market.

Only place on roman road where you can sit outside listening to unobtrusive fun music and drink an excellent Italian espresso
