Meaty Monday visit! + Absolutely some of the tastiest meat I’ve had in London. Very strong and powerful but wow!!! + When there is a discount on meat this good, you can’t not come and try it! + Great vibe and atmosphere. + Really friendly and helpful team of people there. Ready to explain every dish / cut of meat / size and recommendations for each. Didn’t feel like they were just selling you the most expensive bits either. - Still not cheap but the food quality and taste is brilliant. Can’t wait to come back again and bring more people and try the virtual shooting range.

This place is unreal! Mac and Wild won best burger of the year and its clear why! Absolutely delicious. The starters were a perfect size and tasty. We shared both burgers and sides and its hard to say what was better the flavours were sublime and meat cooked to perfection. Excellent selection of wine and beer. Given the location and quality of the food, the price was very reasonable £35 per head with starters mains and drinks. Good atmosphere cool decor. Well worth a visit will be back soon!

The location is pleasant, just like the staff. Tried the award winning and was impressed. I personally enjoy venison, but I still think the average person would really like it. The desserts were also delicious. Couple this with an extensive alcohol menu and you have a great spot. The only caveat is that I felt that the portions are a little small for what you pay.

Food was excellent, service was brilliant, great atmosphere! Really enjoyed our dinner! The chateaubriand was perfect, we only ordered 600g which was just right with a salad main and a few sides. Will definitely come back!!

Becoming a favourite of mine, great meats cooked perfectly. Fantastic selection of amazingly tasty sides and smaller plates as well. Great whiskey menu and solid wine and beer choices too. Look forward to coming back.

Me and my brothers went here for steak on the recommendation of my brother in law who said he'd been before and enjoyed it. It's pretty easy to find, you exit Liverpool Street station from the main exit that leads onto the A10 Bishopsgate road, cross over and head down the alley with the cop shop. And it's in the little arcade, Square type dealio. Hope that helps...... Anyway went on a Tuesday night, and be warned it gets busy around dinner time, and they do sell out of certain cuts, so best to get there early during the week as you may not get your first choice of luscious Scottish Highland bovine meats. In the end my cohorts had some type of cow meat that I can't for the life of me remember what it was called, and I went for the classic ribeye, medium rare, a choice which I regret now because the parts that were medium were rather good, no complaints, but the parts that were a bit on the rare side were just so bloody tasty! Pun intended. Shoulda gone rare. I also went for the haggis poppets, which are essentially little nuggets of haggis, battered and then deep fried, with an accompanying sauce. They were also rather good. A bit expensive for what it was, but it's the city, so your gonna get city prices here. Back to the steak. The meat was thick, and well prepared, a decent amount of seasoning and cooked as I like. So credit to the chef in that regard, however my brother in law's cut was rather fatty and while mine had almost no gristle, his had a rather large piece running through it. He was however happy with how his was prepared, if not the quality of the cut, which for him left a lot to be desired. Cohort number three was more than happy with his slab of beef. But the fourth member of our party, whilst not claiming to be unhappy, he did mention that his wasn't perfect, on several occasions. And when you consider he was paying £65 for his steak, he had every right to be so discerning. Also his fork wasn't straight. Yup....... The other starters were two scotch eggs, and a salmon and toast dish, which went down very well. And the wine being what it was, was what it is. We had one gripe though, the special chips we ordered turned up cold, so we sent them back for some normal ones. The waiting staff were amazing pleasent, patient when dealing with diva boy, and always had a smile. There was a sizeable gap in the time between our starters and the main, but they were rather busy so I won't beat them over the head about that. All in all it was a good night of carnivorous consumption. Be aware though it is pricey, our meal which was three chips four starters mentioned above, a bottle of red wine and a glass of coke. Plus steaks, was £360. And at that price those steaks better be damn near perfect, and whilst I can't fault the service, two out of four isnt what you're looking for at that price point. When it's all said and done however, I personally had a great, if not overpriced meal. And now I am off to shower off all these meat sweats.

Venison steak with fries was very delicious, staff was really friendly and the atmosphere was pleasantly. It wasn't very busy when we went. Only downside is slightly expensive prices for the portion size and also limited choice on the size of meat when you want butcher cuts. Worth a try if you haven't had venison before or if you're in the area.

Love this place! Good drinks, whiskey and food. I don't have any photos of the sides but they're worth getting. We had the wilderness chips, Mac and cheese (both versions -- haggis and truffled mushrooms) and veg. I had the venison, 320g, medium rare with peppercorn sauce, should've got a bigger portion :) The beef steak looked delicious too!
