This is a another classic place in the area the food here is nice and tasty. Compare to the portion sizes the price is high. But as I say you pay for what you get. The service is good.
I held a celebration here with 10 people. The place was comfy, with a diverse clientele, everyone loved the food and we took lots home, and best of all the service was OUTSTANDING. We all agreed to leave the biggest tip ive left. And im American! ;)
Jen Smith. Wonderful place. Cannot recommend it enough-staff are friendly, food is wonderful, service is quick, prices are very reasonable. Will be back time and again!
Went here for the first time this week. And will definately go back. Don't be put off by the scruffiness of turnpike lane cos inside the deco is very clean and tidy. The food was excellent and not expensive for the quality.
Really Good indian. Went with my brother, he's a regular there.
Very reasonably priced. Didn't bother with the menu, 'bring us food for 4 (number as applicable)'
Lots of fish, beautifly cooked, possibly the biggest prawns I've ever seen!
The good news is that despite being so much better, Jashan’s prices are not that much higher than at your bog-standard Indian restaurant or take away. Allow £15 – 20 per head for a starter, main, rice, naan and a beer and you’ll leave happy (and really rather full).
We've tried a few of the curry places in the surrounding areas and local takeaway places too, but this one is the one we all keep coming back to. The food is excellent quality and can be really spices if you want it to be. The starters are a nice way to sample 'tapas style' a variety of dishes.
Big lover of Indian food and this is one of the best and most original Indian restuarants I’ve been to in London. Really. Can’t understand the reviews below. Try any of the fish dishes or the lamb chops. Definitely one to try once you’ve you’ve exhausted the number of times you can go to the Turkish joints on Green Lanes.
The ambience is dull...the food was kinda ok...but you know when you are done with sausages and bacons...this place will not let you down!!
Nice quiet atmosphere. Food and service was tasty and arrived promptly. Chap at the front counter was great even came looking outside for us when little one left her water bottle. Will definitely be visiting again, hospitality & to try other dishes.
Wonderful staff, wonderful food, wonderful place!
I came in here recently for their Lamb Biryani and I was not left disappointed! The food was honestly elite tier and cooked through and so well. Alongside this we were brought out some free chicken wings from their new range. Again these were cooked so well.
I will be back again that’s for sure
Delicious yummy food. The keema naan was superb & the portions of the chicken saag & lamb curry with okra were yummy but a little spicy. The chat masala & jeera rice, lamb birani & mango lassi’s were yummy & the gulab jamun were very tasty! Prices were good and the portion size. Will return again inshallah thank you 😊
The food was really nice. Didn't manage to take pics of all the food. The lamb karahi was very tasty.
The man who served us had a top attitude towards his customers and gave us the time to talk through everything. Lovely and well attentive. Food (the takeaway boxes were filled to the top) tasted better because of it
Good value Indian food. I eat vegetarian food and the curry is good. Love the lady who brings the food out on a trolley. The price is always very reasonable. Worth trying if you are in Turnpike Lane or Wood Green, London.
This is our first time. Delicious food. Service is good. Staffs were very good, kids friendly.
Really enjoyed my chicken with rice and roti everything just needed to be spicer and Punjabi samosas were delicious
This is a nice Indian restaurant in Tottenham.
The interior is clean and the staff are very friendly.
The tandoori chicken is excellent and authentic. The biryani is traditionally made with the bread roti topping used for baking.
A good selection of meat and vegetarian dishes with vegan options available.
I gave 4 only because 3 times I had to wait, they have great grill chicken with great sauce options, the chicken is similar to another restaurant but the price is very reasonable £6.99, great value and quality.
You must try the Goan fish curry with the date and coconut nan. 🫶🏾
Service is amazing!! The old man there is referred to affectionately, between my friend and I, as being my other father ahahah, he is so sweet! Its a family run business which makes this place feel like youre visiting a very well organised home. The food's absolutely great. I definitely recommend. I've been here 3 times so far, twice for takeaway, and each time I experienced tremendous kindness. Its as if once you enter the realm of Jashan's everyone's suddenly on happy pills, well, whatever the reason for the happiness, I hope they remain that way for as long as they are alive. Love this place.
And, I forgot to mention, the value for money is mind-blowing! A full main dish costs around £7.
Place looks like it's been refurbed a few months ago, place looks clean, food was fresh and tasty, chicken biryani, keema, nan, egg fried rice, all tasty, ask for the chillis, ras malai dessert, would go again, on main Rd, hence street parking
