Really lovely restaurant with an overlook of the Thames and southbank, reasonable London prices and the food was excellent on balance of flavour and portion size!!! The staff are really friendly and helpful and the range of cocktails, spirits, beers and ciders is good for an Italian restaurant!!! I will definitely be back again!!!
Lovely place. The first time I've there but service, food and view on the river were amazing. Staff super friendly. Vegetarian option available. Tip: If you sign up for the newsletter you get a free garlic bread.
Great food and vibes. Pretty place with a lovely view. The gluten free pasta with Bolognese was good, maybe needed a bit more mince meat for my taste. The vegan meatballs super recommended. The vegan caramel ice cream was delicious.
I nice place to be. Friendly service.
Lovely and yummy dining experience. Delicious food, quiet and cool atmosphere with a very hands on service. Special thanks go to Dominika for looking after us brilliantly.
We were seated straight away, waitress was sweet. Food was delicious and prices acceptable, especially given the location. We both had 3 course meal for £25 each. Calamari/Harissa chicken pasta/Tiramisu and Garlic bread/Spaghetti carbonara/Choco melt.
An absolute gem; must go if you are visiting Tate Modern or Shakespeare’s Globe. Great river view, cozy vibe and amazing food and drinks. Everything is delicious.
Pizza, salad and tiramisu were our fav. The mocktails are really good too.
Beautiful restaurant ✨✨
Had dinner here many times, always delicious ❣️❣️❣️
The views are stunning if you sit by the window 😍
Staff: polite, respectul, kind
Recommend 💯💯
An upstairs location where the entrance is around the corner, but a nice river view while you dine. They have gluten-free pizza, and the sausage and truffle pizza was excellent. Not far from the Globe Theater and water taxi, so it can get busy.
In summary - great view, food, vibes and service!!
One of the first meals I had with a friend in London and she brought me to Bankside’s Zizzi.
Zizzi is franchised and many locations have it, but hands down this is the best location as it’s situated right next to the Thames.
We had two cocktails, and each was quite an unique flavour - the strawberry cocktail.🍓
Also we had a Chicken and Pancetta Risotto (lots of greens and peas) and also a Vegan Rainbow Lasagna (rainbow because there were layers of vegetables and beetroot, which made it very colourful albeit tasty, felt quite nutritious). 🌈 both were served hot and great!
The long list of choices on the menu was quite hectic when you wanted to just pick two dishes to share though - too many to choose from.
💡 Tip: the website version of the menu has pictures of the food, so much more visual than the wordy menu!
There were also lots of vegetarian choices.
At the end of the dinner we finished off with a Vegan Zillionaire’s Fudge Cake - chocolate one and purely vegan. However the taste was a bit so-so on this one. I would’ve also expected Fudge cake to be served warm.
May come to try their pizza next time 🍕
Visited whilst I was in London in September-October. Went there right before the closing, but got really good service. The staff were friendly, and service was quite fast. The pizza was delicious, and the cocktails were good as well. And pretty reasonable in price too!
Great riverside location. The meal was fine but nothing memorable. The place has more of a functional atmosphere than somewhere really special.
Such a great place for lunch with friends 🍝 a wide selection of dishes and also a suitable place for people with food allergies. the service is nice and willing to give an advise as needed! 💯
Excellent pizza, very generous size and beautifully thin crust. We were quite early so not many diners. Would be a lovely view over the Thames if the weather was nicer!!
Wonderful Italian place with a view to the river, good selection of pizza and pasta.
Rustic pizza is a must, but calsone also looked great, so who knows, might come back.
Great views!!!
Lucky to get seats overlooking Tames.
Food was good - typical Zizzi
Huge scope to improve service. A little smile can do the magic.
Anyway - the lift wasn’t working so it was quite difficult to carry plan to the first floor through stairs.
No separate space for trolleys. Parking trolleys to the walking space create trip hazard, of which the staff didn’t bothered.
Maniacally busy on a Saturday night but epic service as always, well done team!
Rustica sticky pig pizza, rainbow lasagna, followed by amaretto cheesecake and lemon mousse cheesecake washed down with the Nero devola red wine was a lovely combination. Highly recommend.
