Excellent Indian street food - far better fare than is available at far more expensive restaurants. Kathi rolls and chat are highly recommended and are an authentic reflection of what one would get in Indian streets. Highly recommended!

Here is very ideal for quick lunch. Normally I don't like Indian cuisine but I wanted to try Kati because of its score. Inside is a little bit stuffy. It's customers are generally Indians as far as I see. Serving is self-service.

🍽Chicken Tikka Roll: Firstly, serving size is really small. You should eat 2 or 3 roll to fill properly. Taste is not bad but I wish there was no onion roll inside. I think onion doesn't going well with spicy chicken. And you should consider that it is a little bit hot. Price is 4.25£

This is the first Indian roll I ate in London and hands down the best. I have only eaten the chana masala roll here and it is amazing. The best part is the roti (bread) which is really light and crisp. 1 roll will not fill you up though, it is just a light snack (for me usually late night)

A friend of mine took me here coz I was craving Indian kaathi rolls! And what a delight.

A typical small Indian cafe style place. I had the egg roll and the chana roll and both were very authentic Indian and yummmy!! Loved it. my only disappointment was with the portion size which can be bigger for sure. The masala chai was great too.

Finger licking rolls, loved the flavours.

Quietly Bollywood posters welcome you at th4 restaurant and the loo it's like an oasis for an Indian looking for desi style anda and chicken rolls in the middle of glitzy Soho street eateries. Price is reasonable but quantity isnt so ensure you order more then 1.. no complaints.. you don't get anda roll that easily anyways

At first glance, the place does not look spacious but it is. The ambiance is great, with Indian music playing overhead and Bollywood posters lining the wall. The food is great but the size of the Parantha could be bigger, considering how much we pay for it. The Mango Lassi is very refreshing and everyone should try it!

This place did not disapoint! Don't let the shabby interior of the shop put you off, the team clearly know how to pack flavour into perfect kati rolls! Between us we tried the chicken tikka (got an awesome kick to it), paneer (healthy portion and pickle garnish) and beef (perfectly spiced and melt in your mouth).

I got two rolls and a bottle of water for £10, brilliant value for money.

Can't wait to go back and try out more of the menu!

Came here during lunch hour on a Tuesday. And boy was it busy! We just managed to grab a table. I ordered the chickpea wrap and dad ordered the chicken. We were both super impressed by the flavours. Such a simple delicious concept! Would love to go back when I'm next in London.
Only criticism is the size. I probably could've eaten 2 wraps. 1 wrap is good for a light lunch or snack :)

Just what we needed after a long trip from France and getting drenched in the rain. The Bollywood themed decor is fabulous. The only downside is the lack of seating available. There are only few tables since it's a small shop and it tends to get crowded during evenings.
The rolls were actually pretty good. We ordered two rolls with a pint of beer each and gobbled it up in no time. The pricing is decent, with an average of 5 pounds per roll. Worth a try if you're missing the rolls back home.

It’s always a delight to find authentic Indian food served in London and this joint tucked away right in the vicinity of Oxford Street is a true delight for the Kolkata craving. Kathi rolls were made famous by the Nizam’s restaurant in Kolkata before it spread all over the country and now right here in London this place is the closest you can get to that homely taste. I tried Paneer Achari(the most recommended), chicken tikka, egg chicken and beef egg. The tea was remarkably Indian in character. And above all the decor. It had a kolkata tea shop meets dhaba feel to it. This is surely going to be a regular for me now!

However I must admit that over the years I feel the wraps gotten smaller. But they still manage to keep it tasty which is important!

Good value and great snack/quick bite option. The unda beef roll is generously filled with tender, well seasoned meat and I find that the roti is more pleasing than most places tortillas. The texture is softer and the wrap itself, thinner. I do think that the wrap itself is filled with a bit too much meat relative to any salad or sauces that could also find home in a wrap.

Kati Roll Company is a good and relatively healthy option on a budget. The interiors are adorned with retro Indian posters, and they play Bollywood music to keep up with the vibe.
My usual favorites are the Chicken Tikka Roll or Shammi kebab roll and if I feel like eating something vegetarian the chana masala roll. The Alphonso Lassi and the chai are worth a try too. I love cheap food. Kati rolls are cheap. I'm a happy customer. I don't think I could eat this every day, though, because the rolls are kind of oily. But I do like spicy food, and it's nice to wash it down with some lassi. Definitely go here if you're looking for a quick lunch that won't break bank.

The restaurant itself has a kitschy, hole-in-the-wall vibe to it, which I like. I can imagine a lot of hipsters coming here at 1030 to grab a bite of "ethnic cuisine" before they sneak off onto a rooftop to vape and read Kerouac to each other.

I've had them in-house and I've had them at my house, the quality never compromises. They travel super well by the way.

Shrimp Masala is definitely a must, you cannot go to Kati Roll without trying this legend. It'll be confusing at first, you may not understand what's happening, but you will definitely enjoy the ride.

Another must? That. Mango. Lassi. Made with fresh mango pulp and organic fresh yogurt, this is the only drink (apart from water) that you should consume. Ever. So fresh, so well made.

I tried the vegetarian, it's good, not great, but good. Worth a taste.

They are so humble here, they know they serve a quality product but it doesn't get to their heads, they are all about quality and produce.

Visited Kati Roll by recommendation from a friend. Although I came at 3pm, way past the lunch rush, there were several orders in front of me and I ended up waiting about 10 minutes...so it crushed my hopes for a quick bite en route home. That being said, I was pleasantly surprised by the beef tikka roll- great flavours coated the meat, which was wrapped in an authentic paratha. Wasn't too oily or messy to eat on the bus (sorry fellow passengers for the mouthwatering smell) and stayed hot in its packaging. Kati roll also offers a 10% student discount! Hurrah! Would definitely recommend getting 2 wraps for a meal.

Was a long day of book hunting for uni and whilst in Picadilly Circus I thought, why not pop down to Soho to that Kati Roll Company everyone's been talking about? .......Don't mind if I do!!

Very easy to find and small place with a constant flow of people. The cashier recommended a Chicken Tikka and for two rolls and a healthy bottle of water it came up to under a tenner! Bargain! But, is the food up to standard??

They arrived and although they look small they are filling!!! Chicken was cooked perfectly ensuring there was a slight crisp on the outside and tender meat inside, the spices never overpowered the chicken or the roti wrap bread.

My only downfall to this was the cashier kept trying to invite me out and even disrupted my lunch to talk about a club, not my perfect idea of a quiet lunch in solitude but the food more than made up for it!!

I've heard of The Kathi Roll Company from my friends in NYC. I knew they had a branch in London and loads of my friends swore by the no fuss cheap as chips eatery.

Who doesn't like a good kathi roll after a few pints with your mates (or just anytime)? I did exactly that and I was not dissapointed.

I ordered the chicken tikka roll and the shami kebab roll. They are quite small and if you are hungry then please go for two. Both rolls were very tasty (and greasy) in a paratha drenched in oil. If you're health conscious then this may not be ideal for you. The meat was cooked perfectly and the spice level was good (I am personally not fond of very spicy food).

For an average of £4 a roll this is a really cheap meal. An absolutele must try if you're in the area and hankering for an Indian snack/meal. The interiors add to the ambeience of being in a bad Bollywood movie. What's not to like?

Each roll is made using fresh chapatis which are then stuffed with your choice of traditional filling (Shami kebab, chicken tikka, spicy paneer, Shami kebab with anda...I could Go on). With a sister restaurant in New York, Kathi Roll has taken Soho by storm. For those who have been here once, they return time and time again. We come here every time we are in town. After a long day I trotted reluctantly to kati roll. Trust me I was tired, miserable and hungry and ordered the egg roll and the vegetable roll. I was already unhappy with the seating as it was really dirty and lots of food bits were scattered across the floor. I didn't expect anything good and it was crowded. The wait was long but the roll was amazing and I believe the best I ever tasted. It made my bad day subdued for now as I munched on the rolls that had so much can flavour and played havoc with my taste buds. Going again and my guest had the chicken roll and was equally spellbound.

This place does exactly what it was meant to do.good descent spread of chapattis rolls. they serve quiet tasty and is a good place to pick up some quick lunch or a quick bite. the place is located in the middle of oxford street and is quite popular. they have made a name for themselves over the years a quick pick up and filling lunch.  You have the option of picking up or have the  option sit n dine. the rolls are quite tasty bursting with flavour. The chai that you get here is quite good too. the interiors can be a little bit more spic and span.food - 4service - 3.75location and menu - 4

1. Small menu but great choice of various kinds of non veg and vegetarian rolls.
2. We tried paneer roll and Chana rolls both were excellent.
3. Shami kebab roll is also good.
4. Place is little small with basic furniture but location near Oxford street is very convenient just 5 minutes from tube station.
5. It is self service and you can get good Indian style masala chai (tea).
6. Value for money. £4 for 1 roll and less than 8 for 2 which is a sufficient quantity for one person.

Hole in wall off New Oxford Street, and what a place! Cheap eats and a good selection of Kathi rolls. Cooked in true desi style with lots of lime, coriander and onions with your choice of paratha or roti breads. The Masala Shrimp roll seems to be their signature offering and rightly so. If you need a quick foodgasm after hours of shopping, this is the place!

A great alternative to curry and/or lunch, the Kati Roll Company offers a simple menu of flavour packed Indian wraps. Ranging from £2.75 to £5 for one or £5 to £9.50 for two or even the ability to mix and match to your taste, the street food rolls are good value for money. The little katis pack a big punch and something for all tastes, from egg or paneer for the veggies to minced-lamb or tiger shrimp for the carnivores. Lovely stuff.

Yum Yum YUMMMM!
The Kati Rolls here were awesome! For those of you who haven't even tried a Kati Roll before, this is a great place to check it out!

I would recommend the Unda Shami Roll (egg and lamb). The Paneer Roll (cheese) is another good option, and this goes perfect with the mango lassi they serve. These rolls are perfectly wrapped in a fluffy paratha flatbread.

This place isn't a proper sit down restaurant, but more like a Bombay cafe. Food is GOOD!

Kati roll (or Paratha roll as it is known in Pakistan) is a very popular street food in South East Asia. I remember going to this popular paratha roll place in my college days in Lahore, Pakistan just opposite Liberty Market. It was a dhaba style ‘restaurant‘ where you parked your car and enjoyed the most delicious, cheesy, moorish, meaty freshly made paratha roll you would’ve had.

Kati roll is the closest I can get to that in London. I’ve been going here for the last 5 years at least! The consistency, quality and taste is still commendable. Paratha’s (fried rotis) filled with a variety of fillings from vegetarian options to really meaty ones. And the best thing is- it’s super easy on the pocket! Always great for a cheap date ;) haha

My all time favourite is the Anda Shami Roll (I used to make these when I was little and they are the best!!) and the Aloo Roll. The chutney on the side is all you need. For all those crazy shopping days in Central London and looking for a place to hide away and eat?! Look no further!

I believe the only kathi roll place in central London . One can find good vegan options .
Tired the Chana masala and the achari planner roll which was above average . The achari paneer roll lacked the achari or spicy flavor and the Chana masala roll was slightly overstuffed .
The interiors were so so .
But a good option for vegetarians, specially when bored of having burgers and sandwiches around.

It's a quirky little place in the city centre. Of course I am biased to this place as I am from Calcutta and it's known for its street food. So when I got to know that you can get Kati Rolls in London - I could not give it a miss.

When I walked through the doors of this tiny cafe for the first time many years ago, I felt at home immediately. Some quirky old film posters on a gritty looking bright orange wall and an eclectic mix of worn down looking furniture - sounds horrendous but it adds to the quirks of the place.

As of the rolls - I've always only tried the non- vegetarians. They are not exactly the Kati rolls one would get in Calcutta, in fact I would say they are a pale imitation. However, they're not massively far off from the concept. I have had some other Indian wraps that don't remind me of the 'rolls' as these ones do. Once in a while when I crave street food - this is where I head for. The rolls come with onion and mint chutney in it. I ask for mine to be made spicy as the regular ones lack the heat I am looking for. I recommend it to those who have the appetite for trying new things. And one thing this place definitely delivers is - flavour.

A great place for a quick lunch or take away.

The menu is based around this North indian Wrap called Kathi Roll which is simply a roll which has different interior flavours and proteins. I ordered the chicken tikka roll, it was small but tasted extremely authentic and was really worth the time. The vast amount of vegetarian options also catered to my friend. The food was really authentic, the insides were spicy and tasteful.

The cafe, quick bite minimalist interior is explained by the importance they put on the food itself. It was quite busy when I went which made the service slow but it was nothing that I couldn't overlook.

The Kathi rolls(like small Indian burritos... sort of) served here are a super savory punch of flavor and really satisfying. A small meal or substantial snack for under £4, or a solid meal of two rolls for around £6. I ordered chicken tikka and it was just mouth watering. Filling of crunchy onion pickle, soft wheat parantha (though you can get a roti, which is baked, if you prefer), tangy chicken... just the right amount of grease to make it tasty but not greasy or heavy. My only complaint was their slow service, but certainly this would not stop me from coming to this place again and again.

The only place in London where you can have famous indian Kathi rolls. My only complain after being frequently there is that their quality is not consistent. On many occasions, the filling is dry rather than juicy. Also many things on menu not available like chai or Kathi on roti instead of parantha etc. It's good place but they need to work on it. Also, charge of 50p on chutney is a killer (atleast one with one roll should be free). But still as said, it's only place in London to enjoy Kathi roll - the only thing where London is behind NYC.

Kati roll company is a small joint serving one of the most famous North Indian delicacies, Kati rolls. Being a North Indian myself, standards and expectations for these rolls was already extremely high!  Despite being a non-vegetarian, the acahari paneer kati roll really appealed to me, and thank god i ordered it! The most perfectly cooked and marinated pieces of paneer, covered with a perfectly balanced green chutney stuffed inside a thin and crispy paratha. The downfall to this almost perfect meal was the masala tea, that lacked the main "masala" element!

The ambience here was quite perfect, soft hindi music playing in the background and authentic street style decor. The only issue was perhaps seating, as the venue is not extremely big it was quite a task to find a table for 6 of us! I would avoid going during rush hour as the queues are genuinely quite long, but besides that, definitely going to go back here for another meal!

Perfection

Known for their rolls, I went with a friend of mine and ordered two rolls, one beef tikka and one shami kabab.
The first one had a slight bite to it and the beef inside was cooked to perfection. It was soft, but not chewy and was served with hot sauce and yogurt and you can put other sauces upon request which add a nice kick and tang.

The second one was really nice with lamb, lentils, herbs and spices that confer it incredible texture and flavor. When biting into each roll our palate buds were overwhelmed by the salty, spicy, and savory flavors making it an exceptional experience!

I wish we could have found room to continue eating as their other dishes sound really tasty and yummy.

Its a small cafeteria with a BOLLYWOOD posters and painting all around on its walls serving the famous street food of India as the name says "kathi rolls" in Central London. The place has informal seating arrangements and self service facility. The first time i visited the place i ordered chana masala roll and achahri paneer roll with mint chutney. The roll was really delicious and freshly prepared.
The mouth watering and subtle spices of the roll made me revisit it last week. I would recommend to order paranthas over chapati as the chapati were not fresh and undermines the quality of roll though the filling was great as earlier. The rolls are reasonably priced. It costs around £8 for two rolls and is  definitely a healthier option over regular sandwiches and burgers. Also a  great option for take away .

This place will bring nostalgia for any indian living in London. Its a small joint with Bollywood memories and serves roll which are authentic and genuinely Bombay style. I have been here many times and never disappointed on quality, taste and service (all though self service but fast). Not much to choose from the menu, limited offering but great value for money and taste. Do try the shrimp masala roll, its juicy shrimpy and spicy with mouthwatering flavours of green masala coconut based stuffing. You can buy extra sourly green chutney. Although masala chai can be tempting, and might give the idea of chai from local tapri but its not the case. I simply hate it, its waterery, weak in flavour and taste awful, the only thing which very is disappointing.

After moving to london i was so haply to find this placw as it reminded me of home. The decor is orginal and the food is good but it could be cheaper. Overall my fav

The London arm of the West Village's original, this cute takeaway brings you straight to the doorstep of a Bombay classic - the Frankie roll! After several heavenly aromas and trips down childhood memories' lane you are handed nirvana wrapped up in a roll. A must for any self respecting Bombayite in London!

Was really craving something quick and tasty for lunch recently so myself and a colleague decided this might be the best time to try TKRC after numerous recommendations and seeing such positive reviews.

After visiting I have to say this place really does epitomise 'quick and tasty'. As a huge fan of street-food of all shapes and sizes it is great to see the progression of an Indian street-food favourite being taken on in the form of a brand in it's own right. I'm sure many others can describe this much better than me so I'll leave the intricacies to them (also I'm sure you've heard of Wikipedia). However in layman's terms a Kati Roll is an Indian wrap (originally a paratha) with a selection of numerous fillings.

In the case of TKRC there are many options including chicken and beef tikka/Unda, a number of vegetarian options (Achaari Paneer/Aloo Masala) and also the current newest offering Shrimp Masala ( I have to try this next).
I decided along with my friend to go for what we've have been told is the most popular option, Unda Chicken Roll. This was exactly what I needed. The wrap is very flavourful and gives that something different to the standard lunch options.
Although they are actually very good value in the first place, it is great to visit with a friend as there are slight discounts available when buying two rolls, although you may end up eating both yourself!

Will definitely be back on numerous occasions and may have just found a new regular lunch spot around Soho!

I know the Kati Roll Company from MacDougal Street in New York City's Greenwich Village and was delighted to happen upon its London Soho storefront. The Kati Roll has saved me from more than one night of debauchery. Such wonderful late night eating and I mean the wee hours of the morning.

The Kati Roll Company should be on every street corner in every neighborhood. In New York City come Midnight there are lines forming out side KRC's Orange facade.

The KRC Unda/Aloo Roll is most excellent for breakfast.

The rolls here, in my opinion, are the best I have ever tasted. For vegetarians - the chana masala is probably among the most popular (and my all time favourite). I could swear by not having had anything like that even from the street vendors in Calcutta. The small outlet off Oxford Street is charming, with orange walls, and weird bollywood music. Reasonably priced - would highly recommend it!

The most delicious parantha rolls with chicken very cost effective , filling and the chutney is to die for whenever I am in town I pop by love the food. They now charge extra for the chutney but it still doesn't break the bank so I am fine with it. I really can't get enough of the rolls once I have one I just want another once the only thing the place is small so its difficult to get a table and the masala chai is just like back home :-) I mostly go for the chicken tikka rolls my favourite

During my very first year after we moved to London I was on a spree to explore the city and of course travel around England. My first winter ( 2011) I really took my time to acclimatise and had a tough time going from one day to the other without feeling a mixture of utter boredom, gloom and loneliness ( maybe one of the reasons I subconsciously pushed myself to start blogging again after a long hiatus , my old blog started in 2006 , I abandoned for various reasons didn’t seem something I wanted to go back to…and ”sliceoffme” was born) On one such terribly cold and grey evening one of my old college mates who I found stayed in London via FB (Thank god for FB!) and me met for a drink and some window shopping. After walking all over Oxford Street we were ravenously hungry and I wanted something substantial and if possible Indian and not expensive – humm , lucky for me she really knew the area well and we walked to a tiny by lane off Reagent street n queued up inside The Kati Roll company. It was packed to the gills and is a tiny little place but very popular as I was informed by N.

The juicy and perfectly spiced pieces of meat, chicken or paneer wrapped in one of those ready to eat thick parathas (why?! well of this is NOT Mumbai is it so no chance of the REAL DEAL aka a Rumali Roti – a fine Indian Bread which is made by bravely tossing the dough around in open air and full public view and lands expertly on a tandoor – if I was to try it would probably land on my face! ) and seasoned with a spicy chutney and finely sliced red onions are so good especially when washed down with a chilled cola. I ordered two rolls with meat – but one can really fill you up if you are not too hungry. We managed to get a place to sit, partly because I hovered around a table where a group of hungry young men were wolfing down their rolls and managed to look very exhausted , hungry and in need for a place to sit – sigh… the things one has to do to get a table anywhere nice in London ;)

Last month when I was out near Reagent Street and struck by a serious hunger pang I made a beeline for The Kati Roll Company. Pleasantly surprised to find the place was not as busy and the interiors also seemed to have had a serious facelift. New on the menu was a very tempting bottle of thick mango lassi , the last one was sitting there in the fridge begging me to buy it…something about a water droplet slowly making its way from the too of the bottle along the side which was very ummm… mesmerising ? :) Alas the hungry man who ordered right before I did bought it – dang!So armed with a Shami Kebab and an Unda Shami Roll (guilt guilt !) I grabbed a table before it vanished.
So I had to settle for a coke – ah well. I sat on a table facing a wall with Aamir Khan staring down at me – a movie poster of Lagaan. I love how the posters had been put onto the wall and then run over with a roller I suppose making it look like the bricks had these images and had just been fitted into one another.

0.5 off just because it's not Park Street in Calcutta, and you're not getting these rolls from a hole-in-the-wall, what's-in-my-meat, enough-grease-to-fry-chips magical wonderland. And they're not spicy enough. But as rolls go, and what's available, it's heaven. Had these first in NYC, and then in London, and they are consistent, such good value for money and such a wonderful experience, that I have to wonder if it's actually the Kati Roll Charity - cause food this good can solve the world's problems. No gimmicks here.

It is because a friend of mine who stays in DC in the US of A recommended that I landed up here. He told this was his fave place in the US and had opened a branch in London recently which he wanted me to visit. And so I did. It was awesome I would say. A suggestion that was very valuable. I tried the unda chicken role on light kathi. Was the best roll I had anywhere. Have tried this in places but none like this. I then ordered a shami kabab roll which wasn't as great but not bad either. Should've had this first and then the chicken one may be. Any average adult should be able to gobble 2 rolls on an empty stomach. Menu choices are very limited but its better that way. Rather than spoiling people with choices it is better to spoil them with taste is what I believe and it looks like they follow that too. You can opt for any of the bottled drinks available around the town for a reasonable price. I'd stay away from the masala chai. Unless you wish to have tea leaves in hot water topped with a pinch of milk and lots of cinnamon powder.
Ambience does'nt exist but who cares. Word of caution its a very small places the size of a saloon garage and has 5-6 tables of varying size so take away should be your best bet. Be ready to Walk around central London with rolls in your hand if thats what you've to do.

Bottom line I've added this to my favorites.

After a long day spent shopping around oxford street and when you are starving and crave something that will not only fill your tummy but also satify the heart of an Indian who craves road-side yummy rolls then this is the place to be! Although there are not too many options the ones available are simply delicious!
I have been there several times and have more or less tried all roles. My personal favourite is the Shami kebab roll and the chicken tikka roll for the non-vegetarians and the Channa masala roll for the veggies.
The place is super crowded being in one of the most busy areas in london and sometimes getting a seat can be a problem but getting a takeaway is an equally good option.
The rolls and made of parathas and not rotis but do justice to the concept of kathi rolls.
Besides the rolls there is no option for drinks except aerated drinks and beer!

You find the place to be given a completely Indian Bollywood look and it makes sense to sit and eat in and check the various posters out!
All in all I love the concept of getting Indian street food amidst the hussle and bustle of London City!

Ceiling fans, retro Bollywood posters and Kati rolls. The Kati Roll and Company could have well been a small restaurant on the side street of a city in India but instead, it is in the heart of London. Right off Oxford street it is the itinerant shoppers salvation. Hot rolls that give you instant energy and you don't need fancy cutlery.

Reasonably priced, it has vegan, vegetarian and of course non-vegetarian options. All manner of soft drinks and decent chilled beers are also served. The only hot drink served is masala chai and it is really not the best. I would be happier if they served normal tea as well. After all hot & milky masala tea is not the only type of tea drunk in India. However, I am willing to ignore the tea and forgive them because they are the best at making Kati rolls.

Late evenings are the rush hour and you'd be lucky if you get a seat (a corner of a bench or stool)! But they do takeaway and many people prefer that option. It is a nice change from the typical curry houses!

I was raised in a town where Kathi (Kati) rolls and anything to do with Indian style Kebabs is done so well in most restaurants, that I am a little bit spoilt & fussy about them being perfect.
The Kathi rolls that I grew up eating were traditionally wrapped in a Rumali Roti (an extremely thin flat bread..that requires juggling as a pre-requisite for making it - The best bread to have Chicken/lamb curry with)

Moving on, I was pleasantly surprised to find a Kathi roll place hidden in one of the alleys around Oxford Circus. Its a tiny little joint which was quite busy on all the occasions I have been to it. Nostalgia hits you like a truck if you are old enough (like Moi) to remember those old school posters of Bollywood films. It has a "small Indian Diner" sort of feel to the place.

The first time I saw the Kathi rolls here I was slightly disappointed to see Parthas as the roll and not Rumali rotis. However, the taste makes up for it big time. I always have at least 2 rolls every time, one of which is always Shami kebab. Others that I have tried are Chicken Tikka, Unda chicken and beef. I have heard a lot about the Chana masala which I hope to try the next time I am there. All the rolls are delicious and quite authentic. 2 for £8 - you can't go wrong.

Now, for the Masala Chai..Seriously.. My 3 month of old Niece could make a better Chai than that and she can't even say the word "Chai" yet. Please change that and you are a perfect 5 in my book.

Best kati rolls in London, reminded of the kati rolls served back home. The rolls have both vegetarian options (aloo, paneer, chole masala) and non-vegetarians options. The restaurant has very limited seating so try going a not at the peak lunch hour.
The restaurant also serves nice indian bottled beer which is an advantage.
The food is very reasonably priced.
The restaurant also has posters from old Himdi movies and plays bollywood songs.
If you want to be reminded of a place back home, visit this place.

If you are craving for typical indian kathi rolls, this little place is the place to be. Its small, with fun bollywood posters hanging on the wall, giving you the total India filmy feel.

The chana masala roll and the achari paneer roll, is amazing here. The chutney they serve with the roll makes it even better. Grab it with a coke, and it makes a perfect place for a spicy munch.

Easy on the pocket, with self service facility. A must visit for everyone.

This is a tiny little place on Poland Street, just off of Oxford Street, with a few tables put together. It is not a place for gourmet dining, but a place to grab a quick bite.
JI had my first stint with Kathi Roll Company in New York. Just loved the decor. Old bollywood movie poters on the wall and hindi songs play in the background.
Love the mixed veggie an chana masala rolls. Masala chai is amust have. Absolutely refreshing and complements your meal.
Freshly prepared and authentic, these rolls are simply delicious.
A good offbeat place for the price and taste.

Very rarely you come across a restaurant which does what it says on the tin and with perfection; for I have surely not come across any better Indian rolls in London.

I have tried chicken tikka and aloo masala roll and I am sure to come back for more. For people working around this area, this would be a perfect choice for lunch takeaways though if you are hungry, better is to have 2.

Awesome mind blowing fab beauty! I just love this place and can never have enough of this. This place reminds me of Basant Lok in Delhi, where I used to hang out with friends curing my college days.

The rolls are all top class, but you cant go wrong with egg chicken tikka. And the pudina chutney is lip smacking to keep you good company. Also try the chana roll if you are a veggie, again you would be thanking me.

Highly recommended for both eat in and grab and go!

When you are walking down Oxford street, late evening shopping and lugging around with shopping bags, popping into this joint can be the best thing you can ask for ! Kathi rolls of different fillings - aaloo, paneer, chole and many more to try from.

The taste of kathi roll is very authentic especially with green mint chutney. It's value for money and quiet filling.

Lured here by a newfound friend, this is one of the best places to grab a quick bite in London, especially if you're shopping in Oxford Circus. The shami unda kati roll is my favourite, followed by the chicken tikka roll. The veggie ones, like the aloo masala and paneer, are good too. Remember to ask for the tub of green chutney because sometimes they don't give it unless you ask for it!
The restaurant is bright orange inside, and has posters from Bollywood movies plastered everywhere. It's small and not many tables/chairs so be prepared for a takeaway.
I tried the masala chai but that's not as good as the rolls, which are absolutely authentic.

This is one of the best places for an Indian 'quick bite' in vicinity of Oxford Street, London. My favourite is 'Unda Aloo Roll(spicy potato with a layer of beaten egg). 'Achari Paneer Roll' and 'Chana Masala Roll' are also recommended. Try the rolls with the green(coriander + mint) chutney. 2 rolls are good enough to fill you up. When viviting Oxford steet I make sure I drop in. Masala Tea is not so good and the place easily runs out of seating space during evening rush hours. A must visit place though.

The Good
1) In a city full of Indian curry houses finding Kati Roll Company was a delectable treat. Especially in Central London, it is good to see an Indian restaurant not offering the usual stuff like Kebabs, Samosa or Chicken Tandoori. And they keep the authentic desi taste intact. The rolls are almost as good as I would find in my favourite Kati roll joints in India.

2) Yummy yet affordable. 2 egg chicken roll cost £8.50.

3) Location. I almost always stop here to take a break from shopping in Oxford Circus.

The Bad
1)I know it's tough to expect a lot of space in Central London but this place can definitely do with some extra space.

2) Wish their masala chai was also 'authentic' enough.

What I had
1) Egg Chicken roll - Super-liked
2) Egg shami roll - Is great (Recommended)
3) Paneer roll - Is also quite good.

Ask for their green chutney if they forget to serve.

The flavors are remarkably similar to the Kathi Roll Company in New York City, if not slightly better. They know how to make their primary thing (the kathi rolls) pretty well. Apart from the food, the atmosphere inside the place is not really my vibe, but since you are not staying here long enough for a proper sit-down dinner, that's okay. Perhaps the best part about this place is the speed of your order which is blazing fast! Which is great if you are famished and craving quick filling food.

I am a big fan of kati roll. This reminds me roadside rolls at Kolkata. When I was kid, used to visit with my father at a nearby roll centre. Many of you may have been same experience. If you want to relive your old memories with some modern days sauce, you can try here lovely rolls. Egg chicken rolls with green chutney is always my favourite. I also love their egg roll or chicken roll. This time I took my family and they also find it really yummy 😋. Their decor at inside is very different. I feel nostalgic seeing some of the old days movie poster which we used see in Kolkata streets/ building. Service is quick and staffs are friendly. People usually quickly finish food and leave which allows others to sit and enjoy. Easy access from Oxford circus tube station. It’s a must visit if you love roll.

Nice spot for a quick, casual bite. 4 stars for the kathi roll, but their chai is very milky without strong flavor. We tried their Unda Beef roll, Unda Paneer roll and Achari paneer roll. Would recommend the unda paneer roll, it was tasty and filling. They also offer two sauces on the side, yogurt (raita) and coriander chutney. Quick, courteous service, it was a little warm in the dine in space, seemed quite busy for a Tuesday lunch hour. Quirky Bollywood decor on their rustic walls.

Oh my!. Very busy place, not much seating but we were happy to share our table. You'll definitely need 2 rolls per person - they're running a 50p off for buying 2 at a time. We had 1 beef unda roll, 1 lamb unda roll & 2 prawn (shrimp) rolls - these were magnificent!. Sorry no pics as we inhaled them. Also had the hot masala tea, I was kindly allowed a sample before ordering. I would agree with previous reviews that food needs to be served hotter, esp given how cold it is outside. I would recommend & definitely go again. Only thing is lack of tables, once the trays are collected by staff, they should gently encourage people to move on. I also loved the authentic interior too (see pics)!

I had ordered 1 Beef wrap, 1 Unda Chicken Wrap and 2 Chicken Tikka wraps and I got my order in under 10 minutes. I was very much surprised but it was a great service and the staff is very friendly. To be honest the location of this place is very nice and once you sit inside you'll really get the feel of sitting in a roadside stall in India. The ambiance and the atmosphere just outside is too Londonish while inside is purely Desi. One other thing that I liked about Kathi Roll is that they put up an Air conditioner in the shop and that too 2 air conditioners. I was with my 2 other friends and I even planned to order the masala chai. The Chai was not very up to the mark but it was average. The last time I went there, I had the shami kabab roll and it was delicious so I thought of experimenting and having something else this time. Overall a very nice place to eat out with friends.
