Most incredible selection of giant cookies, slices and muffins. Couldn't go past the chocolate chip cookie. Washed down with a Chai Latte was a real treat. Lovely staff! A little cramped inside but a cute little cafe nonetheless

Cute little tucked away coffee spot. They only have soya milk as a milk alternative but it's good quality and they know how to use it well. Lovely little treats and friendly service make it a cosy spot to take time out.

Really delicious coffee. The barristers are sweet and friendly too, very chatty! The chocolate brownies and literally out of this world delicious. Gooey center yummy! Apparently the carrot cake is the favourite though, I will try it next time!

Great coffee from a great team!. With so many coffee shops springing up choices are a plenty, however if you find somewhere like this which serves fantastic coffee and the team running it know how to treat the customers and are great people then you stick to it. If you haven't been here its an amazing place and definitely one to go to, if you have then you're now probably a regular. Highly recommended !

Coffee shops are everywhere in London, especially in areas like Camden where almost everybody is clinging to a cup of something or other. You can’t throw a hipster without hitting a coffee shop in Camden (Go ahead. Try it… Please.) and that’s making it increasingly difficult for any of them to stand out.

Originally it was fairly simple: use some decent beans and put a swanky froth pattern on the top and you were done. The only real competition would have been a Starbucks down the road (and there’s always a Starbucks down the road) and their coffee is about as close to actual coffee as a cup of chicken tikka masala.

It's not like that now. Now you need more than just “good” coffee. You need that… something. When I used to work down Soho I used to frequent so many coffee shops, never staying with one because they honestly felt interchangeable. In fact looking back at it, there’s only one place I can even remember the name of, and that’s only because it was Soho’s favourite greasy spoon, Bar Bruno (review coming soon). Now though, whenever I’m in the area and fancy a coffee I’ll pop into Soho Bikes, because they have that something I look for in a coffee shop. Likewise whenever I’m near the Bond Street area and want a caffeine kick, it’ll be Daisy Green’s, although to be fair I’ll always have time for Daisy Green.

And now whenever I’m in Camden, I know my caffeine dealer of choice will be The Coffee Jar. Why? Let me elaborate.

I entered The Coffee Jar to the usual wood, stools and pastry spread and waited in the short queue. The people at the front of the queue appeared to be returning customers and were having a friendly conversation with the lady and guy behind the counter. Shortly after that I made my order of a latte and an almond croissant and trying to be polite, took a step to the side and let the girl behind me order… And it turned out that she too was a returning customer… And the guy after her… Annnd the girl after him. It turns out, throughout my entire stay at The Coffee Jar I was the only new customer amongst a sea of returning customers. That speaks bloody volumes about how nice these guys (and their coffee and snacks) are.

Moving on to the coffee and croissant, all I can say is I have no complaints at all. The coffee wasn’t too weak like a lot of coffee shops that are afraid of even the slightest of bitterness but wasn’t as strong as Soho Bikes (who at this moment in time serve my favourite latte in London). If I had to pick a side though, I would definitely say The Coffee Jar’s coffee leaned closer to Soho Bikes than most and that’s a big compliment.

The almond croissant was bloody lovely. Simple as that. Served at a nice cool temperature, the perfectly sweet croissant was wonderfully flaky and crispy on the outside but soft on the inside. It’s quite a decent size too and if you’re not allergic to nuts, make sure you grab one of these bad boys.

All in all The Coffee Jar is a great little place to stop by when in the Camden area and their customer service is only rivalled by the super friendly Orange Buffalo team.

Recycled wood is all the go in cafes at the moment and this place embraces that earthy feeling. Fortunately the coffee also tastes a treat, especially their flat white.

One of my favourite coffee shops in London, love the owner Maria. The coffee at this place is delicious and their cakes are lovely as well. Not at all over priced either, very reasonable. Definitely my first choice in Camden.

Super cute little coffee shop, just a couple of minutes walk from Camden Town tube station. I opted for an Oat Latte - which was excellent, and I was seriously tempted by their yummy looking selection of cakes & biscuits too! The coffee shop itself is tiny, but there is some seating inside and outside. Because the weather was so hot when I visited, I decided to sit outside in the shade and enjoy my coffee. Lovely little coffee shop, and really sweet staff too. Definitely worth visiting.

Small space coffeeshop with some regular and familiar faces everyday. You will feel like home here. The coffee is great and the barista recognize you on your next visit. Will visit again for sure.

They have a special blend of Monmouth coffee which must be one of the best in London. The fresh sandwiches and toasts are very wholesome too. It’s a small local spot which gives you a sense of the community in Camden. The owner - Maria - is happy to chat about the quirks of area and how the street has changed over the years which makes for a great experience. Highly recommend

Lovely ice latte with nutty chocolaty notes. Lots of sandwich combinations. The chicken avo one has perfectly toasted crispy bread. The chicken breast is flavorful and tender. And the lettuce looks very fresh. I can do without the ranch dressing though. A busy little shop. Plenty of regular customers from the surrounding community. Love the blackboard outside :P

Great cafe only a short walk from the Camden market in a quieter section of Camden. We sat outside so we could enjoy the sunshine. There was a good selection of sweets available, including an amazing vegan brownie 😍 The brownie was so good I would go back for that alone! Coffee and Chai tea was also wonderful. Friendly and helpful staff.

Cute little coffee place that also serves sweets and breakfast. We enjoyed it a lot to take one of the few seats outside and watch the hustle and bustle of Camden Town :) The Caffe Latte was great and the apricot almond muffin was delicious!
