It's a decent burger. They do serve medium rare, which is still quite pink and a nice loose texture with meat quite coarsely ground. We both got the BBQ from the classics section of the menu with fries. Decent skinny fries. My companion had the skinny version with bun replaced by salad. The only complaint was about the vinaigrette on salad. Made with cheap malt vinegar and excessively tart.
A surprising new addition to the #loveburger list. You van forgive me for always saying that chains are not the best as it is proven time and time again that the quality and efficiency of the first, can seldom be duplicates amongst plenty sites. Not in the case of Byron. Whilst is not the best burger I have tasted, (take a bow Patty & Bun), it certainly is up there on your Burger diary travels.
The site in Farringdon has a whole glass frontage, so lots of natural daylight. The building has character which is rare for these type of brands. The atmosphere is buzzy as you would expect with the local creatives and designers. It's a very snippy place, with a quick greeting, being sat as soon as a table is available and service which whizzes by you. This is not in a bad way. Most folk are on a lunch break of sorts, so cannot have the leisurely lunch which they would prefer. It shows the kitchen know what they are doing when the food arrives in no time at all, but still tastes fresh and great.
We opted for a Byron chilli burger, a normal burger with cheese and went naked (not literally), with blue cheese.
We piled on the sides with coleslaw, sweet potato fries and macaroni cheese. We learnt a very important lesson which is that it was way too much, but the other lesson we learned was that Byron is not a bad stop to fulfil our local burger love. Good prices also make it appealing. Only gripe would be that my blue cheese could have been a bit more melted, but that's not a biggy in the grand scheme of things. Great burger spot!
I have no idea why this is rated so low. This place had a lot of vegetarian options. I had nachos, bean patty burger, onion rings and chocolate hardshake with spiced rum. Everything apart from onion rings was on point which were maybe too oily. Also it was not that crowded on a tuesday night so no waiting :)
Good typical Byron burgers served in Farringdon.
It's a very busy Byron and been a couple of times where both times I've had to wait 25 mins for a table.
The service is ok and the tables are a little cramped but the food is good with a good selection and killer shakes.
They bring out different themes burgers every so often which is tempting to try but you can classify this site as a good busy Byron restaurant at a great location.
Standardly good burgers, kept simple, gorgeous milkshakes, and courgette fries that I'm addicted to. Service is great, really nice staff
Admittedly was late (9pm) when I arrived but attentive hostess seated me promptly. Asked about food allergies right away is a good touch. Had the classic burger and skin on fries. All good. I like they both ask and then deliver the burger cooked to order. The milkshakes looked delicious. Only for beer I would have had one. Would recommend. Cheap and cheerful.
Best burgers in the city! The place ask if there are food allergies at the entrance and also when they take an order. It is possible to replace ingredients in a dish, there are gluten-free dishes. The food is tasty fresh and well done. The service is brilliant, the waiters Ryan and Minty are the best-polite, quick and charming.
Good food and great service in busy surroundings. Visiting on a Tuesday evening after 9pm I was surprised how busy this place was but it was London so I guess I should have been less surprised. Due to the number of people in, the place was buzzing but was seated very quickly and service was excellent. Food came out reasonably quickly and could not fault it. It was the first time trying Byron and would go again.
Nice burgers at a reasonable price. Beware there was an incident earlier with how Byron ousted their staff to immigration services which shouldn't be forgotten
It's so so so good that it is even bad. The staff was super nice, the atmosphere was great. Do not come here if you are on a diet. The food looks so good you will order extra! It was delicious, super fresh and every single thing in the menu looks amazing. And just one last word - freakshakes.
Real good fries! Tasty burger and original british service! I enjoyed it.
On top there was an offer to save some pounds, I didn't recognize but the waiter did book it in without asking. Thanks!
