This is my favourite Thai restaurant in London and I whenever anyone is visiting me I always take them to this place. I am a vegetarian, so main course options are limited for me (only Red thai curry and tofu pad thai) but both the dishes are so delicious and perfectly cooked that i keep going back. Ambience is nice in the evenings but during lunch time it can get too crowded.
Very warm ambience, great Thai option.
Have had:
Pad Thai: one of the best I have had. Perfectly cooked and flavorful.
Basil chicken with jasmine rice: very flavourful. Light and fresh.
Green Thai curry: again very well done.
Everything here is cooked with the right proportions, fresh and hence giving the perfect Thai flavour. Go to place!
I visited this place for a Thai break and love the experience, Though this place is completely packed and is difficult to get a table here but once inside it's quite a decent experience. The food is excellent and the service is pretty efficient. The staff is warm and friendly as well. The ambience is that of a typical fast food joint but overall the experience was good because I just loved the food.
This has to be my personal favorite serving Thai cuisine around in London. I think it is very well priced and the quality and quantity of the food is impeccable. Whatever I have sampled until now has been a delight and delicious.
A recommendation would be the duck stew with lots of vegetables.
The place offers delicious Thai food, which is very delightful and appetizing. All the dishes we ordered were well prepared. The ambiance of the place has a contemporary-modern type of decor. The service is good, with the servers being hospitable and friendly. I would definitely consider becoming a regular here.
We dined here recently, and enjoyed our experience a lot. The place is a little small in size, so one has to be early to get a seat. The service was amazing, as was the atmosphere. The food tastes delicious and sumptuous, and the proportions were generous. We would definitely revisit, and recommend the same to others.
This little Thai restaurant is great. I've been here a couple of time and always returned happy. The food is good and the service great. The staff is prompt while letting you have your privacy. The place has a very good view too especially if the weather is nice.
I have been eating at this authentic Thai joint for years now. I have never been dismayed by the service or the quality of staff. The food is value for money and perfect for the robust taste pallet I have. One may need to book a table in advance, although I am not sure if they take reservations.
This is one of my favourite restaurants and I have always enjoyed my time there. This place serves some really authentic Thai food and that too at reasonable prices. The food is always quite fresh and wholesome. The staff is affable and I must mention that this restaurant houses some of the finest wines. I would suggest you to make a reservation before going to this restaurant.
Even after not pre-booking we were led to our table pretty soon. The starters we ordered had a variety of stuff all of which were quite fantastic in taste. For the main course i would recommend chicken thai green chicken. The prices of the beverages when compared to the city rates were alright. But fir me the no wifi facility was a let down.
This has been my third visit to this place and each of the times I have left extremely satisfied. The food here is great and has delicious flavors! The menu houses some exciting wine options. The staff and their service is excellent.
In my opinion, this place is very aptly priced for this city!
I went to this restaurant during lunchtime and the food served was really authentic. The portions were also quite good and the the entire meal was delicious. I would strongly recommend you people to try this place and I am pretty sure that you will definitely get the value for your money. I would be returning soon again.
I used to be a regular at this place some while ago, but stopped coming here recently. But after trying this place again, I have come here three times consecutively. This restaurant has never disappointed me. It is always busy, which stands to testify their yummy food and quality, and yet they have an amazing service. Their grilled seafood platter is one of the better ones served in the city, and tastes exceptional with their green chili sauce. Their noodles are cooked with an expertise that is visible very rarely. I definitely plan on coming here regularly from now on.
We stumbled upon this restaurant looking for a Thai place, while wandering in that neighbourhood. We were pleased by our lunch. It was completely packed, but we luckily managed to get a seat. I can vouch for the fact that it is some of the best Thai cuisine available in this city. The food could be a little on the expensive side, but it is worth every single dime. There is one slight issue here, though. It takes a pretty long time to get served here. But, given the crowd, that is excusable. I will definitely return, and take my friends along.
I love this place and visited it a lot of times. It has one of the most casual and chilled out ambiance. The waiting staff is very sweet and responsible. The various items available on the menu are excellent and taste incredible. And this becomes more comforting when the prices charged for the same easy on the pocket. The only lowdown would be the service charge but then it seems to be pretty common in the city.
Moneky and Me is a Thai Restaurant located in the Marylebone area and more specific on Crawford Street, five minuties walk from Marylebone station and Baker Street tube station. The venue offers typical authentic Thai cuisine, prepared by expert chef, in a modern, attractive and cozy atmosphere. Also they provide home delivery, takeaway and outdoor seating.
Went there in my lunch break from university and ordered the Seaweed Soup, contained seaweed with mixed vegetables as a starter and Kor Moo Yang, which was an amazing grilled and marinated pork with Thai spicy Sauce. The meals were more than marvelous and I highly recommend them! Great venue with amazing meals and services!
Monkey & me is a small and cosy Thai restaurant on Crawford street far enough away from the main roads to make sitting outside a pleasant noise free experience yet close enough to be walking distance from Baker Street. The outdoor seating is actually really good though there is only three tables and when the weather is good its generally hard to get one of these.
The food is very good here. We tried one of the main curries and a stir fry. Not much to fault there at all, all very tasty and well presented. I would def be coming back.
Monkey and Me is a small and intimate Thai restaurant offering a range of classic thai dishes supplemented with a an intriguing array of more unique options.
I had a salmon dish which was remarkably good, and my dinner pal spoke very highly of the grilled pork. The dishes were excellently presented and services was efficient and very polite.
Even with full capacity, it was very quiet so not really place to bring a large crowd but definitely an option for a quieter dinner with a close friend.
Great food - must try is green curry ans chicken satay! From the starters make sure to try the sharing platter. The place also had great service.
No way Monkey and Me only gets 4.3. It is a travesty. Wonderful local restaurant. Great value. One of the best Pad Thais you will have, great currys. We love it (ignore the haters)
The restaurant is beautiful and located in the middle of Marylebone. The service was really kind to us and the food was good! The price could grow quickly depending on drinks and dishes. Pad thai and prawns were the best for us. Food was served quickly. Again, the best the service received! If you're in the area, I definitely recommend it!
Lovely little neighbourhood Thai restaurant. Great, authentic food and reasonably priced
Lovely little place not far from Baker St.
Service was perfect, staff were so friendly and accommodating.
Had a nut allergy in our group and they were. Ery helpful and could make dishes without.
Good happy hour deals mid-week and best of all, food was very tasty.
The appetiser sharing platter had a good variety.
Ordered Pad Thai, grilled pork, and massaman curry. Every dish was very tasty.
Service was decent.
Very close to Baker Street station.
Great Thai food and reasonable prices for its location.
Been here a couple of times and staff are always attentive.
The only reason why I gave 4 points to atmosphere is because the place can get very noisy especially when there are big groups. You almost cannot have conversations with your own group. The acoustics could use a bit of improvement.
Not a place for a quiet dinner although everything else is great.
An old favorite as my dear friend has lived round the corner for many years and he is probably one of their most loyal patrons !
Menu not required ! The team knows exactly what we will have ! The signature prawns with tamarind and chilli, mince chicken salad, chicken satay and raw papaya salad accompanied by tom kha soup!
Followed by Phad Thai, fried rice and green Thai curry and the beef salad !
The team makes you feel at home and serves some of the best Thai cuisine in London !
We were so busy eating that I forgot to take photos of the mains !!!
The food is excellent. The menu has a broad range of options, with interesting dishes that you won't find in other thai places. The portions are well sized.
The service was average and the decor of the restaurant is nothing special, but the food is so good I am still giving it 5 stars.
Really spacious and welcoming restaurant. The food was delicious - we ordered the crispy fried calamari, the monkey mixed starter for 2, and a Thai and red and green curry each. The flavours were exquisite, really happy with our time here :)
It’s a cheap, local restaurant. Set price lunch. Food is ok but nothing to write home about. Gets busy with office crowds. Use it when just want to eat without travelling anywhere as close by my house.
This restaurant is a 5-7 min walk from baker Street station. The food was absolutely delicious. The cuisine is Thai. The staff is helpful and friendly. They have lots of vegetarian options. They also have seating. However, the restaurant is generally quite busy, so best to go there with a reservation.
Green curry is my favourite Thai dish. It was creamy and spicy with a lot of chicken. The King Prawn Glass Noodles were good too. I wouldn't order the Pak Choi dish again as it was pretty small. Overall a nice spot :)
Easy to book a table and good service. Food was very tasty. Was quite noisy with a large booking on a Friday night. Rice portions were small and ate a strange banana in milk dessert! But overall, a great meal with friends.
Great value for the food quality . Recommend the deep fried duck leg under their signature list . Pad Thai is a bit too sweet for my liking but overall very good and clean atmosphere ! Very friendly staff .
Positively surprised with the restaurant. Visited with a friend for lunch on a week day.
Service was swift, we had the set menu with the starter or soup and the main.
Chicken satay was decent and chicken pad Thai excellent.
Prices are very good compared to the other restaurants in the area.
Overall great experience.
Love this place! Have already visited multiple times, first time ordered through Deliveroo. Honestly consider this the best Thai restaurant in the neighborhood ❤️Always very attentive staff and delicious food. This time had pad thai with dried shrimp, very balanced taste and quite a big portion
The duck curry was better than I expected when I looked to the maps pictures, delicious! The pad Thai was good although the prawns were a bit raw. Finally the mango with sticky rice was great!
