Amazing food, great service, good music and vibes! I was very much positively suprised with every dish I tried. I wish I had more space to explore more options:) Their kunefe was the best I had so far. I would strongly recommend you to try it. Staff was very friendly as well and I enjoyed my dinner very much. I will be coming back to this lovely place when I am in London.
First time coming here with my family and we loved it! We were amazed by the interior of the restaurant and it was made even better by the delicious food! Their falafel was so good. I really enjoyed their Fattush Salad whilst my mum loved the Grapefruit Salad. We also ordered Peach Ice Tea which was a great match to the meal!
It is not so common to find a restaurant where everything served is absolutely delicious. So, try to taste as many items as possible (especially among starters & sides). Go in a big group and order everything on the menu. There are numerous vegetarian options as well, and the serving size is decent too. Above all the best part is that it is not very expensive either. Enjoy 👌😋😜
The food was very good and tasty, with very good sizes, we were absolutely full sharing three plates between two of us!
The staff were very nice and attentive.
The location is very good, although the space is a bit limited. The decoration in the ground floor is very nice, although in the top dining space is a bit lacking.
All in all a good find for great food in the area!
Great place for Israeli food. Sabih was good, huge and had all the good things like brown eggs. The little things they bring complementry are great, especially the tea in the end. Perfect. Yemen Blues playlist in the background made this a great place for Saturday brunch :) Only things that can improve - its cold upstairs, and the Sabich came in a laffa, which was tough and hard to eat in places, and it took a while to get the bill (until was told I need to pay downstairs with a card).
The food was AMAZING and was not overpriced. The atmosphere was great and very pretty. The waiters were really friendly and helpful. The food did not take long to come and was delicious. Suitable for children and vegetarians.
Incredible Israeli food in London! Some of the best Israeli dishes I had outside of Israel (couscous, hummus, grilled cauliflower, pita bread and much more). Highly recommend if you’re in town. Fresh and delicious.
Serendipity. We were wandering along Ken High St from the Design Museum, looking for a place to have a quick lunch. We discarded the Byron Burgers & Gail’s, but were tempted in to Melabes. Thank goodness we were as it is now one of my top delicious food stops. The decor is wood, brick, copper utensils hung, quite basic tables & chairs. Simple but well done. The food is cooked over charcoal in an open kitchen & as fresh as fresh can be. Utterly blissful velvety hoummus, best ever falafels that were crisp on the exterior but full of freshest herbs & ingredients inside ( served with proper tahini) the pita bread were puffy warm rounds freshly made and served in a paper bag, the chicken schnitzel had sesame seeds in the crispy fresh breadcrumb and the potato wedges with labne were mouth-wateringly good. So that was just our starters!
The menu is essentially middle eastern but has plenty of choice.
Service was fast, efficient, smiling and helpful.
This place deserves to be packed out all day.
DELICIOUS SHARING DISHES!
As you walk in, the cozy warmth from the kitchen is so inviting and the scent of the bread baking is divine!
We had a wonderful time during a late lunch visit on a Saturday. We were greeted with a smile and seated upstairs next to the large impressive window, overlooking the high street.
The falafel was bursting with flavour, the Arias had a delicious smokey charred taste, and the Bata sweet potato was luxurious and soft.
Accompanied by some sesame bread, and an overall fantastic meal!
We look forward to visiting again soon!
I went to this place on friends recommendation. They have lot of vegetarian options. The food was plenty variety but was served in very small quantity. The staff wasn't very helpful in recommending the dishes or answering our questions. Having said that Zaatar laffa was good. Spicy tomato salad was mediocre. But the dessert Coconut pannacotta was truly worth trying. It came with rose flavouring and was very refreshing to eat.
Go here if you want to enjoy authentic Mediterranean flavours in a cozily rustic ambience. The restaurant is in a convenient location om high street that you will not miss although the sign board is not very prominent. We tried the Aries (minced meat packed in a piece of Pita bread and grilled just enough that it doesnt burn) - liked it. They also have other breads topped with sesame, garlic etc which are great too. The other items on the menu which we enjoyed were the kebabs, Hummous and grilled chicken with Pomegranate sauce - all of them tasted awesome. I'd say the prices are good for the overall quality of food and the experience. Will very definetely visit this place again.
amazing ! Usually me and my wife have to visit Israel to enjoy the real thing, but we finally found authentic and delicious Israeli food in London. highly recommended, we'll come back again.
Probably one of the best places to eat hummus, cauliflower, shawarma and any other middle eastern food that you can think of. Has style, class, upscale food but with a lot of love and soul put into it. Highly recommend it!
Would recommend the hummus which was very flavourful; came with a bag of small, fluffy pita bread.
We also order skewers of sea bass and lamb. The seabass was well seasoned and had a good, firm texture; we also found the grilled lamb very tender, with the right amount of fats. Portion-wise, the amount of meat per skewer left us wanting more.
Absolutely amazing place with the great food. Hummus is the best one I've tried. I also can recommend to go with a skewer. But somehow I am sure that everything else is on the same high level. Ah yes, the coconut desert is must have! I wish I can give 6 stars.
Delicious meze style food in ambient surroundings. Service was swift and efficient from very welcoming & friendly staff. Great value for money in this part of London. Highly recommend!
Israeli street food at it's best. All made fresh to order. Mediterranean flavours fusion and excellent vegetarian options. Food is served on a plate or inside a flat bread 'pita', if you're looking for a small bite to grab.
Love this place! Delicious vegan options and we thoroughly enjoyed our experience. The only slight let down was the chocolate brioche cake which was slightly stale. Cosy place with lovely staff!
