Chandos - London - Photo album

Great beer and great food! Staff was friendly, helpful and fast! We had a couple of beers, fish and chips and a chicken burger! All were amazing, specially the fish! Even though most (if not all) people have unlimited data, I enjoyed the fact that there was no WiFi!
The good thing is the location. The food was what you expect from a Sam Smiths bar - not great, not bad. The decor is brilliant though!
We stopped in here for a drink after an afternoon show, good selection of beer's and wines, service was quick and the bar staff were friendly, didn't eat here but the food we saw being delivered to tables look nice,
Great Samuel smiths Brewery beers available, nice settings and food is lovely , only gripe I had is that I requested changing the mash for chips but got told would need to buy a extra side order if I wanted chips. Petty but annoying 🙄
I’m a massive pub lover. No idea to how many I’ve been to but too many. This one has all the things that I like, cozy seatings, good beers, good prices, friendly atmosphere and finger food to eat while drinking. Nothing can go wrong here.
Our go-to place for fish and chips in London!! Full bar downstairs and restaurant upstairs. Friendly staff round out a really positive eating experience. Oh, and another plus is that the restaurant is quiet, great for families and the locals. Well priced too.
Good place, tasty menu in general. Nice staff, it was a really good experience
Probably the biggest and best fish & chips I’ve ate! Delicious! The place was really calm, beautiful and the service was quick. You can also come just to have a drink, the menu has a large amount of different drinks.
Downstairs was thriving at 7 pm on a Thursday night. They serve drinks only. A decent choice for pub food is served upstairs. Bangers and mash, fish n chips, different combinations of burgers etc. My fish n chips was about £13.50. Good relaxing ambiance.
Good pub. Nice service, food was ok, fresh produce. You can also order food on the second floor, downstairs you can only order drinks and bar snacks. The value for money is okay.
If I've been to the National or Portrait Gallery, I pop in here. It's a Sam Smith's pub, it doesn't do chain beers, but does lovely lagers, a decent bitter and a stout so well poured and made I'd have it over Guinness in any pub if I could... Food is tasty, well sized portions too. Can be a real nic
Quite a nice pubs near Covent Garden. Would definitely recommend the Sam Smith Extra Stout. It was also £9.30 for a large wine but can't complain I guess because of London prices. Staff were friendly.
The beer is still excellent don't get me wrong. Still my favourite pub in central London. Been coming here for years and not too long ago, 5 years ago, a pint was £ 2.95 now it's £4.70!!! I can't blame them but it was an oasis. Still a good price for London and the beer is Quality!!!!! Thank you for
It’s handy for the theatres located around the West End here and busy before the start of performances. I had a good solid pint of Tadcaster beer. Service at the bar was slow and only one serving at their busiest time!
Doubtless my top 1 place to enjoy a proper beer. They offer a great selection of Samuel Smith at a very competitive price to be placed just in front of the National Gallery and 2 minutes away from Trafalgar Square.
The Chandos is a Sam Smith's pub. This is a Yorkshire brewery and only serves their own brand food and drinks (so no brands like Guinness, Stella etc.). This feels like an old London pub. I have been visiting this pub for many many years and it has barely changed in all that time. My tip is to g
If you want great historical pubs, then this is for you (like nearly all Samuel Smith pubs - great buildings with character). It is just across from Trafalgar Square. They have a great array of beers to choose from and at reasonable prices. Food looks great too. Large portions, but I focused on the
