Lavender is a cozy and intimate restaurant and pub, it reminds me of a romantic bistrot. I have been here quite a few times with my friends and I have always enjoyed myself. The quality of the food is top class, there is clearly love behind every dishes, the fresh ingredients, the presentation and the combination of the flavours. It's a simple but creative cuisine and the prices, compared to what you are offered, are totally reasonable. Excellent also the selection of the Italians wines. The service is thoughtful and caring. Roberto, in particular, is always taking good care of our party giving us tips and advices. When i am at the Lavender I feel home.

Well cooked food, good service, very friendly and accommodating Staff; nice, relaxed atmosphere with a good selection of music to suit most tastes. Bottled water is too expensive! Portion size was good, but even with the Groupon offer this was more expensive than normal. We would go back though, because it is always a nice experience, but choose a better offer the next time

Went to the Lavender with a group of friends on a Thursday night. We felt very welcomed and the staff treated us extremely well. The atmosphere of the venue invites us to relax and enjoy our conversations. About the food, I choosed the calamari prepared at the Sicilian style, a dish I never had before. I enjoyed it so much that I orderes a second round!!! Will definitely come back

The place is nice and the staff is very friendly. The most exciting part is the food, in particular fresh fish and good wine. If you are curious and want to know more about food and ingredients, do not miss to speak to Giorgio who is more than happy to provide for additional details. A lovely place where to live a special, Italian lunch.

We came here on a groupon offer of 6 courses. The food was really good, and in particular the lobster was sublime. The atmosphere was good too. Only downside to our visit - the dishes served in the offer weren't filling (virtually a carb free meal!), but I'd definitely go back especially on a Thursday when they have lobster and chips special for under £20.

I live around the corner from The Lavender and have wanted to go there for awhile. I went for dinner with my Mum and was not disappointed. We were welcomed by the friendly staff and given prompt service. The menu gave a variety of options, but not too many as to make it difficult to choose. The food was delivered quickly and was delicious with a decent portion supplied. The Lavender is a pleasant local restaurant/bar with a nice outside space all be it on the road. It's worth a visit in the evening or at the weekend for a relaxing drink or meal. I would much rather support these local restaurants than the chains further down the road on Northcote road.

Went to the Lavender in the summer, ate some lovely food and met some equally lovely people. Ordered the fish platter as a starter, unfortunately we were told that this particular dish was no longer available, they went on to recommend a 'quirky' alternative consisting of tuna, strawberries and a balsamic glaze, we were unsure but decided to go with the recommendation and we were not disappointed! Need to revisit soon, food is slightly overpriced but worth the visit as a little treat!

I recently moved to L.Hill and wanted to quickly establish a local as I missed my old one straight away... The Lavender didn't disappoint, fun staff, good vibe, I really like heading down there and catching up with the guys. Come in and say hello! Tom
