In london you won't get better bennoffie pies than here. Food is little overpriced as compared to other places in covent garden but its tasty. Do try chicken in main course its always tender and melt in mouth. It has sitting arrangement outside as well its good to be seated outside when its not raining or cold.
Jantar italiano de muita qualidade, produtos óptimos, pastas deliciosas, pizzas incríveis.
Serviço excelente, decoração a lembrar um bistro.
Excelente localização, bem no centro da zona dos teatros.
Pasta? more like pie. Despite pastas being average.
Their banoffee pies are.
legendary.
Perfectly adequate but not much more. Okay for a quick evening meal when everything else is full. Seats outside are good for peppe watching. Nick and tom.
Mains not impressive and overpriced. Just make time to have their bannoffee pie!
I had a lovely lunch here one fine September day. It wasn't warm enough to sit outside, so we sat by the window instead. The waitress got a bit annoyed at us for talking for almost half an hour before we ordered (to be fair, it had been a while since we had caught up).
The nice thing about this meal was that we were sent over complimentary garlic bread and a complimentary banoffee pie at the end! Both quite decent. Which left only the mains to be chosen.
I had the grilled chicken in a mushroom sauce. Excellent stuff- really soft meat and a great sauce that steered clear of being too rich or salty. My friends ordered the aglio olio and lamb respectively and were quite happy.
Overall a very pleasant and relaxed little restaurant.
So delicious! You can always tell when the place is good when it's consistently busy.
We got a side salad (Insalata Mista), fries, garlic bread, and the Penne alla Contadina.
The pasta was amazing!
And then for dessert, we had the Torta di Formaggi (which was the most creamy cheesecake) and the Tiramisu.
Overall a wonderful experience.
Pasta Brown was a good choice for dinner. The menu offers many Italian flavors and choices.
The plates were not the best Italian food I have had, but it was good basic hearty Italian cooking. I felt the Caesar salad was just okay as was the garlic bread. The pizza was good and the penne Siciliana was hearty.
The service was good, quick, and attentive. Pasta Brown is in a good location close to theatres and many sites. Definitely a good place to stop for a hearty meal.
This is the best Italian restaurant I've found in London, and in fact, the best restaurant overall. The day before, I spent 30 minutes looking for a place to eat, but it was just okay. The next day, I found Pasta Brown and it was amazing! Its location next to three underground stations made it convenient for me to grab a quick meal. I loved it so much that I went back again the next day. The prices are reasonable and the food quality is excellent. The service is also very fast. Overall, it's an outstanding restaurant.
Me and my wife ate here on our last night in London and the pasta we had was amazing! I had the penne contadina and wife had fettuccine alfredo. The staff was ok but not great. The only thing I didn’t like was having to ask several times for 17 minutes to pay so we could leave. Other than that I would highly recommend this place. It’s nice and pasta dishes we had were sooooo good! Also, the price is on point. I saw some reviews complain about price and after visiting I don’t understand how they would say such a thing. You go to a chain restaurant and it’s the same price yet this is by far is much better quality for the same price. If you are searching for pasta just stop and go here now!
Nice place, very tasty food.
Original Italian flavors
By far the best meal we had in London. The staff was amazing, the food came out exceptionally fast even with a full house, and you cannot pass up on the dessert. One of the best meals I’ve ever had, if not THE best.
Great restaurant. Not huge but we managed to get in OK. The food was so delicious. I always worry as i am gluten free but there are so many options. There were 9 of us and everything was perfect! We will be back again!
Ok I’m becoming repetitive in my reviews, but I have to write about awesome places when they are deserved. We had actually tried to get into another Italian restaurant, which was full and luckily for us we found Pasta Brown. 3 pasta dishes, 1 pizza, 2 side salads and a homemade Tiramisu later, our bellies are stuffed, and we are relaxed and talking about how great the food and service was. I can’t name an individual staff member, the concept is everyone serves, clears, talks, informs and are very friendly.. I couldn’t fault the service, atmosphere or food..
Well done team PB…
We were in line queuing up to have dinner at wagamamas till my partner pointed out the amazing smell that was lingering around in the street… she pointed at Pasta and Browns and said “I think it’s coming from there” we walked across the road and sniffed out the air haha and decided to ditch wagamamas and asked for a table.
We were both fasting for ramadan and there was about 40mins till sunset (for us to break our fast). The tall young fella serving us was quite nice and once I told him of our situation he kindly said that he’d take care of things with putting our orders through closer to the time of eating.
The bruschetta was lovely and so was the garlic bread… a bit of a shame as the bottom of the garlic bread was a little soggy yet it was still delicious!
Onto the mains. We did wait quite a while for them roughly 45 minutes but they did not disappoint. Being a huge mushroom lover my creamy pasta with chicken and wild mushroom was awesome. My partner also enjoyed her lasagne which was rich in sauce and cheesy very much. We had a side of fries which were very small in portion but oh well, when the pasta is that good who can complain.
The bill came to around £85 which isn’t the cheapest but you’re in town and enjoying good food so who cares right.
Overall very nice food and will pop by here again, perhaps to try their seafood linguini which I kept seeing leaving the kitchen.
Check them out!
Excellent hidden Gem! The food was sublime! The absolute best Frutti de Mare spaghetti I’ve ever tasted! The owner’s hospitality was second to none, this place is like sitting having dinner with a huge Italian family! I cannot wait to come back!
My favourite restaurant in London! I’m not one to go to the same place again, but I always want to go back to Pasta Brown whenever I’m in London. Incredible food, incredible wine, and feels very authentic.
One of my favourite Italian restaurants!! It is super cosy and the food is out of this world! Penne pasta brown is the thing you must have from the menu when you are dining here! The staff is really polite. We also had some wine - try the red list! We spend around 80 pounds for 2 people for lunch including a shared starter, two mains, two glasses of wine and a service charge of 12%. It is also clean! I must add I was impressed with the interior full of pictures and memories - it complements the atmosphere of this place.
A restaurant with a family atmosphere. The service is very good and attentive, the decor is warm with lots of pictures of the family. The dishes are very tasty!
Great find food excellent and really quick service, especially from a young woman, Silva I think that was her name. I would highly recommend.
We’ll deserved 4 stars. My wife loved her mussels (very fresh). Rest of the food was very decent.
Extremely nice staff and really good Italian food. Recommended!
Very centrally located in Covent Garden. The pasta tastes good and the portions are large. But it just tastes like normal pasta and the pasta itself is not fresh. On the pricier side. £35/person
