It’s hard to pick a venue for a big gathering and it can be a bit of a gamble when it is a place that has not been to before. The main thing is that you want everything to go smoothly from the service to the quality of the food. There was nothing at all to worry about when the venue was Bill’s. It was a flawless evening with everyone enjoying the tasty food. When we were having the starter platters, the staff came and asked if we were ready to order the main dishes. They wanted to let us know that they had another big party arriving and hence didn’t want us to be delayed with our food. This worked fine with us as we ordered the mains, but we had the time to finish our starters. By the time the main dishes came out from the kitchen, we were all ready for them.
My friend and I went for breakfast at Bill's. We both ordered coffee and Bills breakfast. It tasted really good. The waitress was pretty friendly as well. Good service and food. Definitely recommend to others.
Solid breakfast place for yummy pancakes and baby friendly access. Bill's is reliable and easy. It has a nice atmosphere and is your standard no brainer when all you want is a good, typical, predictable, hearty meal. I love their pancakes and sticky toffee pudding! Prices also good!
This place has breakfast, lunch and dinner but is also a good spot to have some drinks after work. Bloody Mary is my favourite cocktail and they do it exactly as I like it, with a stick of celery. If you want to grab a bite, the codfish finger sandwich is very tasty!

Quaint little restaurant close to the tube station. Staff is friendly and food is homely and good. Had their chicken skewers as a main and their speciality Nutella sandwich for desert :) would defiantly come back. Prices are decent and staff is very friendly
Yummmmm... I loved everything I had at Bills! I ordered the Mezze board which was glorious! So much flavour and fun to share! And the drinks were great too, as well as the atmosphere and service. I will definitely be eating here again.
Bill's is tucked away opposite Angel station. It has an extensive brunch menu, serving perfect eggs every time. It really tries to create a quirky and authentic dining environment, with bunches of chillies hanging from the walls and a selection of its own produce lining the counter in cute jars. I recently came here for a late lunch, having missed their breakfast time menu, decided to choose the cod fish finger sandwich. The charming idea of the menu choice seems to root itself in the nostalgia of childhood mealtimes. However, the sandwich was made with delicious farmhouse bread and was definitely a step up from a Birds Eye fish finger. My fries also seemed to have been hand-cut giving the whole meal a more gourmet appeal. Although I strayed from my usual favourites, Bill's once again did not disappoint.
It has been great watching this place go for strength to strength since it first arrived in Angel. I’d first heard about it from a friend who raved about the one in Covent Garden and I’ve enjoyed seeing more and more of them pop up in London. Even though Bill’s is starting to have franchise status it sticks to its roots by maintaining the lovely home grown feel that made it so successful. Bottles and jars of its specially sourced produce still line the walls, next to blackboards which exclaim the specials in a charmingly slap dash fashion.
Bill’s is great for any time of day; I particularly like their lighter snacks at lunch time, having once had a beautifully fresh crab salad from the specials menu. But a real treat for me is to come here for brunch. The portion sizes are refreshingly large; go for a full English if you are feeling particularly hungry, a highlight of which are the Cumberland sausages which are thick and tasty. Even the buttered toast is a gorgeous salty delight, and is one of the best aspects of the huge serving of salmon and scrambled eggs on toast which is on offer.
The one criticism I have is for the cream tea which didn’t quite live up to my expectations; it was nice but not up to the standard I have come to expect from Bill’s as the cakes were slightly dry and the sandwiches boring.
But all in all Bill’s is fast becoming one of my favourite restaurants, for the colourful, pretty interior, friendly service and delicious indulgent food.
It is hard to call this place a chain as it has grown so organically from the humble roots it once was. Full of character, the walls are lined with locally sourced ingredients and all sorts of different wonders. The kitchen is open and the food is of high quality. The decor is cute and perfect for a family breakfast. Eggs benedict was well cooked the yolk pours once popped and the bread fresh and tasty.
Bills is one of my favourite British Chains. Before two years I experienced the restaurant and the quality of the service they offered to me in Cambridge !
I like the Bills, located in Angel close to my work, but the restaurant in Soho is Nice as well.
I love the atmosphere there, everything so vintage and colourful! Great chain! My favourite from the mains would be the Bill's hamburger with guacamole or with steaky bacon, nice as well or the Chicken Ceasar, prepared with fresh and natural ingredients! The service is great as well- nice and friendly !
Breakfast is considered the most important meal of the day, but it’s all the more important if it’s cooked to greatness. If you’re an early bird or are up with a hangover, get to Bill’s before noon and order from the breakfast menu, preferably one of their savoury choices, to start your day right.
The main courses are ace too, though a bit pricey. That becomes more problematic when the shop merchandise is staring at you throughout your stay, using its silent powers of persuasion on you to buy them…
If you somehow manage to want to order more food (like I did) after your mains, the chocolate brownie milkshake is the way to go.
So I went here a while back and had Bill's Duck Pie - which, without a doubt was the best pie I have ever eaten! As for the restaurant, it had a calm rustic vibe with dim lighting which together felt informal yet somewhat.. romantic i guess lol - Erm drinks were kinda pricey :| but I'm still going back for #BillsDuckPie
Came for the bottomless brunch with friends on a Saturday. Absolutely amazing service from a gentleman called Chris. He was warm and welcoming and could not do enough to help us. Food was extremely delicious, plenty of choice and generous portions. Great value for money and a good location in Angel. Bills did not disappoint and Chris deserves a raise!
I like Bill's. Food is always nicely presented. It has a cozy atmosphere and the food is tasty. The Islington Bill's is well situated to kick off your Saturday morning in Islington, filling us up for the long walk we have ahead.
Excellent place to go! Staff really helpful and friendly. Food tasty, filling and hot! Pricing very reasonable.
Thank you!!
Very fancy breakfast, but a bit too less for the price
So nice we ate there twice. Breakfast and Dinner. Get the black pudding. Spectacular. The smoked salmon Benedict was delightful.
Came into the restaurant for to go coffees. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The coffee was tasty and hot

Ordered Bill’s breakfast. Bacon is perfect. Good to hangout with friends or family.
The service was so great, one woman was so attentive and friendly in a genuine way. It made our Saturday😌
The food was great, the Bills sharing plate was a great variation and all so delicious!! A little on the expensive side but I recommend. I also ordered the macaroni and cheese which was a very mellow tasting easy eating dish🙂I felt relaxed and not rushed even though it was quite busy.
We discovered bills a year ago. Everything was perfect, the glow bowl is fantastic. Had my first ever sticky toffee pudding for desert here, and ever since it is my favourite desert and I am coming regularly! I've been bringing all friends who visit from abroad to bill's to try the pudding. Somewhere this year they took it from the menu as it's usually only served in winter time I was told. I tried other places but nothing can replace bill's sticky toffee pudding!
Since September I am checking the Menu of bill's on a bi weekly bases.. it never returned! Also the staff said that they are surprised as many people loved this desert! The staff advised me that I might be able to reach the owners with my plea via a review, so here it is :)
Dear Bill's, you have a great fan here, please bring back my favourite dessert of all times!
I ordered the Bill's Garden breakfast with a side of sausage and it tasted great. The staff were lovely and attentive, especially the male host. I was a single brunch diner and they really did take care of me. I will definitely be back again!
It's one of the most relaxing Restaurant when meeting up with family and friends. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The food is amazing, good quality, and reasonable. I took my sister there a week ago and she was surprise that there was such a good Retaurant which is open on a daily basis for Breakfast, Lunch, and dinner. She was really impressed.
2 time visitor. I had the summer omelet with bacon- both times good and surprisingly filling. Also, we do table pancakes and these are awesome! Both times the staff were extra thoughtful- first time waiting to put our pancakes order in so they'd still be hot and fresh when we ate them. 2nd time they gave us some tea to take.
Coupons for a bottle of wine if we ever manage a babysitter and come for dinner:) highly recommend!
