Bonnie Gull Seafood Shack - Soho - London - Photo album

Relatively recent opener, it's small, quiet and had a nice atmosphere. Service was good, food was quite good... some dishes weren't great IMO, but others were divine (I'm looking at you slow cooked cuttlefish). There's an oyster selection. Prices are fair and aren't much more expensive than nearby
Fantastic place. All the meals were amazing and the menu was interesting. I was in London for 8 nights and ate there twice. The seafood was clearly very fresh and the menu changed between my visits to reflect the produce of the day. The desert was amazing too. There are so many tourist traps near
Crispy, light, fresh and scrumptious! Filling but not heavy—definitely a great foodie experience! I ate at the bar and got my food almost immediately. The staff and chefs are super friendly, and the restaurant has a chill atmosphere. All in all, definitely a 5/5 experience!
This place knows seafood! Tucked away in the heart of Soho, this gem ticked all the boxes of a fine, affordable, friendly seafood establishment. We were greeted warmly by the chefs at the bar, by name from the host who took us back to our snug table. We settled on a bottle of gorgeous wine and set o
There aren't enough words to describe how amazing this whole meal was. Fish was moist and flaky, oysters tasted so clean and the mussels were cooked just right. And the chips.. omg the chips... Super crispy outside and fluffy in the middle
Great service (until it came to Bill time), lovely fresh (hand-caught) seafood. Tried a couple of different wines - need some guidance on the matching, but great experience. Be warned - it's small!
We order Oyster, pickled herring and Mussels as starters. All are very nice. Especially the herring, I first had that in Amsterdam and the one here is definitely much better. Then come to the main focus of tonight, the fish and chips! We are lucky to get the last one of the night, and it is just 7pm
Great £1 Happy Hour Oyster deal, otherwise a fairly pricey but interesting menu. Wet Bar & small seating area serving a decent range of fish & seafood along with a range of small dishes. Nice place with friendly & attentive staff.
Excellent fried oysters! Well balanced! You can easily ruin something as delicate as fresh oysters but it was not over battered or over “sauced”. Perfectly executed! The menu didn’t accommodate the dietary restrictions of everyone in our party but the chef improvised and it was fantastic. Thank you!
buck-a-shuck from 5-6 PM and $5 drinks. Not too crowded on a Thursday. Oysters were fresh, the bloody mary's were infused with some kind of ocean-y flavor which was delightful. Service was friendly and laid-back. We'll definitely be back for more!
Small, cozy and stylish seafood bar in the heart of Soho. Overall, the food tastes really delicious and the menu is very interesting. As a seafood lover, I should point out that they offer more of a 'creative/fusion' seafood dishes. They do taste really good. I just prefer the more 'bare and exposed
Overall very good. They have a happy 'hour' 4 to 6, and apart from the cheaper drinks, today they had Jersey oysters for 1gbp each. I had the fish and chips, which is certainly wow to look at. Fish just a bit dry, the chips just a bit too salty. I'd certainly come back to try the other stuff. Oh and
Fine service, clean and nice place to eat. The price is little bit high, although the oyster was really fresh and dishes were delicious.
Awesome! Best fish and chips I've ever tasted. Tartare sauce delicious. We also had Shetland Mussels - very good. Photo taken after we started, sorry it was looked too good to resist.
Amazing seafood! So fresh and cooked so perfectly. Definitely going back again. Order the oyster tempura, you won’t regret it.
Incredible place for all kinds of seafood. The fish and chips were delicious! Awesome atmosphere and staff. If you’re in the area, get yourself a reservation.
Really good and nice staff. The oyster happy hour was awesome and the small plates (actually small) are really tasty and original.
Fresh seafood in the heart of Soho, it's a small space there are bar stools in the front and at the back there are small tables so book ahead if you want to be seated. Lots of small plates and chefs are inspired with trying different ingredients from around the world with the freshest catch. Service
The seaside in London. This spot captures a classic seafood shack combined with London sophistication. Great seafood, good music & special people working here.
