The 麻辣香鍋 is very authentic. We come here very often. They also have a chinese karaoke room which would be good for events. I must say the price of the dish has increased quite significantly since 2016.
A nice Chinese that is always busy- can't be a bad sign! Lots of weird things on the menu! Not great for vegetarians really though, but they will do their best to accommodate.
OMG - so good!! As a native NYer who is picky about her Chinese food, I am thrilled to find a place that serves authentic Chinese food along with your typical favourite takeaways. The servers are all so lovely and helpful. The food was delicious with lovely ingredients. I would definitely recommend!! We had salt and pepper prawns, beef ginger spring onion, and pork soy bean.
Amazing and authentic Chinese food if you are a spicy food lover. Come for half price when you book from the fork.

The Choi sum in oyster sauce was so nice, shredded beef in chilli sauce was crispy and tasty whilst our fried rice was up to standards.
Loved the food at Crystal China! Our waiter was super helpful to explain what each item on the menu was. The spice level was perfect! Loads of vegetarian options too! Our dry hot pot was so filling and delicious. Highly recommend!
The dry hotpot is really nice and big portion, we went for spicy level 2 and still very spicy.
We got the salivating chicken and cumin lamb, white rice for 2.
Big portions, yummy authentic hearty food. Quite spicy as it is a pretty authentic restaurant that’s not watered down.
Cumin lamb was juicy, which is not actually that easy to find, especially in London.
Service was very attentive and the food came out quick.
Dessert took a bit longer to come out, but it was one of those things.
I think 3 dishes 4 big eaters would be more than enough.
We were asked to leave a google review so here it is, though I must stress that this would’ve been my honest review anyway.
The quality here is on par or better than most ‘known’ north eastern Chinese restaurants.
Good for a meal with mates, would recommend.

I regret not coming to eat here earlier!!! (Being a headliner 🥹)
I was shocked when I opened the menu because the food was really cheap (in this materialistic London), a plate of roast duck was only £9.50 and there were vegetables and meat, crispy and crunchy, with a roast duck sauce that was really good.

Aubergine, potatoes and peppers, my friend from the north said it was really authentic, this needs no introduction as a meal, the potatoes 🥔 and aubergine 🍆 were simmered very soft and tasty, the potato noodles were very tasty.
Spicy hot pot 👍
I ordered a mildly spicy pot and felt that it was just the right amount for two people, it was the type of dry pot I like, but it would have been better if it was a little sweeter. I was told that the base ingredients are freshly fried every day, not the prepared ones bought from outside, so the taste is very special. The spicy seasoning is very powerful, and the complex spicy flavour is both hot and exciting, but also has a long aftertaste.

Authentic Chinese Food. Lots of options for dry hot pot. Spicy fried chicken was very yummy.
The portions were kind of small. The pork in the fried rice was a little dry. The roast duck is delicious so I think it is also a matter of knowing what to order. Their wonton soup was also comforting. While I was there a lot of people ordered the hot pot and it looked pretty good, so maybe go with that instead of other dishes. The staff was very kind and quick.
All the food and service was really great.
The waitress ladies and the guy at the bar who looked like the manager were very friendly and polite highly recommend the fish in chilli oil and the Sichuan spicy chicken.
Next time will be on a Sunday.

As an asian I could say their spicy level is really high so just order the less spicy one if you are not sure for the spicy level. We ordered 5 kinds of ingredients for 2 people which is a good size of portions. The hot & sour spicy soup was also really tasty. Got a 10£ voucher for next visit :)))
Walked in. The food was delicious, the service was super quick and the atmosphere was lovely. On the occasion of a birthday, they wrote a birthday card and offered dessert. When paid, they gave us a 10£ off voucher when spending 30£ to be used within one month.
I’m so HAPPY that I discovered this amazing Chinese restaurant on Deliveroo, especially when there’s no many good ones around. They offer real Chinese food, good portion and delicious!!! 30mins delivery time isn’t too long to wait either.

This is my second time to visit Crystal China. We ordered 3 dishes in the restaurant. The chicken is a cold dish, the sauce is really good and the portion is good as well. The pork intestine is mouth-watering with plenty of chilli. However, the beef is pale in comparison to other dishes and it is not impressive as we all think that it tastes like normal hotpot beef.
In general, the staff are responsive and the food came quite quickly.

I've heard about this signature dish 🥹 "Spicy Hot Pot" which Jay Chou has praised for a long time and today I finally had the chance to try it ~ the hot pot is available with your own dishes, five dishes to start with, I chose pancetta, quail egg, squid, rice cake and lasagne tripe etc.

Opted for the mildly spicy, the meat and veg was a good mix to eat, felt like a large bowl was too much for two people, my friend and I to finish 🤤 The pancetta was tender, thinly sliced instead, more flavourful and well handled! It didn't have the stinky British 🐷🐷 smell at all, which made you want to eat it again. The quail eggs were fried before being put in the aroma pot, so they had a crispy aroma; the squid 🦑 was chewy, generous and fresh at first taste! The most noteworthy thing was the tripe with a spicy flavour that got better and better the more you chewed it.
Their chillies are quite tasty, very authentic spicy taste, if you feel slightly spicy or rather spicy, you can also try their special desserts. I ordered the sweet and sour Yang Zhi Ganou and the counter man made it very tasty, with fresh mango 🥭 and grapefruit 🥭 and also gave us a small fruit after dinner to relieve the greasiness, icy cold 🥰 The most surprising thing is that the dessert 🍮 is super cheap, only £3.99 a serving and the decoration is lovely. The price of a cup of Yang Zhi Gan Luo at milk tea shops outside is £5.50+, so Taste Edge is really conscientious 🤣

This is the best dry hot pot I’ve ever had in London.
The intestines melted in my mouth so gently, and it tasted nicely sweet.
The service was pleasant too!
Delicious, fresh food. Great, friendly service. Staff are very pleasant.
Ordered roast duck,egg fried rice and chicken dumplings. House white wine is very nice too and good value.
Highly recommend if you like authentic Chinese food in a nice setting.
