The Water Poet - London - Photo album

Great pub with excellent selection of drinks & fantastic food. Generous portions. Buzzing atmosphere. Good crowd. Excellent service. Loved the beer garden!
Oh man, this was one amazing roast, its a shame the pub is about to be shut down because of some stupid development. The pub has a genuine ambiance involving live sports, draught beer and good music. There is a separate room for people who want to have a roast and they make sure it is worthwhile. My
I celebrated Harry and Meghan’s wedding in the beer garden and thought the venue was great! Only downside was the brunch food which was nothing special. Could have been because it was a busy day and cheap deal. That aside, the atmosphere and themed drinks were fantastic. Would go back for the beer g
Visited the Water Poet for what's probably going to be the last time a couple weeks ago (as its closing down). The beer garden was I full flow and everyone was having a good time. I had a couple snacks from the menu which were good. The bar seems to have an endless selection of beers. Worth a visit
Your first impression of the Water Poet will not be glamorous. It doesn't look any special from the outside - small, typical London pub, but wait! Once you step in, it's huge! There is basement floor where they host free comedy night on Wednesdays, a nice garden, plenty of bars, fantastic selection
Great selection of beers and home-cooked food at decent prices. Always busy - so a buzz about the place, even on a wet Monday afternoon! Separate dining area, pool table and an outdoor space. Really good pub if you’re looking for somewhere in the Liverpool Street / Shoreditch area. Used this place
Nice British pub to have a beer after work, eat a burger or a huge fish and chips. The atmosphere is interesting, with more than one space, one for food, other for drinks, and one outside. Eating and drinking is recommended, to have an even better time. Bathroom is clean, attendence is friendly
Huge pub with giant outdoor area, filled with festive people even on Sundays, Mondays and Tuesdays. Loved it!
One of the better pubs in Spitalfields with a large courtyard and a reasonable choice of beers on tap; lively on my last visit on a Monday evening.
Loved the pub, very cosy, good range of drinks and feels very homey ☺️ you can also watch football if you're a fan or just relax in the garden. Good for a pub crawl in the area!
Lovely and lively pub. Very friendly staff. They even offered a beer for free due to a mistake in our order.
Cute little back street with cobbled streets leads you to this classic English pub. Serving a banging roast!
We had a Christmas meal in the private room downstairs and it was so much better than I expected. Great space, food was decent and service on point. Not easy with a large group. In general the beers are good, so much space throughout the pub and not a bad spot for watching sport. Nice.
Great beer selection and 10 £ drink and lunch option available during the week days. Good option for lunch plus business meeting.
Lovely place to hang out. Very nice crowd and friendly staff. Lots of space, inside and outside garden.
amazing place ! too bad they're going to close it down to probably build some dumb condo in a week and a half! Get a Sunday roast there before that happens!
Large, spacious pub with a decent range of beers and other drinks. Includes a great outside area - partially covered (lots of lovely fairy lights). Lovely atmosphere inside and out. Also it may or may not be a regular feature but the City Comedy club night they are currently hosting in the downstair
Nice pub with great food, shame the staff let the place down.
