Quo Vadis - London - Photo album

A unique dining experience at this renowned British restaurant in Soho. It's famous for its pies and smoked eel sandwich. I had a chicken and rabbit pie Was very tasty but could have used some veggies. It's primarily meat and sauce with a crispy tasty pastry on top. The jellied pork starter was deli
Amazing place! Every dish was absolutely delicious… even the mutton pie- while I’m not generally a bit fan of meat pies, this one blew me away!
I was fortunate to come to London for a holiday when Quo Vadis had finally opened after going through a renovation. My previous experience with eel has been in the form of sushi (which can sometimes has an oily taste) so this piquant version was a delicious surprise. The meaty pieces of smoked eel,
Great food in a fabulous atmosphere. Device is very attentive and competent. Every single dish was perfectly cooked. From the oysters to the skate with capers to the creme caramel a l orange to the legendary smoked eel sandwich ( the chips were also tremendous, probably triple cooked in goose fat )
Overall wonderful experience. Would go back. The mackerel with pickled rhubarb and freshly made horseradish sauce was a dream. The starter of artichokes and fennel - somewhat meh. And the main course of porchetta (served cold) is mis-categorized - the porchetta is wonderful but with all the caper
Friendly staff, food came quickly. Both starter and main tasted pretty good!
Cosy room and good British grub. I had pie was which was slightly salty but very rich and enjoyable. The food is presented well but it lacks a little something! Veggies on the side were small and nothing special. The only thing that annoyed me is the staff constantly trying to sell us wine. It seem
We stopped at Quo Vadis on the way to a show, not knowing it was famous, and instantly got charmed by the beautifully designed menu. We had a mix of mostly vegetarian starters and cocktails. Our waiter was lovely and food excelent - especially the fig & goat cheese sandwich. Recommended :)
Eels sandwich is one to remember! The rest of the meal ( baked salsify, venison and ox cheek) was delicious and service was attentive yet relaxed. Cocktails and wine list were on point too!
Jigsaw puzzles. You open the box, dump all the pieces out onto the table, and your initial impression is typically, “Huh? Do these pieces in any way match the puzzle that I THOUGHT that I bought?” 🤷‍♂️ Well it sure felt that way when gazing at the “Quo Vadis”menu tonight. Me: “Pardon me. Is th
It’s a while since we visited Quo Vardis but as members and having been close by after a matinee theatre performance we rang to book an early table. Well! A transformation has occurred since we were last there for the better I hasten to add. We were greeted like long lost friends and ushered upstair
Super British food. Tasty, quality ingredients and good portions. Lots of unique and traditional dishes to choose from. Their pastries / pies are also amazing. They are open to non-members while they renovate, so definitely a must try before it isn't open to the public.
So we got married! Last week, we had our reception here. Julia and other staff were so attentive! Beautiful place, helped us continuously and throughout. Made a bar for us and just continuously catered to our every need. We hired the blue room, recommend! Also the sausage rolls and cheese twists are
I really like that they change the menu here regularly and have some great traditional British dishes to try. They also have a members bar here where they have a good selection of wine and drinks. The venue itself is stylish as well.
My first time here and was not disappointed. Nice welcome and then attentive service throughout the evening. We all enjoyed our food and a good wine list. This will be our go to place from now on in soho
We hosted our work Christmas lunch here and everything was spot on. The food was so tasty and fresh, service was great and the private dining room we were in the (The Blue Room) was so beautifully decorated and cosy, exactly what you want from a Christmas lunch.
