I went to Mimmo La Bufala last week with my family and I absolutely loved it. Everything, the food was amazing and I was surprised to see that all of the tables were very clean and that the staff worked as hard as they could to make my experience the best as possible. I will absolutely come back in the future. Bravo!
Excellent dining experience, authentic Italian food cooked to perfection. Great atmosphere and really friendly caring staff . Thank you for a wonderful time. Will be back. Bravo.
We celebrated a Birthday with the whole family at "Mimmo's" and it was so perfect it could be! The food, as always, where just first class, even a pizza! The meny offers something "for every tummy"! The staff made every effort to feel us "at home" in the very cozy restaurant in Hamstead . The came the chocolate cake with sparkeling lights on carried by the staff that sung for us. Such a surprise! The restaurant is very much worth visiting, for a nice evening event or just having a pizza for lunch. So - if beeing in London - is this restaurant easy to reach from down town since it is just across the underground station.
Mimmo La Bufala serves mouth-watering, authentic Italian food in the heart of Hampstead, London. Stepping inside this gorgeously decorated restaurant that is both sleek and elegant you are welcomed by an array of friendly staff and waiters. The menu is extensive and varied with some exciting specials and combinations. The bruschetta was to die for as are the pizzas which are made with high quality mozzarella that I haven't found anywhere else in London. The pasta dishes are also fantastic and are always cooked perfectly. Deserts are lovely as well. You feel as though you could be dining in the middle of Rome, the food is totally authentic Italian. I honestly wouldn't both going to any other Italian restaurant in London as Mimmo La Bufala is far superior.
great service and one of the best pizzas I've ever had (and I've eaten a lot of pizza). especially good after a nice long walk on the heath. not expensive either - highly recommended.
Expensive place but has a wonderful staff !!
We went as a group.. it is bang opposite he Banstead Heath station.. bigger group.. bigger options to try more food! Starters - friend calamari (very nice)... and a Bufala cheese starter (bufala cheese surrounded in tomato sauce) along with a focaccia ! Now that set the mood and the expectations !
Food - we ordered a lot of fish - al forno, in acqua pazza (my order and the a good order)... others had some chicken risotto.. an oven baked pizza .. no one complained ! But it is hard to review the mains .
Desserts were a bundle of surprise ! Pleasant !! We tried the tortinno chocolito (I'm sorry I can't remember the name !.. but it takes 20mins to be made and is a beautiful warm chocolate sauce in a warm brownie with some vanilla icecream! What a tasteful delight !)... tiramisu.. not Everyone gets that right .. but these guys did !... and finally a pan cotta cheese with blueberries dessert .. which was another unexpected delight . We also had someone try an espresso shot with vanilla ... which was just lovely !
So all in all.. a good experience .
Very nice pizza at these family runned restaurant in Hampsted, the owner Mimmo is often in there, and i hope to come back soon. the service is very good indeed.
Although a little tucked away and you might miss it, the food they serve is really good. You just know that everything is made fresh to order than than being pre-prepared and that is why it earns itself a 4.0 rating
Fantastic place if you are craving mozzarella cheese, or pizza in general…I liked the staff, which was very friendly and prompt. We were five and our dinner was very fun. Also, the pizza was very well cooked and succulent. Prices are okay, and you should spend roughly 50 £ for two people. I would define the restaurant as the perfect place where to enjoy your time with friends.
Very nice place to eat, the food is excellent and the service is exceptional. I highly recomend this place very satisfied.
We passed this restaurant by chance. It had an interesting menu and inviting seatings, small but intimate. (We later discovered that there was a larger section tucked at the back). My wife's seafood risotto was full of flavour, and the rice was cooked just to the right texture. My folded pizza had one of the nicest doughs I have tried recently and had generous toppings. Service was warm, and prices were fair for the area. We will certainly come again next time we are in the area.
A lovely restaurant in the heart of a London suburb... my son called the focaccia Bread his favorite all-time... pizza tasted like every ingredient was freshly made this morning. Chicken was seasoned to perfection and so moist. An amazing eatery that you should definitely check out... kid friendly and adult approved!
The food was incredible. I had the paccheri (a bit let down by the presentation, but the meal itself was delicious). My fiancée had the risotto and thoroughly enjoyed it.
Service is a let down. My friend was asked and re-asked, and the wait staff were confused about whether they had Coke Zero or Diet Coke. Waiting for the bill took a while as well.
There's a lovely bit of Al fresco dining too.
Our daughter wanted to make sure we would like her boyfriend, so she brought us here. It is an exquisite restaurant. I am Italian and they served us some great Italian food.
Really worth the price.
BEST PIZZA IN ALL OF LONDON!! Amazing Italian food, staff and live music every Saturday! Must visit!!!
Delicious calzone, parmigiana and pizzas, fantastic service from Dea (who prioritised our kid and brought some bread to him) and overall a great experience with lovely atmosphere. Definitely will be back and highly recommend this place to anyone.
The staff here are wonderful. We ordered quite a bit but the sautéed prawns as a starter was great, I highly recommend their seafood linguine as a main too. We ordered a focaccia rosa as well, however it came as a pizza style which was a bit different but still tasted good even though it was slightly charred underneath. We were offered a complimentary tiramisu at the end and it was delicious.
Oh my goodness this place was awesome! We were very lucky to have found it on a warm day as we were able to sit outside. There were 7 of us and every single person left feeling very happy with the food. The service was good too, we were made to feel very comfortable. Top marks! Will definitely b coming back.
Quite authentic Italian restaurant experience in London! Local 5 star cozy place with spot on wood fired Pizzas and fresh Pasta and delicious starters. Parmigianina Di melanzane
is unmissable. Very nice & friendly staff as well as good value for money dishes.
While the pasta is lovely and delicious in this little Italian joint staffed by people who know and love the food, I didn't get the dreamy pizza I had hoped for, wet and undercooked in the middle of an otherwise well seasoned dish.
Don't let my one off experience put you off, the pastas were delicious and should be tried if you're nearby.
Nice staff was really really amazing food light on the belly if u no what im mean.Well cooked no come back s lol best food all round would eat everyday if i lived here
I came here on my wedding anniversary, we had a lovely evening The food was amazing. I highly recommend this little place in hampered. We were looked after by Roberto such a pleasant man. The only downside was that day the pizza oven was getting cleaned. So I will def come back to try out the pizza.
And the music was amazing all evening.
