Great time with partner and friends
Great Thai food and i will well recommend the Greenwich Royal cocktail..yummy!
The atmosphere was relaxing, sitting outside for our meal looking over the Cutty Sark.
Inside is also lovely, good furnishings and big fishes .
Great service, staff were friendly and the decor and atmosphere was beautiful. I absolutely loved the decor and how it has kept within tradition. The mocktails and food was great; I absolutely loved the shrimp tempura starter and my Pad Kra-Pao seafood main dish. A bit disappointed that the dishes did not come with either rice or noodles, and you have to buy it separately as usually it would and especially for the price point. However, overall I had a lovely experience and I would most definitely recommend this place.

Massive portions, really tasty and great variety! We had dinner on the terrace with a river-side view, and the drinks were very affordable too! Quick and attentive service, would definitely come back!
An absolutely amazing hidden away gem in the heart of London with amazing river views. We all got the stir fry and it was bursting with flavour. The staff were extremely attentive and having free parking was another great feature, especially given the location.

Traditional Thai dining situated along the beautiful riverside. I met up with my friends after the LONGEST time! We headed to @kinkaothai . This is was a place the Nutters and I used to visit frequently as they used to have a great lunch menu, which they no longer do sadly. Also because we really enjoy their food.

I ALWAYS order the same items, mixed starter (the fish cakes are sooooo tasty!) and Pad Ke Mao. You canโt go wrong with them, theyโre so flavoursome and the Noodles are spicy, just how I love it. We decided to order an array of dishes and shared them. I really enjoyed the Thai Green Curry too, it was thick, creamy and spicy! Overall, a lovely afternoon spent with some very dear friends!
Wonderful, authentic, beautifully prepared thaifoodโฆ.supertasty, VERY generous portionsโฆ..just deliciousโฆ..and at VERY reasonable pricesโฆ. Great view over the river, amazing service and the wood carvings (tables, chairs, bar etc) bring back memories of Thailandโฆ.I just LOVE this place and would give it 10 out of 10 if I could!
I love it! The best Thai restaurant in London :D.
Beautiful view to Greenwhich Naval School, Thames River and Cutty Sark.
Delicious food!
Authentic Thai restaurant with attentive staff and ample parking available. We loved the red curry and pad thai. We'll definitely return to try more!
This Thai restaurant is a hidden gem on the Isle of Dog. Overlooking the river Thames and Cutty Shark, the views are amazing from the restaurant. Food is authentic and has a good spread of cocktails as well. A pint of beer on a sunny day with Thai green curry overlooking the lovely Thames... heavenly!
My friend reserved a table for dinner on a Friday night so didnโt have to wait. Thereโs service charge at this restaurant but customer service was on point as waiting staff were attentive and friendly so was worth it.
Food came quick, they were cooked fresh and were delicious. Pad thai and drunken chicken noodles were our favourites. Mixed sharing platter was lovely too.
Overall, a good dining experience and the view next to the restaurant is so nice! ๐
Lovely Thai food, really loved the decorations and tables setup thought that it bought out the Thai feel to the restaurant also has outside seating area overlooking Thames river. A group of 5 of us ate here ordered Set A and Seta B menu 2 people sharing total costs ยฃ150. I would recommend ordering Set menus as it consists of several variety of starters and mains which includes duck, beef, chicken and vegetable currys.
My three friends and I went to Kinkao without reservation and were seated in a nice place. The ambience of the place is very nice and accommodative with soothing music and clean bathrooms.
We ordered vegetarian starter and Thai Currys and rice. We also ordered freshly squeezed orange juice which was delicious al biet expensive.
The food in general was above average and the price was above average too.
As the restaurant is located on the Riverside with a beautiful view, the price can probably be justified.
One thing which could have been better was the service. Viva served by two different ladies , one of whom was nice and helpful while the other lady in red was a bit rude and unnecessarily upset.
Overall, it was a pleasant experience barring the lady in red.
I was searching for a good Thai place for a long time. I dined here a couple of times. A great place with multiple variety of items. The food is well cooked and flavourful, and finally you can't miss the beautiful garnishing . Order some chilli oil if you want it extra hot.
Ambience is great to spend a quality time with friends and family. I would highly recommend this place who wants to try out authentic food.
When we visited, the Beer lines were dirty so the draught beer was vinegary and undrinkable (an easy fix, they just needed to pump through plenty of beer until it runs clean - though the wait staff didnโt understand this) so my partner stuck with bottled beer instead. There were three white wines by the glass available - an Italian Pinot Grigio, French Sauvignon Blanc/Viognier blend, and a Thai Columbard wine which was rather good. Fresh, green fruits and minerally.
The food was very tasty - ยฃ28.95pp for Set Menu A which came with a delicious Tom Kai soup (chicken in a fragrant coconut milk broth), a starter platter of satay sticks, veg spring rolls, prawn leg in filo, breaded chicken wings, fishcake, and prawn toast. The Massaman curry, which was one of the mains, was absolutely excellent, and we will definitely order again. The two stir-fries, a chicken & cashew, and a prawn one were very similar, and it would have been nice to have had three very different dishes. They were served with a mixed vegetables dish, and a bowl of rice each. Plenty of food and all very delicious.
It was a very good meal and we hope to return.
We have also ordered takeaway from Kinkao, and it is really excellent. You certainly get more than you pay for - beautiful dishes, fresh flavours, well prepared.
My go to place, can't go wrong. Reliable, consistent, quality and great tasting food. Staff are always polite and helpful. The venue is clean, easy parking in front and you can end your evening with a Riverside walk.
Kinkao is a culinary treasure. Their Thai food is a symphony of flavors โ the perfect balance of sweet, savory, and spicy. Every dish is a work of art, and the freshness of the ingredients shines through. It's an exceptional culinary journey, and I can't get enough of it.
I have always enjoyed dining here, the starters and mains are both nice. I usually get the aromatic duck with the sauce and pancake as a starter and have tried different mains like the chicken and beef. The workers are pleasant too, there is a large indoor seating area and I have also sat outside on the waterfront which is nice when the weather isnโt windy.
