What a fantastic brunch spot!!
The Orange, to me, is the perfect spot to find a quiet booth and spend the afternoon hiding away from the world in a wine glass or two with a good book!
Great food, excellent location, warm atmosphere and a comprehensive drink list!

It was a Thursday night so my friend Michelle and I decided to go scuba diving in white wine. We started at The Orange, a gastro pub and hotel on Pimlico road. I'd been there before this summer but didn't eat. I did, however, almost get my phone stolen by dodgy guys who came into the pub and tried to sell us birthday cards. After failing to blag our way into the dining room, we sat in the pub area at a small round table with great food lighting and ordered our dinner. Upon initial perusal of their new menu, my initial reaction was that this food was a bit stuffy for a pub. The special was a burger, which in my opinion should be a staple.
Nice long lunch with friends. Excellent friendly service and food enjoyed by all; oysters and carpaccio for starters were excellent. Would recommend and return!
Great pimlico casual pub, pizzas are excellent as is the Sunday lunch. The decor is calm with a stunning distressed feel. Have been here for breakfast and sat by the fire. My first choice of pub when I am in this area
Pretty decent place. Main course a bit cold and wine a bit pricey for a pub
Delicious!. One of our favorite places in London. I love the atmosphere and the food is absolutely delicious. Simple, but quality ingredients with great attention to the food and the menu.
The rice salad with ham is, alone, worth our commute to go there. Beautiful!
We ordered a couple of glasses of wine to accompany the main courses. M had a glass of rioja to go with her peppered steak & baby onion pie, served with rosemary new potatoes and a side order of cabbage. I had a glass of chilean pinot noir with my Sunday roast of Kilvarock Farm pork rack with a spiced plum chutney and all the usual roast trimmings. I was very pleased that gravy was served in a small jug and that I had control – I do like to control gravy…
On a rainy and cold November evening, I fought the wind and rain to this cute little gastropub. With low lighting, smiling staff and a blazing fire at the far end, this was -without a doubt- the location for the evening. Despite being early, there was limited space available in the bar area, but we managed to nab a table right next to the fire, just as an elderly couple were leaving. We were promptly served by a friendly, quirky waitress who, after bringing us Rose rather than white, brought us our original order without taking the offending other and didn't charge twice, but left us to happily drink both. It's warm, cosy and a relaxed ambience, despite being high quality and offering great quality wine and dishes. After two glasses of fizz, we did the unavoidable- before long, we found our table decorated with myriad of tapas-style dishes for us to soak up our alcohol. We thoroughly enjoyed the interesting combination of beetroot, caramelised onion and port raisins; warming and sweet, with flavours contrasting yet complimenting each other perfectly. The lightly battered squid had a soft meaty interior and a crisp battered outer layer. We tried the mackerel pate, the strong, creamy flavours pleasantly contrasting with the sharp, sweet, clean pomegranate seeds adorning the plate. The menu is largely meat and fish based, however, the pizzas- which come gluten free should you require it- have some interesting and exciting meat-free toppings; one pizza is a perfect sharing dish for those on a romantic evening. The Orange has a lovely, relaxed vibe and is the kind of place you could happily sit, either in the dining room or bar area, to enjoy some good wine and delicious nibbles whilst toasting your fingers next to the fire.
The Orange on Pimlico Road is a smart and relaxed pub which offers some great food. Besides their excellent British and European food, the bar offers decent beer on draught, better-than-your-usual lagers on tap and some interesting bottled offerings. The cocktails are tasty too and you can enjoy them outside in the small seating area.
The bar itself is light and feels airy and refined with some beautiful woodwork. A favourite with the local after work pint suppers, don't expect a seat at rush hour. A great, if not cheap, place to know.
Great little gem on Pimlico road. This is European cuisine with a British twist. Expect delicious British classics as well as wood fired Italian pizzas, mussels, and roasts. Atmosphere is cozy and the waiters are very nice. It is recommended to reserve in advance, however there is a walk in restaurant on the ground floor (usually very busy).
We had our post wedding Dinner for 11 people at The Orange in the St Barnabas Room and they were amazing! Throughout the whole process of booking in May to the day we got married they were absolutely faultless!! Food and drinks were delicious. We can't thank you enough, everyone had the best time and we couldn't recommend The Orange enough.
Thank you x
We had Sunday Roast which was a pleasant experience.
Angus burger & beef, lamb, side dishes with salads and potatoes, the gravy was not thick according to our taste.
The service was fine & the prices as expected.
LOVE THIS PLACE SO MUCH!!! The room was so incredibly cozy and designed and decorated perfectly. This is the quintessential place that you think of when you think of staying in London in a room above a pub, but it is that plus being extremely elevated! The check in process was so easy and Barnaby was so helpful and amazing through it all! When we come back to London next year, we definitely plan on staying here and spending more time in the area because there’s so much to do and see because it is perfectly located in London between Chelsea, Kensington, and Belgravia. Also, the food at the hotel was really good! The pizza is definitely a must try and the ambience in the whole area that you can sit and eat is incredible. The pub really lights up at night and so many people love to just show up and grab a beer and it is such a great crowd because it is a lot of young professionals that live in the area. I couldn’t recommend this place enough!!
I had a fantastic experience at The Orange. The waitress, Elena, was incredibly friendly and attentive. Chef Alex prepared a mouthwatering pizza that left us craving for more. The entire staff was exceptionally welcoming and made my friend and me feel right at home. It was a delightful dining experience that I would highly recommend to anyone looking for great food and excellent service.
We had a terrific stay at The Orange! The staff were absolutely wonderful and the rooms were cozy and inviting.
We had a lovely dinner first night of our stay that set a positive tone for the rest of our trip.
We had our wedding at The Orange in August 2022. We could not fault anything, the staff were amazing, every single waiter, bar tender and manager were just incredible! The food was outstanding. We had an absolute 5 star experience!
The Orange 🍊 Pub/Hotel is the former Orange Brewery. A multi story pub with 4 rooms upstairs. Centrally located in between Sloane Square and Pimlico. Great service and range of beers. Lovely restaurant seating upstairs. Worth stopping in for dinner or lunch.
This is a lovely pub, with generally great and personable service, and a fabulous Sunday roast. We felt they let us down a little by refusing to call us a taxi after our lunch when we asked for help, leaving us wondering around, pretty lost, trying to flag down a taxi which ended up taking quite a while, almost missing our next reservation in the evening because of the delay in getting back to our hotel from lunch … but we scored them solely on the quality of their food and lunch service.
We went for an evening drink and dinner. The location is great with a beautiful view over the green in summer. The bar area opened onto the street and I would come back for the atmosphere alone! We went to the restaurant on the first floor, the staff were lovely and accommodating although there were only 3 people covering the whole restaurant it seemed, which filled up after we arrived. As a result the service was a little slow, but not that much of an issue. The food was a little lackluster, the focaccia was either chewy or crunchy and the pollo alla milanese was a bit overcooked which were not deal-breakers but had an impact. Overall, expect big portion sizes, a great atmosphere and helpful staff but not the best food unfortunately.
We just stopped for a drink, at a venue that I used to go to after work. The place was busy but not over full so we managed to find a stool next to the window. Bar staff were friendly and helpful allowing us to try before we bought. Their suggestions were both good. It was a pity that there were no free tables so we had to move on for food. When next in the area we will book a table to eat at.
Great little bar, good selection of beers nice change from mainstream brands, fantastic pizza too. Didn't use the rooms.
Great location (about 5-10 min walk to subways, close to shopping of more designer stores, and great brunch spots). Great service (very friendly staff, helpful, clean, able to keep luggage before/after checkin/out. One star docked for the actual room. While it is very clean and beautiful there is no heating. They provided two small space heaters but not big enough for the actual room.

An absolutely beautiful pub with great food, amazing wine and impeccable service. I genuinely love all of The Thomas Cubitt pubs and this is one of my favourites. I have had lunches, drinks, dinners and recently held my birthday party in the Pimlico room downstairs and it was perfect. The staff treat you as though you are an old friend and go above and beyond to make sure you and your guests are taken care of. The lovely manager greeted me with a glass of Champagne and Jasmine, the wonderful bartender not only helped me set up but air dropped my playlist so that I could have access to my phone all night. I can't say enough good things about this place — perfect for special events, dinners, Sunday lunches and weekday pints/drinks, it's just a very special place. | Thank you, Nancy for always helping us make special memories at your pubs X
Beautifully located pub in Belgravia, spacious inside, with a historic look and feel. Only issues are perhaps a limited range of ales compared with somewhere like Cask, and it gets very busy at key hours (like a lot of pubs though tbh)
Very good roast lunch last Sunday. Good service and great food. I will be back. However they don’t take cash.
